1 Hagi Tiofolisiga, korapara rama'a vahe'mo'za zamazanu kre'za eritru hute'za, Anumzamo tagripi erifore hu'nea zamofo nanekea kre'naze.
Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
2 Ese agafare'ma Ramofo eri'za e'neri'za zamavunuma ke'naza vahe'mo'za, anama ke'nazaza krente'naza hunerasamizageta, ama ana naneke krente'none.
Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
3 Ana hu'negu ese agafare'ma fore'ma hige'za krente'naza zana, rezagane so'e hu'na kogeno knaretfa hunantege'na, anama hu'nea kante ante'na, knare ne'moka Tiofolisiga krenegamue.
It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,
4 E'i anazanku koma rempima hugamigenka antahinana tamage nanekea, nentahinka tamage huogu nehue.
That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.
5 Hagi Herotima kinima Judia kaziga mani'nea knafina, mago pristi nera Zekaraia'e nehia nera, Abaiza nagapinti ne' mani'ne. Hagi nenaro agi'a Elisabeti'e, Aroni nagapinti efore hu'ne.
There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judæa, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.

And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before God in the order of his course,

According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.
10 Hagi rama'a vahe'mo'za fegi'a ra mono no agu'afi manine'za, ana gnamofo agu'afina (hour) nunamu nehazageno agu'afina mananentake'zana Kresramana vu erizana eri'naze.
And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
11 Magora Ramofo ankeromo kre sramnavu tra'mofona tmaga kaziga efore huno oti'ne.
And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
12 Ana'ma higeno'a Zekaraiama ankeroma negeno'a, antri nehuno koro hu'ne.
And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
13 Hianagi ankeromo'a anage huno hu'ne, Zekaraiaga korora osuo, na'ankure nunamunka'a Anumzamo'a antahi'neankino, neganaro Elisabeti'a mago ne'mofavre kasentegahie. Agi'a Joni'e hunka antemigahane.
But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.
16 Ana mofavremo'a hakare Israeli vahe'mokizmi zamazeri rukrahe hinke'za, Rana Anumzazimire egahaze.
And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
17 Ana nehuno agra Ramofona ugota huno nevuno, Elaija'ma eri'neankna hanavene avamu'ene enerino, afahemokizmia zamagu'a zamazeri rukrehe hina mofavrezmire ne-enageno keontahi vahe'mokizamia zamazeri rukrehe hinke'za kentahi vahe manisaza zamo'a, Ramo'ma esiazamofonka retro huntegahie. (Mal 4:5-6.)
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
18 Hanki Zekaraia anage huno ankeromofona asami'ne, nankna hanige'na nagra kena antahi'na hugahue? Nagra ozafa rogeno, a'nimo'a anahukna huno tavavate'ne higeno,
And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.

And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.

And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.

And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.

And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.

And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.
24 Hagi mago'agna evigeno, Elisabeti'a amu'ene huno mani frakino mani'negeno, 5fu'a ika enevigeno, amanage huno hu'ne.
And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,

Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
28 Ana ankeromo'a Mariante ehanatino anage hu'ne, Knare kne Mariaga, Anumzamo'ma avesigantenemoka, Ramo'a kagrane mani'ne.
And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29 Hianagi ana mofa'mo'a, ana musenkema nentahino'a, antahintahi hakare nehuno, ama kea nankna agu'agesa me'nea musenke nehie huno hu'ne.
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30 Ana higeno ankeromo'a ana mofamofonkura anage hu'ne, Korora osuo Mariaga, na'ankure Anumzamo'a kagrira antahi muse hunegante.
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 Hanki kama antahio, kagra kamu'ene hunka ne'mofavre kasentenka agi'a, Jisasi'e hunka antegahane.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32 Ana mofavremo'a ra vahe fore nehinke'za vahe'mo'za, Marerisa Anumzamofo Mofavre nehnageno, negeho Deviti kini trara, Anumzamo'a eri aminigeno kini manigahie.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 Agra, Jekopu nagate kegava huzmante vava nehinkeno, kini eri'zama'amo ene Agrama kegava hania kumamo'a mevava hugahie. (aiōn g165)
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. (aiōn g165)
34 Maria'a anage huno ankeromofo asami'ne, Nagra venena omase'noanki inankna huno fore huku higenka nehane?
Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 Higeno ankeromo'a kenona'a anage huno asami'ne, Ruotge Avamumo kagrite ne-enkenka, Marerisa Anumzamofo hihamu'amo refitegantegahie. E'ina hu'negu ksentesana Mofavremo'a ruotge hanigeno, Anumzamofo mofavre hu'za hugahaze.
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
36 Hanki ko, negamomo Elizabeti'a anahukna huno tavava'tefinka amu'ene hu'ne. Naravo a' manino mofavre onte are hu'nazanagi, menina amu'ene higeno' 6si'a ika agatere'ne.
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
37 Na'ankure Anumzamofontera mago'zamo'e huno amuho osugahie.
For no word spoken by God shall be void of power.
38 Higeno Mari'a anage hu'ne, Izo nagra Ramofo kazokzo eri'za a' mani'noe. Hagi atregeno kema hanankante efore hino, higeno ankeromo'a atreno vu'ne.
And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Judah;
40 Zekaraia nompi umarerino, knare kne huno Elisabetina humuse huntene.
And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
41 Maria'ma knare kne huntea kema, Elisabeti'ma nentahigeno'a, rimpafi mani'nea mofavremo'a muse nehuno, haru huno marerigeno Ruotage Avamumo'a Elisabetina agu'afi frevite'ne.
And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
42 Ana higeno ana amo'a ranke huno, Maka a'nemofo asomura agatereno kagrira rama'a asomu Anumzamo'a huneganteno, karimpafima mani'nea mofavrea asomu huntene!
And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
43 Nagra iza'na mani'nogeno Ranimofo nerera'a, eno eme nage.
And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 Hanki antahio, kagra humuse hunka, anama knare kne hunka nehankena nentahugeno'a, narimpafi mani'nea mofavremo'a haru huno marenerino muse hu'ne.
For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
45 Hagi Ramo'ma hu'nea kemofo kamentinti hanku, asomu hunegantena, anama hu'nea kemo'a, kagripi avufa'a efore hugahie.
And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
46 Maria'a amanage hu'ne, Nagu'amo'a Ramofo ragi amigeno,
And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 nagri avamunimo'a naguvazi Anumzamofo agafa huno muse huntene.
And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 Na'ankure Agra anteramina kazokzo eriza vahe'ama mani'noana navu'navara nage'ne. Menima agafa huno vaniana maka vahe'mo'za Anumzamo'a asomu hunte'ne hu'za hugahaze.
For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 Na'ankure Hihamu'ane Anumzamo'a raza hunante'ne, Agri agi'a ruotage hu'nemo'e.
For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
50 Izazo Agriku koro hunentaza mokizmia Agra asuragizmanteno zamaza nehuno, zamagripinti efore hunante anante hanamokizmia anazanke huzmantegahie.
And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
51 Ramo'a hanavenentake avu'avaza azanura eri fore nehuno, antahintahizmifima zamagima eri'za mareneri'za vahera zamahe panani hu'ne.
He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 Agra hanave kini vahera, kini tratetira zamazuhu fenkama netreno, anteramiza nemaniza vahera ana kini trate zamavare ante'ne.
He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
53 Zamagaku haza vahera, knare'zanu erivite'nezmanteno, fenomo avite'nea vahera, zamaza zamavapa huzmantege'za nevaze.
He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
54 Agra eri'za vahe'a Israeli vahe zamaza nehuno, asunku huzmantegahue huno huvempa hu'nea kegura agera nokanie.
He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
55 Tahi'mofo koma mevava huvempa ke Abrahanku asamino, agehemo'ma fore hunante fore hunante knane knane hu'noma esia vahe zamaza huku hunte'ne. (aiōn g165)
As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever. (aiōn g165)
56 Maria'a anage huno Elisabetina asamiteno, 3'a ika agranena maniteno noma'arega vu'ne.
And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house.
57 Hagi Elisabeti'a mofavre kasentesia kna egeno, ne' mofavre kasente'ne.
Now Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.

And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
59 Hagi 8 knazupa Mosese kasegemo'ma hu'nea kante ante'za avufa taga huku e'za, nefa agire Zekaraia'e huta agi'a asamresune hu'za hu'naze.
And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.
60 Hianagi nerera'a kenona huno, Ama mofavre'mofo agi'a Joni'e huta antegahune higeno,
And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.

And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.

And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.

And he asked for a writing tablet, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.
64 ame huno Zekaraia agimo'a aka higeno, agefunamo'a agafa huno eri'za erigeno, Anumzamofo agi erisaga hu'ne.
And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.
65 Hagi ana higeno, anama megagi'nea kumate maka vahe'mokizimi tusi zamagogo nefege'za, maka Judia agona kumatega ana agenkea hugantugma hu'naze.
And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judæa.
66 Maka ana nanekema antahizamo'za zamagu'afi netre'za, anage hu'naze. Henka ama mofavremo'a nankna vahe manigahie? Na'ankure Anumzamofo hanavemo'a agrane me'ne.
And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.
67 Hagi nefa, Zekeraiana Ruotge Avamumo agu'afi frevitegeno, amanage huno kasnampa kea hu'ne,
And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
68 Israeli vahe'mofo Rana, ra agi amisune. Agra'a vahe'a zamaza huno zamagu'vazinaku e'ne.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69 Tagri Anumzamo'a, Agri eri'za vahe'a Deviti nagapinti hankavenentake ne' kefozampinti tahokeno taza hania ne' neramie.
And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
70 Korapara Ramo'a ruotage kasnampa vahe'mofo zamagipi huvazino kea hu'ne. (aiōn g165)
As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: (aiōn g165)
71 Menina ha' vahetimofo azampinti taza nehuno, maka antahi haviza hurantesaza vahepintira taza hugahie.
That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
72 Amazama hiana tagehe'i asunku hunezmanteno, korapa ruotge hunea huhagerafino huvempage huno zamasmi'nea hanave kasegegu, agesa nentahino eriama nehie.
To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
73 Huvempa huhagerafi kema neregeho Abrahanku huntene.
The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
74 Ha' vahe'mofo zamazampintira tagu'vazinketa, koro osu manineta eri'zama'a erintegahune.
That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
75 Mani ruotge nehuta, fatgo avu'ava huta tasimuma erita manisuna kna'afina Agri avurera hakare gna manivava hugahune.
In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
76 Hagi kagra ama mofavre'moka, Marerisa Anumzamofo kasnampa vahere hugahaze. Na'ankure kagra Ramofona vugotenka Agri kana retro huntegahane.
And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
77 Kagra, Agri vahera Anumzamo'ma zamaguma vazino kumizimi eri apasezmante'nia kea zmasami'sanke'za, zamasunku hanageno zamagu'vazigahie. Agra monafi masa huntenigeno eme remsha hugahie.
To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
78 Na'ankure Anumzamo'a avesiranteno fru avu'ava'ma hurantea zamo'a, nanterama zagemo monafinti hanatino remsa hiankna huno remsa hurantegahie.
Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
79 Zamagrama hanimpi manine'za frizamofo turinapi mani'namokizmia masa nezamino, tagrira tazeri fatgo huno rimpa fru kante tavereno vugahie.
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
80 Joni'ma ra huno avamupima hanavetiteno, ka'ma mopafi vuno umani'negeno, kna'a egeno Israeli vahepina eama hu'ne.
And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.
