ಥೆಸಲೋನಿಕದವರಿಗೆ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ 3

1 ೧ ಕಡೆಯದಾಗಿ, ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿಹರಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅದು ಬೇಗನೆ ಪಸರಿಸಿ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದಲಿ,

For the rest, brethren, pray for us, that the word of God may run, and may be glorified, even as among you;

2 ೨ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮೂರ್ಖರಾದ ದುಷ್ಟಜನರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಎಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ.

And that we may be delivered from importunate and evil men; for all men have not faith.

3 ೩ ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನು, ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿ ನೀವು ಕೆಡುಕನ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕದಂತೆ ಕಾಪಾಡುವನು.

But God is faithful, who will strengthen and keep you from evil.

4 ೪ ನಾವು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರೆಂತಲೂ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಮಾಡುವಿರೆಂತಲೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಭರವಸವುಂಟು.

And we have confidence concerning you in the Lord, that the things which we command, you both do, and will do.

5 ೫ ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇರುವಂತೆ ಕರ್ತನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಿ.

And the Lord direct your hearts, in the charity of God, and the patience of Christ.

6 ೬ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನಾವು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸದೆ ಸೋಮಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸಹೋದರನಿಂದ ನೀವು ದೂರವಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

And we charge you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother walking disorderly, and not according to the tradition which they have received of us.

7 ೭ ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಹೇಗೆ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೀವೇ ಬಲ್ಲಿರಿ, ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.

For yourselves know how you ought to imitate us: for we were not disorderly among you;

8 ೮ ನಾವು ಹಣಕೊಡದೆ ಯಾರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಭಾರವಾಗಬಾರದೆಂದು ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಕಷ್ಟದಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರಯಾಸದಿಂದಲೂ ದುಡಿದು ಜೀವನ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು.

Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nothing, but in labour and in toil we worked night and day, lest we should be chargeable to any of you.

9 ೯ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಪೋಷಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಹಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದೇ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು.

Not as if we had not power: but that we might give ourselves a pattern unto you, to imitate us.

10 ೧೦ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾಗ, “ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲೊಲ್ಲದವನು ಊಟಮಾಡಬಾರದು” ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದೆವಷ್ಟೆ.

For also when we were with you, this we declared to you: that, if any man will not work, neither let him eat.

11 ೧೧ ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡದೆ, ಇತರರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ತಲೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಸೋಮಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

For we have heard there are some among you who walk disorderly, working not at all, but curiously meddling.

12 ೧೨ ಇಂಥವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ತಾವೇ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.

Now we charge them that are such, and beseech them by the Lord Jesus Christ, that, working with silence, they would eat their own bread.

13 ೧೩ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನೀವಾದರೋ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ.

But you, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

14 ೧೪ ಈ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಒಳಗಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಅವನ ಸಹವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಬೇಡಿರಿ.

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed:

15 ೧೫ ಆದರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ವೈರಿಯೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸದೆ ಸಹೋದರನೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೇಳಿರಿ.

Yet do not esteem him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

16 ೧೬ ಶಾಂತಿದಾಯಕನಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ತಾನೇ ಸದಾಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಕಲವಿಧದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಲಿ. ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗಿರಲಿ.

Now the Lord of peace himself give you everlasting peace in every place. The Lord be with you all.

17 ೧೭ ಪೌಲನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಸ್ವಂತ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ವಂದನೆಯನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದೇ ನನ್ನ ಗುರುತು, ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ಬರಹ.

The salutation of Paul with my own hand; which is the sign in every epistle. So I write.

18 ೧೮ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಂಗಡವಿರಲಿ.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
