マルコの福音書 2
1 数日たって、イエスがカペナウムにまた来られると、家におられることが知れ渡った。
And again he entered into Capernaum, after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.
2 それで多くの人が集まったため、戸口のところまですきまもないほどになった。この人たちに、イエスはみことばを話しておられた。
And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
3 そのとき、ひとりの中風の人が四人の人にかつがれて、みもとに連れて来られた。
And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
4 群衆のためにイエスに近づくことができなかったので、その人々はイエスのおられるあたりの屋根をはがし、穴をあけて、中風の人を寝かせたままその床をつり降ろした。
And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
5 イエスは彼らの信仰を見て、中風の人に、「子よ。あなたの罪は赦されました。」と言われた。
When Yahushua saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
6 ところが、その場に律法学者が数人すわっていて、心の中で理屈を言った。
But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
7 「この人は、なぜ、あんなことを言うのか。神をけがしているのだ。神おひとりのほか、だれが罪を赦すことができよう。」
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but Elohim only?
8 彼らが心の中でこのように理屈を言っているのを、イエスはすぐにご自分の霊で見抜いて、こう言われた。「なぜ、あなたがたは心の中でそんな理屈を言っているのか。
And immediately when Yahushua perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
9 中風の人に、『あなたの罪は赦された。』と言うのと、『起きて、寝床をたたんで歩け。』と言うのと、どちらがやさしいか。
Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
10 人の子が地上で罪を赦す権威を持っていることを、あなたがたに知らせるために。」こう言ってから、中風の人に、
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy, )
11 「あなたに言う。起きなさい。寝床をたたんで、家に帰りなさい。」と言われた。
I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
12 すると彼は起き上がり、すぐに床を取り上げて、みなの見ている前を出て行った。それでみなの者がすっかり驚いて、「こういうことは、かつて見たことがない。」と言って神をあがめた。
And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified YHWH, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
13 イエスはまた湖のほとりに出て行かれた。すると群衆がみな、みもとにやって来たので、彼らに教えられた。
And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.
14 イエスは、道を通りながら、アルパヨの子レビが収税所にすわっているのをご覧になって、「わたしについて来なさい。」と言われた。すると彼は立ち上がって従った。
And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
15 それから、イエスは、彼の家で食卓に着かれた。取税人や罪人たちも大ぜい、イエスや弟子たちといっしょに食卓に着いていた。こういう人たちが大ぜいいて、イエスに従っていたのである。
And it came to pass, that, as Yahushua sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Yahushua and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.
16 パリサイ派の律法学者たちは、イエスが罪人や取税人たちといっしょに食事をしておられるのを見て、イエスの弟子たちにこう言った。「なぜ、あの人は取税人や罪人たちといっしょに食事をするのですか。」
And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?
17 イエスはこれを聞いて、彼らにこう言われた。「医者を必要とするのは丈夫な者ではなく、病人です。わたしは正しい人を招くためではなく、罪人を招くために来たのです。」
When Yahushua heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
18 ヨハネの弟子たちとパリサイ人たちは断食をしていた。そして、イエスのもとに来て言った。「ヨハネの弟子たちやパリサイ人の弟子たちは断食するのに、あなたの弟子たちはなぜ断食しないのですか。」
And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
19 イエスは彼らに言われた。「花婿が自分たちといっしょにいる間、花婿につき添う友だちが断食できるでしょうか。花婿といっしょにいる時は、断食できないのです。
And Yahushua said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
20 しかし、花婿が彼らから取り去られる時が来ます。その日には断食します。
But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
21 だれも、真新しい布切れで古い着物の継ぎをするようなことはしません。そんなことをすれば、新しい継ぎ切れは古い着物を引き裂き、破れはもっとひどくなります。
No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.
22 また、だれも新しいぶどう酒を古い皮袋に入れるようなことはしません。そんなことをすれば、ぶどう酒は皮袋を張り裂き、ぶどう酒も皮袋もだめになってしまいます。新しいぶどう酒は新しい皮袋に入れるのです。」
And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
23 ある安息日のこと、イエスは麦畑の中を通って行かれた。すると、弟子たちが道々穂を摘み始めた。
And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the Sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
24 すると、パリサイ人たちがイエスに言った。「ご覧なさい。なぜ彼らは、安息日なのに、してはならないことをするのですか。」
And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the Sabbath day that which is not lawful?
25 イエスは彼らに言われた。「ダビデとその連れの者たちが、食物がなくてひもじかったとき、ダビデが何をしたか、読まなかったのですか。
And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
26 アビヤタルが大祭司のころ、ダビデは神の家にはいって、祭司以外の者が食べてはならない供えのパンを、自分も食べ、またともにいた者たちにも与えたではありませんか。」
How he went into the house of YHWH in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
27 また言われた。「安息日は人間のために設けられたのです。人間が安息日のために造られたのではありません。
And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:
28 人の子は安息日にも主です。」
Therefore the Son of man is master also of the Sabbath.
