ಸಮುವೇಲನು - ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಭಾಗ 6
And David again gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.
2 ೨ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದ ಬಾಳಾ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಆ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ದೇವನಾಮದಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ ಕೆರೂಬಿಯರ ನಡುವೆ ಆಸೀನನಾಗಿರುವ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
And David arose, and went with all the people who were with him to Baalah, that is, Kiriath Jearim of Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called there by the name of Jehovah of hosts enthroned on the cherubim.
3 ೩ ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಅಬೀನಾದಾಬನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು, ಅದನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಬಂಡಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಏರಿಸಿದರು. ಅಬೀನಾದಾಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಉಜ್ಜನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅಹಿಯೋವನೂ ಬಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಗ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
And they set the ark of God on a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was on the hill. And Uzza and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, guided the cart
with the ark; and Ahio was walking in front of the ark.
5 ೫ ದಾವೀದನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ ಶಂಕುಮರದಿಂದ (ಸೈಪ್ರಸ್ ಮರ) ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಿನ್ನರಿ, ಸ್ವರಮಂಡಲ, ದಮ್ಮಡಿ, ಝಲ್ಲರಿ, ತಾಳ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪೂರ್ಣಾಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ನರ್ತನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದರು.
And David and all the children of Israel played before Jehovah with all their strength and with songs, and with harps, and with stringed instruments, and with tambourines, and with castanets, and with cymbals.
And when they came to the threshing floor of Nodan, Uzza reached out his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the cattle stumbled.
7 ೭ ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಉಜ್ಜನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು, ಈ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Uzza; and God struck him there for his error; and there he died before God.
8 ೮ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಉಜ್ಜನನ್ನು ಹತ್ಯಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನು ಸಿಟ್ಟುಗೊಂಡು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ “ಪೆರೆಚ್ ಉಜ್ಜಾ” ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಅದೇ ಹೆಸರಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
And David was displeased, because Jehovah had broken forth on Uzza; and he called that place Perez Uzza, to this day.
9 ೯ ಆ ದಿನ ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು, “ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ನಾನಿರುವಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡು,
And David was afraid of Jehovah that day; and he said, "How can the ark of God come to me?" Now the ark of Jehovah arrived,
but David was not willing to move the ark of Jehovah with him to the City of David; so David diverted it to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
11 ೧೧ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ಗತ್ ಊರಿನ ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಇತ್ತು. ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು.
And the ark of Jehovah remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months, and Jehovah blessed Obed-Edom and all his house.
12 ೧೨ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮನನ್ನೂ ಅವನಿಗಿರುವುದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆಂಬ ವರ್ತಮಾನವು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ, ಅವನು ಹೋಗಿ ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದನು.
And it was told king David, saying, "Jehovah has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him because of the ark of God." And David said, "I will bring back the blessing to my house." And David went and brought up the ark of Jehovah from the house of Obed-Edom into the City of David with joy.
13 ೧೩ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತವರು ಆರು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ನಡೆದ ನಂತರ, ದಾವೀದನು ಒಂದು ಎತ್ತನ್ನೂ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಕರುವನ್ನೂ ಯಜ್ಞಮಾಡಿದನು.
And it was so, that, when those who bore the ark of Jehovah had gone six steps, he sacrificed an ox and a fattened calf.
And David danced before Jehovah with all his might; and David was clothed in a linen ephod.
So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of Jehovah with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
16 ೧೬ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ದಾವೀದನಗರದೊಳಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಸೌಲನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಮೀಕಲಳು ಕಿಟಿಕಿಯಿಂದ ಇಣಿಕಿ ನೋಡಿ, ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಜಿಗಿಯುತ್ತಾ, ಕುಣಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದಳು
Now, as the ark of Jehovah was entering into the City of David, Mikal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before Jehovah; and she despised him in her heart.
17 ೧೭ ಜನರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತಂದು ದಾವೀದನು ಹಾಕಿಸಿದ ಗುಡಾರದೊಳಗೆ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನು, ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
And they brought in the ark of Jehovah, and set it in its place, in the midst of the tent that David had set up for it; and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before Jehovah.
And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah of hosts.
19 ೧೯ ಸಭೆಯಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಗಂಡಸಿಗೂ ಹೆಂಗಸಿಗೂ ಒಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಒಂದು ತುಂಡು ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಉಂಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಿಸಿದರು. ತರುವಾಯ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
And he gave to all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, both to men and women, to everyone a portion of bread, a date cake, and a raisin cake. So all the people departed everyone to his house.
20 ೨೦ ಅನಂತರ ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಸೌಲನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಮೀಕಲಳು ಅವನೆದುರಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, “ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನು ಎಂಥ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಹುಚ್ಚರಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬನಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಜನರ ದಾಸಿಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದನಲ್ಲಾ” ಅಂದಳು.
And then David returned to bless his household. Mikal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David. And she greeted him, and said, "How glorious the king of Israel was today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself."
21 ೨೧ ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಮೀಕಲಳಿಗೆ, “ಇದನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನಷ್ಟೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ನನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಕುಣಿದಾಡುವೆನು.
And David said to Mikal, "I was dancing before Jehovah. Blessed be Jehovah, who chose me above your father, and above all his house, to appoint me prince over the people of Jehovah, over Israel; therefore I will celebrate before Jehovah.
22 ೨೨ ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರ ಹೊಂದುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಪನೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ದಾಸಿಯರಾದರೋ ಹೇಗೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸುವರು” ಎಂದನು.
And I will be yet more vile than this, and will be lowly in your eyes. But of the handmaids of whom you have spoken, they shall honor me."
And Mikal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death.
