Zeremaia 14

1 Hagi Juda mopafima ko'ma origeno maka zamo'ma hagege hianknafina Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno anazankura Jeremaia'na nasami'ne.

The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the dearth.

2 Juda vahe'mo'za tusi zavi krafa nehazage'za, ranra kumapima kuma kafama erigi'zama mani'naza vahera zaferina zamia omane amane nehie. Judah mourns, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.

And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads.

And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass.

O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do you it for your name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against you.

O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why should you be as a stranger in the land, and as a travelling man that turns aside to tarry for a night?

Why should you be as a man astonished, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet you, O LORD, are in the midst of us, and we are called by your name; leave us not.

10 Anante Ra Anumzamo'a ana vahekura amanage hu'ne. Tamagra Nagri'ma natreta afete'ma mani'zankuke tamavenesigeta, akoheta mani so'ea nosaze. E'ina hu'negu Nagri vahe mani'naze hu'na antahi noramue. Nagra menina havi avu'ava zama hu'naza zanku nagesa nentahi'na, knazana tami'na tamazeri havizana hugahue.

Thus says the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD does not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.

11 Anante Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno nasami'ne, Jeremaiaga ama vahe'ma knare hu'za manisazegura Nagritega nunamuna osuo.

Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for their good.

When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, All of you shall not see the sword, neither shall all of you have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.

Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spoke unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their heart.

Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

16 Hagi ana kasnampa kema nehazage'zama antahi'naza vahe'enena hapinti'ene zamagatonto zamo'ene zamahe frigahie. And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.

Therefore you shall say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.

18 Hagi nagrama vu'na kuma'mofo fegi'ama ome kesuana, hapinti'ma zamahe fri'nesaza vahe zamavufaga ome kegahue. Hagi rankumamofo agu'afima ufresuana ne'zanku hu'za fri'nesaza vahe zamavufaga ome kegahue. Hagi pristi vahe'ene kasnampa vahe'mo'zanena ke'za antahiza osu'naza moparega vu'naze.

If I go forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not.

19 Ra Anumzamoka tamagerafa hunka Juda vahera hago kamagena huzami'nampi? Hagi Saioni kumara hago kavesra huntenka kagote'nentampi? Kagra nahigenka tazeri haviza hutenka zazatera tatranketa tatafina mani'nonkeno anazamo'a amera huno vagarenorante? Tagra tarimpa frune manisanumpi huta muhara hunanagi, mago knare'zana ome'ne. Tagrama kanamaresuna knagu muhara huta avega antonanagi, tusi koro zampinke mani'none.

Have you utterly rejected Judah? has your soul loathed Zion? why have you smitten us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!

20 Hagi Ra Anumzamoka tagehe'zama hu'naza kumiku'ene tagrama hu'nona kumikura hago kagri kavufi kumi hu'none huta huama hune.

We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against you.

21 Hagi Ra Anumzamoka Kagraka'a rankagimofo knare zanku kagesa nentahinka, kamefira huoramio. Ana nehunka masanentake kini traka'a eri ante fenkamia otro. Tagranema huhagerafi huvempa kema hu'nana kegura kagesa nentahinka ruha'ontagio.

Do not detest us, for your name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of your glory: remember, break not your covenant with us.

22 Hagi ru vahe'mokizmia kaza osu havi anumzaramimo'za kokura hanageno kora rugahifi? Monafintira agra'a avesitera kora rugahifi? I'o, Ra Anumzana tagri Anumzamoka Kagrake'za nehankeno kora nerie. E'ina hu'negeta kagrama taza hananku muhara nehuta kavega nentone. Na'ankure ama ana maka zana kagrake hankeno fore nehie.

Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? are not you he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon you: for you have made all these things.
