ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಭಾಗ 16

1 ೧ ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತಂದು ದಾವೀದನು ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ದೇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

So they brought in the Arke of God, and set it in the middes of the Tabernacle that Dauid had pitched for it, and they offred burnt offrings and peace offrings before God.

2 ೨ ಆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳು, ಹೋಮಗಳು ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯಾದ ನಂತರ ದಾವೀದನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು.

And when Dauid had made an ende of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, hee blessed the people in the Name of the Lord.

3 ೩ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷ ಹಾಗು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೂ ಒಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಒಂದು ತುಂಡು ಬೇಯಿಸಿದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಒಂದು ಗೊಂಚಲನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಿಸಿದನು.

And he dealt to euery one of Israel both man and woman, to euery one a cake of breade, and a piece of flesh, and a bottel of wine.

4 ೪ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ದೇವರಾಧನೆ ನಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದಾವೀದನು ಕೆಲವು ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವುದೂ, ಹಾಡಿ ಹರಸುವುದೂ ಅವರ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

And he appointed certaine of the Leuites to minister before the Arke of the Lord, and to rehearse and to thanke and prayse the Lord God of Israel:

5 ೫ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಾಫನು ಪ್ರಧಾನನು. ಜೆಕರ್ಯನು ಎರಡನೆಯವನು. ಯೆಗೀಯೇಲ್, ಶೆಮೀರಾಮೋತ್, ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲ್, ಮತ್ತಿತ್ಯ, ಎಲೀಯಾಬ್, ಬೆನಾಯ, ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮ್, ಯೆಗೀಯೇಲ್ ಇವರು ಸ್ವರಮಂಡಲ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿಸುವವರು, ಆಸಾಫನು ಕೈತಾಳ ಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Asaph the chiefe, and next to him Zechariah, Ieiel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed Edom, euen Ieiel with instruments, violes and harpes, and Asaph to make a sound with cymbales,

6 ೬ ಬೆನಾಯ, ಯೆಹಜೀಯೇಲ್ ಎಂಬ ಯಾಜಕರು ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ತುತ್ತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಊದುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದರು.

And Benaiah and Iahaziel Priestes, with trumpets continually before the Arke of the couenant of God.

7 ೭ ದಾವೀದನು ಆಸಾಫನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಹಾಡಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ;

Then at that time Dauid did appoint at the beginning to giue thankes to the Lord by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

8 ೮ “ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಆತನ ನಾಮದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿರಿ. ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.

Praise the Lord and call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people.

9 ೯ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ, ಭಜಿಸಿರಿ; ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಿರಿ.

Sing vnto him, sing praise vnto him, and talke of all his wonderfull workes.

10 ೧೦ ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿರಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಕೋರುವವರ ಹೃದಯವು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸಲಿ.

Reioyce in his holy Name: let the hearts of them that seeke the Lord reioyce.

11 ೧೧ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿರಿ; ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಆತನ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ.

Seeke the Lord and his strength: seeke his face continually.

12 ೧೨ ಆತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೇ, ಆತನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ವಂಶದವರೇ, ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು,

Remember his marueilous workes that he hath done, his wonders, and the iudgements of his mouth,

13 ೧೩ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು, ನ್ಯಾಯ ನಿರ್ಣಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿರಿ.

O seede of Israel his seruant, O the children of Iaakob his chosen.

14 ೧೪ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬಾತನು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು, ಆತನ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಧಿಗಳು ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇವೆ.

He is the Lord our God: his iudgements are throughout all the earth.

15 ೧೫ ಆತನು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ತಲೆಮಾರಿನವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

Remember his couenant for euer, and the worde, which hee commanded to a thousand generations:

16 ೧೬ ಆತನು ಆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು ಮತ್ತು ಇಸಾಕನಿಗಾಗಿ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದನು.

Which he made with Abraham, and his othe to Izhak:

17 ೧೭ ಅದು ರಾಜಶಾಸನದಂತಿರುವುದು ಎಂದು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದೆಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೂ ಮಾತುಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

And hath confirmed it to Iaakob for a Law, and to Israel for an euerlasting couenant,

18 ೧೮ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಹು ಜನರು ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳು ಆಗಿರುವಾಗಲೇ

Saying, To thee will I giue the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.

19 ೧೯ ಆತನು, ‘ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿರುವುದು’ ಎಂದು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

When ye were fewe in number, yea, a very fewe, and strangers therein,

20 ೨೦ ಅವರು ದೇಶದಿಂದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ

And walked about from nation to nation, and from one kingdome to another people,

21 ೨೧ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಲಿ, ಅಪಾಯವಾಗಲಿ ಆಗಲು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆತನು ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ,

He suffered no man to do them wrong, but rebuked Kings for their sakes, saying,

22 ೨೨ ‘ನಾನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದವರನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಾರದು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

Touch not mine anoynted, and doe my Prophets no harme.

23 ೨೩ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿರಿ. ಆತನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಸಾರಿಹೇಳಿರಿ.

Sing vnto the Lord all the earth: declare his saluation from day to day.

24 ೨೪ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.

Declare his glory among the nations, and his wonderful workes among all people.

25 ೨೫ ಯೆಹೋವನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನು, ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರನು ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನೇ ಅದ್ಭುತನಾದವನು.

For the Lord is great and much to be praised, and hee is to bee feared aboue all gods.

26 ೨೬ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೇವತೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬರೀ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳೇ. ಯೆಹೋವನಾದರೋ ಗಗನಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದವನು.

For all the gods of the people are idoles, but the Lord made the heauens.

27 ೨೭ ಆತನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನ ಮಹಿಮೆಗಳು ಆತನ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಮೆ, ಸ್ತುತಿಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳು, ಸಂತೋಷಗಳೂ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.

Prayse and glory are before him: power and beautie are in his place.

28 ೨೮ ಭೂಜನಾಂಗಗಳೇ, ಬಲಪ್ರಭಾವಗಳು ಯೆಹೋವನವೇ ಯೆಹೋವನವೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.

Giue vnto the Lord, ye families of the people: giue vnto the Lord glory and power.

29 ೨೯ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಘನವನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರಿ. ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಸಹಿತ ಆತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ. ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತ್ವವೆಂಬ ಭೂಷಣದೊಡನೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿರಿ.

Giue vnto the Lord ye glory of his Name: bring an offring and come before him, and worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie.

30 ೩೦ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗವೆರಗಿ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿರಿ. ಭೂಮಿಯು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವುದು, ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,

Tremble ye before him, al the earth: surely the world shalbe stable and not moue.

31 ೩೧ ಗಗನಮಂಡಲವು ಹರ್ಷಿಸಲಿ; ಭೂಲೋಕವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನು ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.

Let the heauens reioyce, and let the earth be glad, and let them say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.

32 ೩೨ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವನೆಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಮುದ್ರವೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವುದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಘೋಷಿಸಲಿ.

Let the sea roare, and all that therein is: Let the field be ioyfull and all that is in it.

33 ೩೩ ಹೊಲಗಳೂ, ಅವುಗಳ ಪೈರುಗಳೂ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಲಿ; ಮತ್ತು ವನದ ಮರಗಳು ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ.

Let the trees of the wood then reioyce at the presence of the Lord: for he commeth to iudge the earth.

34 ೩೪ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು; ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.

Prayse the Lord, for hee is good, for his mercie endureth for euer.

35 ೩೫ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯಕನಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದುರಿಹೋಗಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸು; ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆವು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಪಡುವೆವು ಅನ್ನಿರಿ.

And say ye, Saue vs, O God, our saluation, and gather vs, and deliuer vs from the heathen, that we may prayse thine holy Name, and glorie in thy praise.

36 ೩೬ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಟವಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹಾಡಿದಾಗ ಸರ್ವಜನರೂ ಆಮೆನ್ ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿದರು.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for euer and euer: and let all people say, So be it, and praise the Lord.

37 ೩೭ ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಆರಾಧನೆ ನಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸಾಫನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನೂ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ,

Then he left there before the Arke of the Lordes couenant Asaph and his brethren to minister continually before the Arke, that which was to be done euery day:

38 ೩೮ ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹೋಸ ಇವರನ್ನು, ಅವರ ಆರುವತ್ತೆಂಟು ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.

And Obed Edom and his brethren, three score and eight: and Obed Edom the sonne of Ieduthun, and Hosah were porters.

39 ೩೯ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಚಾದೋಕನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನೂ ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.

And Zadok the Priest and his brethren the Priestes were before the Tabernacle of ye Lord, in the hie place that was at Gibeon,

40 ೪೦ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಪ್ರಾತಃಕಾಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ವಿಧಿತವಾದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.

To offer burnt offrings vnto the Lord, vpon the burnt offring altar continually, in the morning and in the euening, euen according vnto all that is written in the law of the Lord, which hee commanded Israel.

41 ೪೧ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು, ಆತನ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಕೃಪೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಮಾನ್, ಯೆದುತೂನ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬೇರೆ ಜನರೂ ಇದ್ದರು.

And with them were Heman, and Ieduthun, and the rest that were chosen (which were appointed by names) to praise the Lord, because his mercie endureth for euer.

42 ೪೨ ಹೇಮಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆದುತೂನರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ವಾದ್ಯಗಾರರಿಗಾಗಿ ತುತ್ತೂರಿ, ತಾಳ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳೂ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವಕೀರ್ತನಾ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Euen with them were Heman and Ioduthun, to make a sound with the cornets and with the cymbales, with excellent instruments of musicke: and the sonnes of Ieduthun were at the gate.

43 ೪೩ ತರುವಾಯ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು.

And all the people departed, euerie man to his house: and Dauid returned to blesse his house.
