マタイの福音書 28
1 さて、安息日が終わって、週の初めの日の明け方、マグダラのマリヤと、ほかのマリヤが墓を見に来た。
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the tomb.
2 すると、大きな地震が起こった。それは、主の使いが天から降りて来て、石をわきへころがして、その上にすわったからである。
And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 その顔は、いなずまのように輝き、その衣は雪のように白かった。
His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 番兵たちは、御使いを見て恐ろしさのあまり震え上がり、死人のようになった。
And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 すると、御使いは女たちに言った。「恐れてはいけません。あなたがたが十字架につけられたイエスを捜しているのを、私は知っています。
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not all of you: for I know that all of you seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 ここにはおられません。前から言っておられたように、よみがえられたからです。来て、納めてあった場所を見てごらんなさい。
He is not here: for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 ですから急いで行って、お弟子たちにこのことを知らせなさい。イエスが死人の中からよみがえられたこと、そして、あなたがたより先にガリラヤに行かれ、あなたがたは、そこで、お会いできるということです。では、これだけはお伝えしました。」
And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead; and, behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there shall all of you see him: lo, I have told you.
8 そこで、彼女たちは、恐ろしくはあったが大喜びで、急いで墓を離れ、弟子たちに知らせに走って行った。
And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 すると、イエスが彼女たちに出会って、「おはよう。」と言われた。彼女たちは近寄って御足を抱いてイエスを拝んだ。
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 すると、イエスは言われた。「恐れてはいけません。行って、わたしの兄弟たちに、ガリラヤに行くように言いなさい。そこでわたしに会えるのです。」
Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 女たちが行き着かないうちに、もう、数人の番兵が都に来て、起こった事を全部、祭司長たちに報告した。
Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and showed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
12 そこで、祭司長たちは民の長老たちとともに集まって協議し、兵士たちに多額の金を与えて、
And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
13 こう言った。「『夜、私たちが眠っている間に、弟子たちがやって来て、イエスを盗んで行った。』と言うのだ。
Saying, Say all of you, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14 もし、このことが総督の耳にはいっても、私たちがうまく説得して、あなたがたには心配をかけないようにするから。」
And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
15 そこで、彼らは金をもらって、指図されたとおりにした。それで、この話が広くユダヤ人の間に広まって今日に及んでいる。
So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying (logos) is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
16 しかし、十一人の弟子たちは、ガリラヤに行って、イエスの指示された山に登った。
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 そして、イエスにお会いしたとき、彼らは礼拝した。しかし、ある者は疑った。
And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 イエスは近づいて来て、彼らにこう言われた。「わたしには天においても、地においても、いっさいの権威が与えられています。
And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 それゆえ、あなたがたは行って、あらゆる国の人々を弟子としなさい。そして、父、子、聖霊の御名によってバプテスマを授け、
Go all of you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: (pneuma)
