ಕೊರಿಂಥದವರಿಗೆ ಬರೆದ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ 13

1 ೧ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. “ಯಾವ ದೂರಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮೂವರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಆಧಾರವಿರಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.

This third time do I come unto you; on the mouth of two witnesses or three shall every saying be established;

2 ೨ ನಾನು ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸದೆ ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಈಗಲೂ ನಿಮಗೆ: ಪೂರ್ವ ಪಾಪಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ನಡಿಸುವವರಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

I have said before, and I say [it] before, as being present, the second time, and being absent, now, do I write to those having sinned before, and to all the rest, that if I come again, I will not spare,

3 ೩ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆಂಬುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ದುರ್ಬಲನಾಗಿರದೆ ಶಕ್ತನೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಬಲವಾದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

since a proof ye seek of the Christ speaking in me, who to you is not infirm, but is powerful in you,

4 ೪ ಆತನು ಬಲಹೀನಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು ನಿಜ; ಆದರೂ ದೇವರ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಜೀವಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನಾವೂ ಸಹ ಆತನ ಬಲಹೀನಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಆದರೂ ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೇವರ ಬಲದಿಂದ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

for even if he was crucified from infirmity, yet he doth live from the power of God; for we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him from the power of God toward you.

5 ೫ ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೀರೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೀವೇ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೀವೇ ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂಬುದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಆಯೋಗ್ಯರೇ.

Your own selves try ye, if ye are in the faith; your own selves prove ye; do ye not know your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you, if ye be not in some respect disapproved of?

6 ೬ ನಾವಂತೂ ಆಯೋಗ್ಯರಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದೆಂಬುದಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಭರವಸೆವುಂಟು.

and I hope that ye shall know that we — we are not disapproved of;

7 ೭ ನೀವು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದೇನೂ ಮಾಡಬಾರದೆಂದು ನಾವು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೇ ಆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳಗಾದವರೆಂದು ತೋರಿ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳಗಾದವರೆನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ನೀವು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶ.

and I pray before God that ye do no evil, not that we may appear approved, but that ye may do that which is right, and we may be as disapproved;

8 ೮ ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನಾವೇನೂ ಮಾಡಲಾರೆವು, ಸತ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.

for we are not able to do anything against the truth, but for the truth;

9 ೯ ನಾವು ಬಲಹೀನರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನೀವು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀವು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

for we rejoice when we may be infirm, and ye may be powerful; and this also we pray for — your perfection!

10 ೧೦ ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕಲ್ಲ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕಾಠಿಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿರಬಾರದೆಂದು ಇದನ್ನು ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

because of this, these things — being absent — I write, that being present, I may not treat [any] sharply, according to the authority that the Lord did give me for building up, and not for casting down.

11 ೧೧ ಕಡೆಯದಾಗಿ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿರಿ! ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಧೈರ್ಯವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರಿ, ಏಕ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರಿ, ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಇರಿ; ಆಗ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸ್ವರೂಪನೂ, ಶಾಂತಿದಾಯಕನೂ ಆದ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವನು.

Henceforth, brethren, rejoice; be made perfect, be comforted, be of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of the love and peace shall be with you;

12 ೧೨ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ಮುದ್ದಿಟ್ಟು ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ವಂದಿಸಿರಿ.

salute one another in an holy kiss;

13 ೧೩ ದೇವಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ವಂದನೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

salute you do all the saints;

14 ೧೪ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಕೃಪೆಯೂ, ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೂ, ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನ ಅನ್ಯೋನ್ಯತೆಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಂಗಡವಿರಲಿ.

the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, [is] with you all! Amen.
