ヨハネの福音書 21
1 この後、イエスはテベリヤの湖畔で、もう一度ご自分を弟子たちに現わされた。その現わされた次第はこうであった。
After these things Yahushua shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
2 シモン・ペテロ、デドモと呼ばれるトマス、ガリラヤのカナのナタナエル、ゼベダイの子たち、ほかにふたりの弟子がいっしょにいた。
There were together Simon Kepha, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
3 シモン・ペテロが彼らに言った。「私は漁に行く。」彼らは言った。「私たちもいっしょに行きましょう。」彼らは出かけて、小舟に乗り込んだ。しかし、その夜は何もとれなかった。
Simon Kepha saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4 夜が明けそめたとき、イエスは岸べに立たれた。けれども弟子たちには、それがイエスであることがわからなかった。
But when the morning was now come, Yahushua stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Yahushua.
5 イエスは彼らに言われた。「子どもたちよ。食べる物がありませんね。」彼らは答えた。「はい。ありません。」
Then Yahushua saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
6 イエスは彼らに言われた。「舟の右側に網をおろしなさい。そうすれば、とれます。」そこで、彼らは網をおろした。すると、おびただしい魚のために、網を引き上げることができなかった。
And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
7 そこで、イエスの愛されたあの弟子がペテロに言った。「主です。」すると、シモン・ペテロは、主であると聞いて、裸だったので、上着をまとって、湖に飛び込んだ。
Therefore that disciple whom Yahushua loved saith unto Kepha, It is Yahushua. Now when Simon Kepha heard that it was Yahushua, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked, ) and did cast himself into the sea.
8 しかし、ほかの弟子たちは、魚の満ちたその網を引いて、小舟でやって来た。陸地から遠くなく、百メートル足らずの距離だったからである。
And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits, ) dragging the net with fishes.
9 こうして彼らが陸地に上がったとき、そこに炭火とその上に載せた魚と、パンがあるのを見た。
As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
10 イエスは彼らに言われた。「あなたがたの今とった魚を幾匹か持って来なさい。」
Yahushua saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
11 シモン・ペテロは舟に上がって、網を陸地に引き上げた。それは百五十三匹の大きな魚でいっぱいであった。それほど多かったけれども、網は破れなかった。
Simon Kepha went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, and hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
12 イエスは彼らに言われた。「さあ来て、朝の食事をしなさい。」弟子たちは主であることを知っていたので、だれも「あなたはどなたですか。」とあえて尋ねる者はいなかった。
Yahushua saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was He.
13 イエスは来て、パンを取り、彼らにお与えになった。また、魚も同じようにされた。
Yahushua then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
14 イエスが、死人の中からよみがえってから、弟子たちにご自分を現わされたのは、すでにこれで三度目である。
This is now the third time that Yahushua shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
15 彼らが食事を済ませたとき、イエスはシモン・ペテロに言われた。「ヨハネの子シモン。あなたは、この人たち以上に、わたしを愛しますか。」ペテロはイエスに言った。「はい。主よ。私があなたを愛することは、あなたがご存じです。」イエスは彼に言われた。「わたしの小羊を飼いなさい。」
So when they had dined, Yahushua saith to Simon Kepha, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Rabbi; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 イエスは再び彼に言われた。「ヨハネの子シモン。あなたはわたしを愛しますか。」ペテロはイエスに言った。「はい。主よ。私があなたを愛することは、あなたがご存じです。」イエスは彼に言われた。「わたしの羊を牧しなさい。」
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Rabbi; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 イエスは三度ペテロに言われた。「ヨハネの子シモン。あなたはわたしを愛しますか。」ペテロは、イエスが三度「あなたはわたしを愛しますか。」と言われたので、心を痛めてイエスに言った。「主よ。あなたはいっさいのことをご存じです。あなたは、私があなたを愛することを知っておいでになります。」イエスは彼に言われた。「わたしの羊を飼いなさい。
He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Kepha was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Rabbi, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Yahushua saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
18 まことに、まことに、あなたに告げます。あなたは若かった時には、自分で帯を締めて、自分の歩きたい所を歩きました。しかし年をとると、あなたは自分の手を伸ばし、ほかの人があなたに帯をさせて、あなたの行きたくない所に連れて行きます。」
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
19 これは、ペテロがどのような死に方をして、神の栄光を現わすかを示して、言われたことであった。こうお話しになってから、ペテロに言われた。「わたしに従いなさい。」
This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify YHWH. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
20 ペテロは振り向いて、イエスが愛された弟子があとについて来るのを見た。この弟子はあの晩餐のとき、イエスの右側にいて、「主よ。あなたを裏切る者はだれですか。」と言った者である。
Then Kepha, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Yahushua loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Rabbi, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21 ペテロは彼を見て、イエスに言った。「主よ。この人はどうですか。」
Kepha seeing him saith to Yahushua, Rabbi, and what shall this man do?
22 イエスはペテロに言われた。「わたしの来るまで彼が生きながらえるのをわたしが望むとしても、それがあなたに何のかかわりがありますか。あなたは、わたしに従いなさい。」
Yahushua saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23 そこで、その弟子は死なないという話が兄弟たちの間に行き渡った。しかし、イエスはペテロに、その弟子が死なないと言われたのでなく、「わたしの来るまで彼が生きながらえるのをわたしが望むとしても、それがあなたに何のかかわりがありますか。」と言われたのである。
Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Yahushua said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
24 これらのことについてあかしした者、またこれらのことを書いた者は、その弟子である。そして、私たちは、彼のあかしが真実であることを、知っている。
This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
25 イエスが行なわれたことは、ほかにもたくさんあるが、もしそれらをいちいち書きしるすなら、世界も、書かれた書物を入れることができまい、と私は思う。
And there are also many other things which Yahushua did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.
