ಆಮೋಸನು 9

1 ೧ ಕರ್ತನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಆತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು, “ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲುಗಳು ಕದಲುವಂತೆ ಕಂಬಗಳ ಬೋದಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಹೊಡೆ. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎಲ್ಲರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಉಳಿದವರನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಓಡಿಹೋಗರು, ಯಾರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳರು.

I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and he said, “Strike the tops of the pillars, that the thresholds may shake. Break them in pieces on the head of all of them. I will kill the last of them with the sword. Not one of them will flee away. Not one of them will escape.

2 ೨ ಪಾತಾಳದವರೆಗೆ ತೋಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರೂ, ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದೆಳೆಯುವುದು, ಸ್ವರ್ಗದ ತನಕ ಹತ್ತಿದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಇಳಿಸುವೆನು. (Sheol h7585)

Though they dig into Sheol, there my hand will take them; and though they climb up to heaven, there I will bring them down. (Sheol h7585)

3 ೩ ಕರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡರೂ, ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೂ ಹಿಡಿದು ತರುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದತಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡರೂ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಘಟಸರ್ಪವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಚ್ಚುವುದು.

Though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out from there; and though they be hidden from my sight in the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent, and it will bite them.

4 ೪ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ವಶವಾಗಿ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋದರೂ, ಖಡ್ಗವು ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞಾನುಸಾರ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹತಿಸುವುದು. ಮೇಲಿಗಲ್ಲ, ಕೇಡಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಡುವೆನು.”

Though they go into captivity before their enemies, there I will command the sword, and it will kill them. I will set my eyes on them for evil, and not for good.

5 ೫ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅದು ಕರಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಸಕಲ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಗೋಳಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನೆಲವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯಂತೆ ಉಬ್ಬಿ, ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ನದಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇಳಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.

For the Lord, the GOD of Armies, is he who touches the land and it melts, and all who dwell in it will mourn; and it will rise up wholly like the River, and will sink again, like the River of Egypt.

6 ೬ ಉನ್ನತಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪ್ಪರಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅನೇಕ ಅಂತಸ್ತನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು, ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುಮ್ಮಟವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಸಮುದ್ರದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಸೇದಿ, ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬುವುದೇ ಆತನ ನಾಮಧೇಯ.

It is he who builds his rooms in the heavens, and has founded his vault on the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the surface of the earth—the LORD is his name.

7 ೭ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಗಣನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಷ್ಯರ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲವೇ? ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರನ್ನು ಕಫ್ತೋರಿನಿಂದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೀರಿನಿಂದ ಏಕರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ?

Are you not like the children of the Ethiopians to me, children of Israel?” says the LORD. “Haven’t I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

8 ೮ ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಪಾಪವುಳ್ಳ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಭೂಮಂಡಲದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವನು, ಆದರೆ ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಮನೆತನವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡನು” ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the surface of the earth, except that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,” says the LORD.

9 ೯ “ಇಗೋ, ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜರಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಲಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿ ಜಾಲಿಸಬೇಕು” ಆದರೂ ಒಂದು ಕಾಳಾದರೂ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

“For behold, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel amongst all the nations as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet not the least kernel will fall on the earth.

10 ೧೦ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಪತ್ತು ಹಿಂದಟದು; ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಎನ್ನುವ ನನ್ನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಾಪಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಹತರಾಗುವರು.

All the sinners of my people will die by the sword, who say, ‘Evil won’t overtake nor meet us.’

11 ೧೧ “ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ದಾವೀದನ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿರುವ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ, ಅದರ ಬಿರುಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುವೆನು, ಹಾಳಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವೆನು.

In that day I will raise up the tent of David who is fallen and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old,

12 ೧೨ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಎದೋಮಿನ ಉಳಿದ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಪ್ರಜೆ ಎನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಹಾಳಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುವೆನು” ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations who are called by my name,” says the LORD who does this.

13 ೧೩ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಇಗೋ, ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವು, ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳುವವನು ಕೊಯ್ಯುವವನನ್ನೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನು ತುಳಿಯುವವನು ಬಿತ್ತುವವನನ್ನೂ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವರು. ಆಗ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಹೊಸ ಸಿಹಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುವವು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಕರಗುವವು.

“Behold, the days come,” says the LORD, “that the ploughman shall overtake the reaper, and the one treading grapes him who sows seed; and sweet wine will drip from the mountains, and flow from the hills.

14 ೧೪ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದುರಾವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರು ಹಾಳು ಬಿದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವರು ಮತ್ತು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವರು, ತೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವರು.

I will bring my people Israel back from captivity, and they will rebuild the ruined cities, and inhabit them; and they will plant vineyards, and drink wine from them. They shall also make gardens, and eat their fruit.

15 ೧೫ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸುವೆನು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ಸೀಮೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.

I will plant them on their land, and they will no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them,” says the LORD your God.
