ತಿಮೊಥೆಯನಿಗೆ ಬರೆದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ 1

1 ೧ ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಕನಾದ ದೇವರ ನಮ್ಮ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಆಧಾರನಾಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನಾದ ಪೌಲನು

Paul an apostle (of [the] Lord *O) Christ Jesus according to [the] command of God [the] Savior of us and (Lord *K) Christ Jesus the hope of us

2 ೨ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜಕುಮಾರನಾಗಿರುವ ತಿಮೊಥೆಯನಿಗೆ ಬರೆಯುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ಕರುಣೆಯೂ ಶಾಂತಿಯೂ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿ.

To Timothy [my] true child in [the] faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace from God [the] Father (of us *K) and Christ Jesus the Lord of us.

3 ೩ ನಾನು ಮಕೆದೋನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ನೀನು ಎಫೆಸದಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ, ನೀವು ಬೇರೆ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಾರದೆಂತಲೂ,

even as I urged you to remain in Ephesus [when] I was going to Macedonia so that you may warn certain men not to teach other doctrines

4 ೪ ಕಲ್ಪಿತಕಥೆಗಳಿಗೂ, ಕೊನೆಮೊದಲಿಲ್ಲದ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಕೊಡಬಾರದೆಂತಲೂ, ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದಾಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಈಗಲೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದೇನೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಕಥೆಗಳೂ, ವಂಶಾವಳಿಗಳೂ ವಿವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಡೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ದೇವರ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

nor to give heed to myths and to genealogies endless, which (speculations *N+kO) bring rather than stewardship of God which [is] in faith.

5 ೫ ಶುದ್ಧಹೃದಯ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ, ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕವಾದ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಎಂಬಿವುಗಳಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೇ ದೇವಾಜ್ಞೆಯ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

And the goal of [our] instruction is love out of a pure heart and a conscience good and a faith sincere,

6 ೬ ಕೆಲವರು ಈ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದ ವಿಚಾರಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

from which some having missed the mark they have turned aside to meaningless discourse

7 ೭ ಅವರು ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕರಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ತಾವು ಹೇಳುವುದಾಗಲಿ, ತಾವು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಲಿ ಇಂಥದೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯದವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

desiring to be teachers of the Law, not understanding neither what they are saying nor [that] about which they confidently assert.

8 ೮ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೆಂದು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಅದರ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕು.

We know now that good [is] the law if one it lawfully shall use,

9 ೯ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ನೀತಿವಂತರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಾರರು, ಅವಿಧೇಯರು, ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನರು, ಪಾಪಿಷ್ಠರು, ಅಪವಿತ್ರರು, ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕರು, ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವರು, ನರಹತ್ಯಮಾಡುವವರು,

knowing this, that for a righteous [one] law not is enacted, for [the] lawless however and insubordinate, for [the] ungodly and sinful, for [the] unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for slayers of man,

10 ೧೦ ಜಾರರು, ಸಲಿಂಗಕಾಮಿಗಳು, ನರಚೋರರು, ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರರು, ಅಸತ್ಯವಾದಿಗಳು, ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಬೋಧನೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರು, ಈ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಅನೀತಿವಂತರಿಗಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ.

for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for enslavers, for liars, for perjurers, and if anything other which to sound teaching is opposed

11 ೧೧ ಈ ಬೋಧನೆಯು ಭಾಗ್ಯವಂತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ಸೇವೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, with which was entrusted I myself.

12 ೧೨ ನನಗೆ ಬಲವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದವನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೇ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಮೊದಲು ದೂಷಕನೂ, ಹಿಂಸಕನೂ, ಕೇಡುಮಾಡುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆತನು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಅಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಅಪನಂಬಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ರೀತಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕರುಣೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು;

(and *k) Thankfulness I have for the [One] having strengthened me for Christ Jesus the Lord of us that faithful me He esteemed having appointed [me] to service,

formerly being a blasphemer and a persecutor and insolent; but I was shown mercy, because being ignorant I did [it] in unbelief;

14 ೧೪ ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಕ್ಕಿಸಿತ್ತು.

Surpassingly increased then the grace of the Lord of us with [the] faith and love that [are] in Christ Jesus.

15 ೧೫ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತಯೇಸು ಪಾಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಈ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು ಎಂಬ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನಂಬತಕ್ಕದ್ದಾಗಿಯೂ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗೀಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದದ್ದಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದೆ, ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನೇ ಪ್ರಮುಖನು.

Trustworthy [is] the saying and of full acceptance worthy that Christ Jesus came into the world sinners to save, of whom [the] foremost am I myself;

16 ೧೬ ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡುವವರಿಗೆ, ತನ್ನ ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತಿಯ ದೃಷ್ಟಾಂತವಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವು ಪಾಪಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖನಾಗಿದ್ದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣ ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದನು. (aiōnios g166)

But because of this I was shown mercy, that in me myself [the] foremost may display Christ Jesus ([his] perfect *N+KO) patience as a pattern for those being about to believe on Him to life eternal. (aiōnios g166)

17 ೧೭ ಸರ್ವಯುಗಗಳ ಅರಸನೂ, ಅಮರನೂ, ಅದೃಶ್ಯನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಏಕ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಘನವೂ ಮಹಿಮೆಯೂ ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರಲಿ. ಆಮೆನ್. (aiōn g165)

now to the King of the ages, [the] immortal invisible only (wise *K) God, [be] honor and glory to the ages of the ages, Amen. (aiōn g165)

18 ೧೮ ಮಗನಾದ ತಿಮೊಥೆಯನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಉಂಟಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ನೀನು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ಧೈರ್ಯಹೊಂದಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

This charge I commit to you, [my] child Timothy, according to the going before as to you prophecies, that (you may war *NK+o) by them the good warfare

19 ೧೯ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನೂ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರು. ಕೆಲವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಡಗು ಒಡೆದು, ನಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟವರಂತೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.

holding faith and a good conscience, which some having cast away concerning the faith caused a shipwreck,

20 ೨೦ ಹುಮೆನಾಯನೂ ಅಲೆಕ್ಸಾಂದರನೂ ಇಂಥವರೇ. ಇವರು ದೇವದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಬಾರದೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಕಲಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಇವರನ್ನು ಸೈತಾನನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.

among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander whom I have handed over to Satan that they may be disciplined not to blaspheme.
