ルカの福音書 10
1 その後、主は、別に七十人を定め、ご自分が行くつもりのすべての町や村へ、ふたりずつ先にお遣わしになった。
After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, where he himself would come.
2 そして、彼らに言われた。「実りは多いが、働き手が少ない。だから、収穫の主に、収穫のために働き手を送ってくださるように祈りなさい。
Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray all of you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 さあ、行きなさい。いいですか。わたしがあなたがたを遣わすのは、狼の中に小羊を送り出すようなものです。
Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 財布も旅行袋も持たず、くつもはかずに行きなさい。だれにも、道であいさつしてはいけません。
Carry neither purse, nor pouch, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5 どんな家にはいっても、まず、『この家に平安があるように。』と言いなさい。
And into whatsoever house all of you enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 もしそこに平安の子がいたら、あなたがたの祈った平安は、その人の上にとどまります。だが、もしいないなら、その平安はあなたがたに返って来ます。
And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 その家に泊まっていて、出してくれる物を飲み食いしなさい。働く者が報酬を受けるのは、当然だからです。家から家へと渡り歩いてはいけません。
And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 どの町にはいっても、あなたがたを受け入れてくれたら、出される物を食べなさい。
And into whatsoever city all of you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 そして、その町の病人を直し、彼らに、『神の国が、あなたがたに近づいた。』と言いなさい。
And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.
10 しかし、町にはいっても、人々があなたがたを受け入れないならば、大通りに出て、こう言いなさい。
But into whatsoever city all of you enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
11 『私たちは足についたこの町のちりも、あなたがたにぬぐい捨てて行きます。しかし、神の国が近づいたことは承知していなさい。』
Even the very dust of your city, which cleaves on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be all of you sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.
12 あなたがたに言うが、その日には、その町よりもソドムのほうがまだ罰が軽いのです。
But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
13 ああコラジン。ああベツサイダ。おまえたちの間に起こった力あるわざが、もしもツロとシドンでなされたのだったら、彼らはとうの昔に荒布をまとい、灰の中にすわって、悔い改めていただろう。
Woe unto you, Chorazin! woe unto you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 しかし、さばきの日には、そのツロとシドンのほうが、まだおまえたちより罰が軽いのだ。
But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell. (Hadēs g86)
16 あなたがたに耳を傾ける者は、わたしに耳を傾ける者であり、あなたがたを拒む者は、わたしを拒む者です。わたしを拒む者は、わたしを遣わされた方を拒む者です。」
He that hears you hears me; and he that despises you despises me; and he that despises me despises him that sent me.
17 さて、七十人が喜んで帰って来て、こう言った。「主よ。あなたの御名を使うと、悪霊どもでさえ、私たちに服従します。」
And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through your name.
18 イエスは言われた。「わたしが見ていると、サタンが、いなずまのように天から落ちました。
And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 確かに、わたしは、あなたがたに、蛇やさそりを踏みつけ、敵のあらゆる力に打ち勝つ権威を授けたのです。だから、あなたがたに害を加えるものは何一つありません。
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 だがしかし、悪霊どもがあなたがたに服従するからといって、喜んではなりません。ただあなたがたの名が天に書きしるされていることを喜びなさい。」
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits (pneuma) are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
21 ちょうどこのとき、イエスは、聖霊によって喜びにあふれて言われた。「天地の主であられる父よ。あなたをほめたたえます。これらのことを、賢い者や知恵のある者には隠して、幼子たちに現わしてくださいました。そうです、父よ。これがみこころにかなったことでした。
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, (pneuma) and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in your sight.
22 すべてのものが、わたしの父から、わたしに渡されています。それで、子がだれであるかは、父のほかには知る者がありません。また父がだれであるかは、子と、子が父を知らせようと心に定めた人たちのほかは、だれも知る者がありません。」
All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knows who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
23 それからイエスは、弟子たちのほうに向いて、ひそかに言われた。「あなたがたの見ていることを見る目は幸いです。
And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that all of you see:
24 あなたがたに言いますが、多くの預言者や王たちがあなたがたの見ていることを見たいと願ったのに、見られなかったのです。また、あなたがたの聞いていることを聞きたいと願ったのに、聞けなかったのです。」
For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which all of you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which all of you hear, and have not heard them.
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
26 イエスは言われた。「律法には、何と書いてありますか。あなたはどう読んでいますか。」
He said unto him, What is written in the law? how read you?
27 すると彼は答えて言った。「『心を尽くし、思いを尽くし、力を尽くし、知性を尽くして、あなたの神である主を愛せよ。』また『あなたの隣人をあなた自身のように愛せよ。』とあります。」
And he answering said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.
28 イエスは言われた。「そのとおりです。それを実行しなさい。そうすれば、いのちを得ます。」
And he said unto him, You have answered right: this do, and you shall live.
29 しかし彼は、自分の正しさを示そうとしてイエスに言った。「では、私の隣人とは、だれのことですか。」
But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30 イエスは答えて言われた。 「ある人が、エルサレムからエリコへ下る道で、強盗に襲われた。強盗どもは、その人の着物をはぎ取り、なぐりつけ、半殺しにして逃げて行った。
And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 たまたま、祭司がひとり、その道を下って来たが、彼を見ると、反対側を通り過ぎて行った。
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 同じようにレビ人も、その場所に来て彼を見ると、反対側を通り過ぎて行った。
And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33 ところが、あるサマリヤ人が、旅の途中、そこに来合わせ、彼を見てかわいそうに思い、
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34 近寄って傷にオリーブ油とぶどう酒を注いで、ほうたいをし、自分の家畜に乗せて宿屋に連れて行き、介抱してやった。
And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 次の日、彼はデナリ二つを取り出し、宿屋の主人に渡して言った。『介抱してあげてください。もっと費用がかかったら、私が帰りに払います。』
And on the next day when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever you spend more, when I come again, I will repay you.
36 この三人の中でだれが、強盗に襲われた者の隣人になったと思いますか。」
Which now of these three, think you, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 彼は言った。「その人にあわれみをかけてやった人です。」するとイエスは言われた。「あなたも行って同じようにしなさい。」
And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do you likewise.
38 さて、彼らが旅を続けているうち、イエスがある村にはいられると、マルタという女が喜んで家にお迎えした。
Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
39 彼女にマリヤという妹がいたが、主の足もとにすわって、みことばに聞き入っていた。
And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. (logos)
40 ところが、マルタは、いろいろともてなしのために気が落ち着かず、みもとに来て言った。「主よ。妹が私だけにおもてなしをさせているのを、何ともお思いにならないのでしょうか。私の手伝いをするように、妹におっしゃってください。」
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 主は答えて言われた。「マルタ、マルタ。あなたは、いろいろなことを心配して、気を使っています。
And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, you are careful and troubled about many things:
42 しかし、どうしても必要なことはわずかです。いや、一つだけです。マリヤはその良いほうを選んだのです。彼女からそれを取り上げてはいけません。」
But one thing is necessary: and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
