ルカの福音書 17
1 イエスは弟子たちにこう言われた。「つまずきが起こるのは避けられない。だが、つまずきを起こさせる者は、忌まわしいものです。
Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 この小さい者たちのひとりに、つまずきを与えるようであったら、そんな者は石臼を首にゆわえつけられて、海に投げ込まれたほうがましです。
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
3 気をつけていなさい。もし兄弟が罪を犯したなら、彼を戒めなさい。そして悔い改めれば、赦しなさい。
Take heed to yourselves: If your brother trespass against you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 かりに、あなたに対して一日に七度罪を犯しても、『悔い改めます。』と言って七度あなたのところに来るなら、赦してやりなさい。」
And if he trespass against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day return to you, saying, I repent; you shall forgive him.
5 使徒たちは主に言った。「私たちの信仰を増してください。」
And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 しかし主は言われた。「もしあなたがたに、からし種ほどの信仰があったなら、この桑の木に、『根こそぎ海の中に植われ。』と言えば、言いつけどおりになるのです。
And the Lord said, If all of you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, all of you might say unto this sycamine tree, Be you plucked up by the root, and be you planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
7 ところで、あなたがたのだれかに、耕作か羊飼いをするしもべがいるとして、そのしもべが野らから帰って来たとき、『さあ、さあ、ここに来て、食事をしなさい。』としもべに言うでしょうか。
But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he has come from the field, Go and sit down to food?
8 かえって、『私の食事の用意をし、帯を締めて私の食事が済むまで給仕しなさい。あとで、自分の食事をしなさい。』と言わないでしょうか。
And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird yourself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward you shall eat and drink?
9 しもべが言いつけられたことをしたからといって、そのしもべに感謝するでしょうか。
Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I I think not not.
10 あなたがたもそのとおりです。自分に言いつけられたことをみな、してしまったら、『私たちは役に立たないしもべです。なすべきことをしただけです。』と言いなさい。」
So likewise all of you, when all of you shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are useless servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
11 そのころイエスはエルサレムに上られる途中、サマリヤとガリラヤの境を通られた。
And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 ある村にはいると、十人のらい病人がイエスに出会った。彼らは遠く離れた所に立って、
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood far off:
13 声を張り上げて、「イエスさま、先生。どうぞあわれんでください。」と言った。
And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 イエスはこれを見て、言われた。「行きなさい。そして自分を祭司に見せなさい。」彼らは行く途中でいやされた。
And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 そのうちのひとりは、自分のいやされたことがわかると、大声で神をほめたたえながら引き返して来て、
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 イエスの足もとにひれ伏して感謝した。彼はサマリヤ人であった。
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 そこでイエスは言われた。「十人いやされたのではないか。九人はどこにいるのか。
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 神をあがめるために戻って来た者は、この外国人のほかには、だれもいないのか。」
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 それからその人に言われた。「立ち上がって、行きなさい。あなたの信仰が、あなたを直したのです。」
And he said unto him, Arise, go your way: your faith has made you whole.
20 さて、神の国はいつ来るのか、とパリサイ人たちに尋ねられたとき、イエスは答えて言われた。「神の国は、人の目で認められるようにして来るものではありません。
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation:
21 『そら、ここにある。』とか、『あそこにある。』とか言えるようなものではありません。いいですか。神の国は、あなたがたのただ中にあるのです。」
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22 イエスは弟子たちに言われた。「人の子の日を一日でも見たいと願っても、見られない時が来ます。
And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when all of you shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and all of you shall not see it.
23 人々が『こちらだ。』とか、『あちらだ。』とか言っても行ってはなりません。あとを追いかけてはなりません。
And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24 いなずまが、ひらめいて、天の端から天の端へと輝くように、人の子は、人の子の日には、ちょうどそのようであるからです。
For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25 しかし、人の子はまず、多くの苦しみを受け、この時代に捨てられなければなりません。
But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26 人の子の日に起こることは、ちょうど、ノアの日に起こったことと同様です。
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 ノアが箱舟にはいるその日まで、人々は、食べたり、飲んだり、めとったり、とついだりしていたが、洪水が来て、すべての人を滅ぼしてしまいました。
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 また、ロトの時代にあったことと同様です。人々は食べたり、飲んだり、売ったり、買ったり、植えたり、建てたりしていたが、
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
29 ロトがソドムから出て行くと、その日に、火と硫黄が天から降って、すべての人を滅ぼしてしまいました。
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 人の子の現われる日にも、全くそのとおりです。
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 その日には、屋上にいる者は家に家財があっても、取り出しに降りてはいけません。同じように、畑にいる者も家に帰ってはいけません。
In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 ロトの妻を思い出しなさい。
Remember Lot's wife.
33 自分のいのちを救おうと努める者はそれを失い、それを失う者はいのちを保ちます。
Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34 あなたがたに言いますが、その夜、同じ寝台で男がふたり寝ていると、ひとりは取られ、他のひとりは残されます。
I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 女がふたりいっしょに臼をひいていると、ひとりは取られ、他のひとりは残されます。」
Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 弟子たちは答えて言った。「主よ。どこでですか。」主は言われた。「死体のある所、そこに、はげたかも集まります。」
Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where ever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
