ಅರಸುಗಳು - ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಭಾಗ 9
1 ೧ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಎಲೀಷನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಮಂಡಳಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಈ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯ ಕುಪ್ಪಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ರಾಮೋತ್ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗು.”
And Elisha the prophet hath called to one of the sons of the prophets, and saith to him, 'Gird up thy loins, and take this vial of oil in thy hand, and go to Ramoth-Gilead,
2 ೨ ಆ ಊರನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದ ನಂತರ ನಿಂಷಿಯ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ, ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಯೇಹುವು ಎಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ, ಅವನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದಾಗ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರ ಗುಂಪಿನಿಂದ ಒಳಗಿನ ಕೋಣೆಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗು.
and thou hast gone in there, and see thou there Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi, and thou hast gone in, and caused him to rise out of the midst of his brethren, and brought him in to the inner part of an inner-chamber,
3 ೩ ತರುವಾಯ ಕುಪ್ಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಯ್ದು, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತೆರೆದು ಓಡಿಹೋಗು” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
and taken the vial of oil, and poured on his head, and said, Thus said Jehovah, I have anointed thee for king unto Israel; and thou hast opened the door, and fled, and dost not wait.'
And the young man goeth — the young man the prophet — to Ramoth-Gilead,
5 ೫ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಸೇರಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ, “ನಾಯಕನೇ ನಿನಗೊಂದು ಮಾತು ಹೇಳುವುದಿದೆ” ಎಂದನು. ಯೇಹುವು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವನು, “ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ನಿನಗೆ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
and cometh in, and lo, chiefs of the force are sitting, and he saith, 'I have a word unto thee, O chief!' and Jehu saith, 'Unto which of all of us?' and he saith, 'Unto thee, O chief.'
6 ೬ ಯೇಹುವು ಎದ್ದು ಒಳಗಿನ ಕೋಣೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಆ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನು ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ದು, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು, ಆತನು ನಿನಗೆ, ‘ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
And he riseth and cometh in to the house, and he poureth the oil on his head, and saith to him, 'Thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, I have anointed thee for king unto the people of Jehovah, unto Israel,
7 ೭ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಾದ ಅಹಾಬನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿಬಿಡು; ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೇ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಕ್ತರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸಿದಂತಾಗುವುದು.
and thou hast smitten the house of Ahab thy lord, and I have required the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of Jehovah, from the hand of Jezebel;
8 ೮ ಅಹಾಬನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾಗಬೇಕು. ಅವನ ಸಂತಾನದ ಗಂಡಸರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರರಾಗಲಿ, ಗುಲಾಮನಾಗಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವೆನು.
and perished hath all the house of Ahab, and I have cut off to Ahab those sitting on the wall, and restrained, and left, in Israel,
and I have given up the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat, and as the house of Baasha son of Ahijah,
10 ೧೦ ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳ ಶವವು ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾಯಿಗಳು ಅವಳ ಹೆಣವನ್ನು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುವವು’” ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಓಡಿಹೋದನು.
and Jezebel do the dogs eat in the portion of Jezreel, and there is none burying;' and he openeth the door and fleeth.
11 ೧೧ ಯೇಹುವು ತಿರುಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನ ಸೇವಕರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರಲು ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು, “ಶುಭವಾರ್ತೆಯೋ? ಆ ಹುಚ್ಚನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದದ್ದೇಕೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಹುವು, “ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಎಂಥವನು, ಅವನ ಮಾತು ಎಂಥದು ಎಂಬುದು ನಿಮಗೇ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
And Jehu hath gone out unto the servants of his lord, and [one] saith to him, 'Is there peace? wherefore came this madman unto thee?' and he saith unto them, 'Ye have known the man and his talk.'
12 ೧೨ ಆದರೆ ಅವರು, “ಅದು ಸುಳ್ಳು, ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೇಹುವು, “ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.”
And they say, 'False, declare, we pray thee, to us;' and he saith, 'Thus and thus spake he unto me, saying, Thus said Jehovah, I have anointed thee for king unto Israel.'
13 ೧೩ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಸಿ ತುತ್ತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿಸಿ ಯೇಹುವು ಅರಸನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಘೋಷಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿದರು.
And they haste and take each his garment, and put [it] under him at the top of the stairs, and blow with a trumpet, and say, 'Reigned hath Jehu!'
14 ೧೪ ಹೀಗೆ ನಿಂಷಿಯ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಯೇಹುವು ಯೋರಾಮನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಜಾಯೇಲನು ರಾಮೋತ್ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬರಲು ಯೋರಾಮನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾವಲುದಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿದನು.
And Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi, conspireth against Joram — (and Joram was keeping in Ramoth-Gilead, he and all Israel, from the presence of Hazael king of Aram,
15 ೧೫ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೋರಾಮನು, ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಜಾಯೇಲನೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಗಾಯ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅದನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಇಜ್ರೇಲ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದನು. ಯೇಹುವು ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ನನ್ನವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಈ ಸುದ್ದಿಯು ಇಜ್ರೇಲನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದಂತೆ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನೂ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
and king Joram turneth back to be healed in Jezreel, of the wounds with which the Aramaeans smite him, in his fighting with Hazael king of Aram) — and Jehu saith, 'If it is your mind, let not an escaped one go out from the city, to go to declare [it] in Jezreel.'
16 ೧೬ ಅನಂತರ ಯೇಹುವು ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದ ಯೋರಾಮನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನೂ ಇದ್ದನು.
And Jehu rideth, and goeth to Jezreel, for Joram is lying there, and Ahaziah king of Judah hath gone down to see Joram.
17 ೧೭ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನ ಬುರುಜಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರು ಯೇಹುವಿನ ಗುಂಪಿನವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, “ಜನರ ಒಂದು ಗುಂಪು ಬರುವುದು ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದು ಯೋರಾಮನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. ಯೋರಾಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಒಬ್ಬ ರಾಹುತನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವವರು ಶುಭವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೊ? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸು” ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
And the watchman is standing on the tower in Jezreel, and seeth the company of Jehu in his coming, and saith, 'A company I see;' and Joram saith, 'Take a rider and send to meet them, and let him say, Is there peace?'
18 ೧೮ ರಾಹುತನು ಯೇಹುವನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು, “ಅರಸನು ಶುಭವಾರ್ತೆಯುಂಟೋ? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ” ಎನ್ನಲು ಅವನು, “ಶುಭವಾರ್ತೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನಗೇನಾಗಬೇಕು ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಾ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ, “ರಾಹುತನು ಆ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವುದು ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅರಸನು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ರಾಹುತನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
and the rider on the horse goeth to meet him, and saith, 'Thus said the king, Is there peace?' and Jehu saith, 'What — to thee and to peace? turn round behind me.' And the watchman declareth, saying, 'The messenger came unto them, and he hath not returned.'
19 ೧೯ ಅವನು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಹುವನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು, “ಅರಸನು ಶುಭವಾರ್ತೆಯುಂಟೋ? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ” ಎನ್ನಲು ಅವನು, “ಶುಭವಾರ್ತೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನಗೇನಾಗಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಾ” ಎಂದನು.
And he sendeth a second rider on a horse, and he cometh in unto them, and saith, 'Thus said the king, Is there peace?' and Jehu saith, 'What — to thee and to peace? turn round behind me.'
20 ೨೦ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ, “ಎರಡನೆಯವನೂ ಆ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವುದು ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವವನು ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಚ್ಚು ಹಿಡಿದವನಂತೆ ಓಡಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಅವನು ನಿಂಷಿಯ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಹುವೇ ಇರಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And the watchman declareth, saying, 'He came unto them, and he hath not returned, and the driving [is] like the driving of Jehu son of Nimshi, for with madness he driveth.'
21 ೨೧ ಯೋರಾಮನು ರಥವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೋರಾಮನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ರಥಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡು ಯೇಹುವನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳುವುಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನವನಾದ ನಾಬೋತನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿದರು.
And Jehoram saith, 'Harness;' and his chariot is harnessed, and Jehoram king of Israel goeth out, and Ahaziah king of Judah, each in his chariot, and they go out to meet Jehu, and find him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.
22 ೨೨ ಯೋರಾಮನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಕೂಡಲೆ, “ಯೇಹುವೇ, ಶುಭವೋ?” ಎಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು, “ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳ ದೇವದ್ರೋಹವೂ, ಮಂತ್ರತಂತ್ರಗಳೂ ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಭವೆಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬರುವುದು?” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
And it cometh to pass, at Jehoram's seeing Jehu, that he saith, 'Is there peace, Jehu?' and he saith, 'What [is] the peace, while the whoredoms of Jezebel thy mother, and her witchcrafts, are many?'
And Jehoram turneth his hands, and fleeth, and saith unto Ahaziah, 'Deceit, O Ahaziah!'
24 ೨೪ ಯೇಹುವು ಪೂರ್ಣಬಲದಿಂದ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಯೋರಾಮನ ಬೆನ್ನಿಗೆ ಬಾಣವನ್ನೆಸೆದನು. ಅದು ಅವನ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು. ಅವನು ಮುದುರಿ ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದನು.
And Jehu hath filled his hand with a bow, and smiteth Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow goeth out from his heart, and he boweth down in his chariot.
25 ೨೫ ಆಗ ಯೇಹುವು ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಬಿದ್ಕರನೆಂಬ ಸೇನಾಪತಿಗೆ, “ಯೋರಾಮನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನವನಾದ ನಾಬೋತನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಸಾಡು. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ನಾವಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಕುದುರೆ ಹತ್ತಿ, ಇವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಹಾಬನ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು:
And [Jehu] saith unto Bidkar his captain, 'Lift up, cast him into the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite — for, remember, I and thou were riding together after Ahab his father, and Jehovah lifted upon him this burden:
26 ೨೬ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅಹಾಬನಿಗೆ, ‘ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನೆ ಸುರಿಸಿದ ನಾಬೋತನ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ಅವರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸುವೆನು’ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಿನಗೆ ನೆನಪಿರುತ್ತದಲ್ಲಾ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ಇವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಆ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಸಾಡು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Have I not the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons seen yesternight — the affirmation of Jehovah — yea, I have recompensed to thee in this portion — the affirmation of Jehovah; — and now, lift up, cast him into the portion, according to the word of Jehovah.'
27 ೨೭ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನು ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಂಡು ಬೇತಹಗ್ಗನಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು. ಯೇಹುವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ, “ಅವನನ್ನೂ ರಥದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹೊಡೆಯಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಲು, ಅವನ ಜನರು ಇಬ್ಲೆಯಾಮಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗೂರ್ ಗಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗಾಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಅಹಜ್ಯನು ಮೆಗಿದ್ದೋವಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
And Ahaziah king of Judah hath seen, and fleeth the way of the garden-house, and Jehu pursueth after him, and saith, 'Smite him — also him — in the chariot,' in the going up to Gur, that [is] Ibleam, and he fleeth to Megiddo, and dieth there,
28 ೨೮ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರು ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಾವೀದ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸ್ಮಶಾನಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು.
and his servants carry him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and bury him in his burying-place, with his fathers, in the city of David.
And in the eleventh year of Joram son of Ahab reign did Ahaziah over Judah.
30 ೩೦ ಅನಂತರ ಯೇಹುವು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ನಯವಾಗಿ ಬಾಚಿಕೊಂಡು, ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಡಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಿಟಕಿಯಿಂದ ಇಣುಕಿ ನೋಡಿದಳು.
And Jehu cometh in to Jezreel, and Jezebel hath heard, and putteth her eyes in paint and maketh right her head, and looketh out through the window.
31 ೩೧ ಅನಂತರ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರವೇಶಮಾಡಿದ ಯೇಹುವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಯಜಮಾನನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದ ಜಿಮ್ರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವೋ? ಕ್ಷೇಮವೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಳು.
And Jehu hath come into the gate, and she saith, 'Was there peace [to] Zimri — slayer of his lord?'
32 ೩೨ ಅವನು ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ಕಿಟಕಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿ, “ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಷದವರು ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿದನು. ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆ ಕಿಟಕಿಯಿಂದ ಇಬ್ಬರು, ಮೂವರು ಕಂಚುಕಿಗಳು ಅವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿದರು.
And he lifteth up his face unto the window, and saith, 'Who [is] with me? — who?' and look out unto him do two [or] three eunuchs;
33 ೩೩ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ದೊಬ್ಬಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲು ಅವರು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ದೊಬ್ಬಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆಕೆಯ ರಕ್ತವು ಗೋಡೆಗಳಿಗೂ, ಕುದುರೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಸಿಡಿಯಿತು. ಅವನು ಆಕೆಯ ಶವವನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ಹಾಕಿದನು.
And he saith, 'Let her go;' and they let her go, and [some] of her blood is sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses, and he treadeth her down.
34 ೩೪ ಅನಂತರ ಅವನು ಅರಮನೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅನ್ನಪಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ, “ಆ ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಶವವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಆಕೆಯು ರಾಜಪುತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾಳಲ್ಲವೇ” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
And he cometh in, and eateth, and drinketh, and saith, 'Look after, I pray you, this cursed one, and bury her, for she [is] a king's daughter.'
35 ೩೫ ಸೇವಕರು ಶವವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ತಲೆಬುರುಡೆ, ಕೈಕಾಲುಗಳ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಬೇರೇನೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And they go to bury her, and have not found of her except the skull, and the feet, and the palms of the hands.
36 ೩೬ ಅವರು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಯೇಹುವಿನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದು ಆ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಯೆಹೋವನು, ತನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾಗಿರುವ ತಿಷ್ಬೀಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಯನ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿಸಿದ ಮಾತು ಈಗ ನೆರವೇರಿತು, ನಾಯಿಗಳು ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳ ದೇಹಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುವವು.
And they turn back, and declare to him, and he saith, 'The word of Jehovah it [is], that He spake by the hand of this servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel do the dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel,
37 ೩೭ ಆಕೆಯ ಶವವು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನ ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೆ ಗೊಬ್ಬರವಾಗುವುದು. ಇದು ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳ ಶವವೆಂದು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಗುರುತು ಸಿಕ್ಕದ ಹಾಗಾಗುವುದು” ಎಂದನು.
and the carcase of Jezebel hath been as dung on the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel, that they say not, This [is] Jezebel.'
