マルコの福音書 1
1 神の子イエス・キリストの福音のはじめ。
Beginning of the glad tidings of Jesus Christ, Son of God;
2 預言者イザヤの書にこう書いてある。 「見よ。わたしは使いをあなたの前に遣わし、 あなたの道を整えさせよう。
as it is written in [Isaiah] the prophet, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way.
3 荒野で叫ぶ者の声がする。 『主の道を用意し、主の通られる道をまっすぐにせよ。』」 そのとおりに、
Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of [the] Lord, make his paths straight.
4 バプテスマのヨハネが荒野に現われて、罪が赦されるための悔い改めのバプテスマを説いた。
There came John baptising in the wilderness, and preaching [the] baptism of repentance for remission of sins.
5 そこでユダヤ全国の人々とエルサレムの全住民が彼のところへ行き、自分の罪を告白して、ヨルダン川で彼からバプテスマを受けていた。
And there went out to him all the district of Judaea, and all they of Jerusalem, and were baptised by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
6 ヨハネは、らくだの毛で織った物を着て、腰に皮の帯を締め、いなごと野蜜を食べていた。
And John was clothed in camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins, and ate locusts and wild honey.
7 彼は宣べ伝えて言った。「私よりもさらに力のある方が、あとからおいでになります。私には、かがんでその方のくつのひもを解く値うちもありません。
And he preached, saying, There comes he that is mightier than I after me, the thong of whose sandals I am not fit to stoop down and unloose.
8 私はあなたがたに水でバプテスマを授けましたが、その方は、あなたがたに聖霊のバプテスマをお授けになります。」
I indeed have baptised you with water, but he shall baptise you with [the] Holy Spirit.
9 そのころ、イエスはガリラヤのナザレから来られ、ヨルダン川で、ヨハネからバプテスマをお受けになった。
And it came to pass in those days [that] Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptised by John at the Jordan.
10 そして、水の中から上がられると、すぐそのとき、天が裂けて御霊が鳩のように自分の上に下られるのを、ご覧になった。
And straightway going up from the water, he saw the heavens parting asunder, and the Spirit, as a dove, descending upon him.
11 そして天から声がした。「あなたは、わたしの愛する子、わたしはあなたを喜ぶ。」
And there came a voice out of the heavens: Thou art my beloved Son, in thee I have found my delight.
12 そしてすぐ、御霊はイエスを荒野に追いやられた。
And immediately the Spirit drives him out into the wilderness.
13 イエスは四十日間荒野にいて、サタンの誘惑を受けられた。野の獣とともにおられたが、御使いたちがイエスに仕えていた。
And he was in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.
14 ヨハネが捕えられて後、イエスはガリラヤに行き、神の福音を宣べて言われた。
But after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom of God,
15 「時が満ち、神の国は近くなった。悔い改めて福音を信じなさい。」
and saying, The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God has drawn nigh; repent and believe in the glad tidings.
16 ガリラヤ湖のほとりを通られると、シモンとシモンの兄弟アンデレが湖で網を打っているのをご覧になった。彼らは漁師であった。
And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew, [Simon's] brother, casting out a net in the sea, for they were fishers.
17 イエスは彼らに言われた。「わたしについて来なさい。人間をとる漁師にしてあげよう。」
And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will make you become fishers of men;
18 すると、すぐに、彼らは網を捨て置いて従った。
and straightway leaving their trawl-nets they followed him.
19 また少し行かれると、ゼベダイの子ヤコブとその兄弟ヨハネをご覧になった。彼らも舟の中で網を繕っていた。
And going on thence a little, he saw James the [son] of Zebedee, and John his brother, and these [were] in the ship repairing the trawl-nets;
20 すぐに、イエスがお呼びになった。すると彼らは父ゼベダイを雇い人たちといっしょに舟に残して、イエスについて行った。
and straightway he called them; and leaving their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, they went away after him.
21 それから、一行はカペナウムにはいった。そしてすぐに、イエスは安息日に会堂にはいって教えられた。
And they go into Capernaum. And straightway on the sabbath he entered into the synagogue and taught.
22 人々は、その教えに驚いた。それはイエスが、律法学者たちのようにではなく、権威ある者のように教えられたからである。
And they were astonished at his doctrine, for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
23 すると、すぐにまた、その会堂に汚れた霊につかれた人がいて、大声でわめいて言った。
And there was in their synagogue a man [possessed] by an unclean spirit, and he cried out
24 「ナザレの人イエス。いったい私たちに何をしようというのです。あなたは私たちを滅ぼしに来たのでしょう。私はあなたがどなたか知っています。神の聖者です。」
saying, Eh! what have we to do with thee, Jesus, Nazarene? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the holy one of God.
25 イエスは彼をしかって、「黙れ。この人から出て行け。」と言われた。
And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace and come out of him.
26 すると、その汚れた霊はその人をひきつけさせ、大声をあげて、その人から出て行った。
And the unclean spirit, having torn him, and uttered a cry with a loud voice, came out of him.
27 人々はみな驚いて、互いに論じ合って言った。「これはどうだ。権威のある、新しい教えではないか。汚れた霊をさえ戒められる。すると従うのだ。」
And all were amazed, so that they questioned together among themselves, saying, What is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.
28 こうして、イエスの評判は、すぐに、ガリラヤ全地の至る所に広まった。
And his fame went out straightway into the whole region of Galilee around.
29 イエスは会堂を出るとすぐに、ヤコブとヨハネを連れて、シモンとアンデレの家にはいられた。
And straightway going out of the synagogue, they came with James and John into the house of Simon and Andrew.
30 ところが、シモンのしゅうとめが熱病で床に着いていたので、人々はさっそく彼女のことをイエスに知らせた。
And the mother-in-law of Simon lay in a fever. And straightway they speak to him about her.
31 イエスは、彼女に近寄り、その手を取って起こされた。すると熱がひき、彼女は彼らをもてなした。
And he went up to [her] and raised her up, having taken her by the hand, and straightway the fever left her, and she served them.
32 夕方になった。日が沈むと、人々は病人や悪霊につかれた者をみな、イエスのもとに連れて来た。
But evening being come, when the sun had gone down, they brought to him all that were suffering, and those possessed by demons;
33 こうして町中の者が戸口に集まって来た。
and the whole city was gathered together at the door.
34 イエスは、さまざまの病気にかかっている多くの人をお直しになり、また多くの悪霊を追い出された。そして悪霊どもがものを言うのをお許しにならなかった。彼らがイエスをよく知っていたからである。
And he healed many suffering from various diseases; and he cast out many demons, and did not suffer the demons to speak because they knew him.
35 さて、イエスは、朝早くまだ暗いうちに起きて、寂しい所へ出て行き、そこで祈っておられた。
And rising in the morning long before day, he went out and went away into a desert place, and there prayed.
36 シモンとその仲間は、イエスを追って来て、
And Simon and those with him went after him:
37 彼を見つけ、「みんながあなたを捜しております。」と言った。
and having found him, they say to him, All seek thee.
38 イエスは彼らに言われた。「さあ、近くの別の村里へ行こう。そこにも福音を知らせよう。わたしは、そのために出て来たのだから。」
And he says to them, Let us go elsewhere into the neighbouring country towns, that I may preach there also, for for this purpose am I come forth.
39 こうしてイエスは、ガリラヤ全地にわたり、その会堂に行って、福音を告げ知らせ、悪霊を追い出された。
And he was preaching in their synagogues in the whole of Galilee, and casting out demons.
40 さて、ひとりのらい病人が、イエスのみもとにお願いに来て、ひざまずいて言った。「お心一つで、私はきよくしていただけます。」
And there comes to him a leper, beseeching him, and falling on his knees to him, and saying to him, If thou wilt thou canst cleanse me.
41 イエスは深くあわれみ、手を伸ばして、彼にさわって言われた。「わたしの心だ。きよくなれ。」
But Jesus, moved with compassion, having stretched out his hand, touched him, and says to him, I will, be thou cleansed.
42 すると、すぐに、そのらい病が消えて、その人はきよくなった。
And as he spoke straightway the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
43 そこでイエスは、彼をきびしく戒めて、すぐに彼を立ち去らせた。
And having sharply charged him, he straightway sent him away,
44 そのとき彼にこう言われた。「気をつけて、だれにも何も言わないようにしなさい。ただ行って、自分を祭司に見せなさい。そして、人々へのあかしのために、モーセが命じた物をもって、あなたのきよめの供え物をしなさい。」
and says to him, See thou say nothing to any one, but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what Moses ordained, for a testimony to them.
45 ところが、彼は出て行って、この出来事をふれ回り、言い広め始めた。そのためイエスは表立って町の中にはいることができず、町はずれの寂しい所におられた。しかし、人々は、あらゆる所からイエスのもとにやって来た。
But he, having gone forth, began to proclaim [it] much, and to spread the matter abroad, so that he could no longer enter openly into the city, but was without in desert places, and they came to him from every side.
