ヨハネの手紙第二 1
1 長老から、選ばれた夫人とその子どもたちへ。私はあなたがたをほんとうに愛しています。私だけでなく、真理を知っている人々がみな、そうです。
The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;
For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever. (aiōn g165)
3 真理と愛のうちに、御父と御父の御子イエス・キリストから来る恵みとあわれみと平安は、私たちとともにあります。
Favour be with you, mercy, and peace, from Yahushua the Messiah the Father, and from the Master Yahushua the Messiah, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
4 あなたの子どもたちの中に、御父から私たちが受けた命令のとおりに真理のうちを歩んでいる人たちがあるのを知って、私は非常に喜んでいます。
I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
5 そこで夫人よ。お願いしたいことがあります。それは私が新しい命令を書くのではなく、初めから私たちが持っていたものなのですが、私たちが互いに愛し合うということです。
And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
6 愛とは、御父の命令に従って歩むことであり、命令とは、あなたがたが初めから聞いているとおり、愛のうちを歩むことです。
And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
7 なぜお願いするかと言えば、人を惑わす者、すなわち、イエス・キリストが人として来られたことを告白しない者が大ぜい世に出て行ったからです。こういう者は惑わす者であり、反キリストです。
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Yahushua the Messiah is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antimessiah.
8 よく気をつけて、私たちの労苦の実をだいなしにすることなく、豊かな報いを受けるようになりなさい。
Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
9 だれでも行き過ぎをして、キリストの教えのうちにとどまらない者は、神を持っていません。その教えのうちにとどまっている者は、御父をも御子をも持っています。
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of the Messiah, hath not Elohim. He that abideth in the doctrine of the Messiah, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 あなたがたのところに来る人で、この教えを持って来ない者は、家に受け入れてはいけません。その人にあいさつのことばをかけてもいけません。
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him peace:
11 そういう人にあいさつすれば、その悪い行ないをともにすることになります。
For he that biddeth him peace is partaker of his evil deeds.
12 あなたがたに書くべきことがたくさんありますが、紙と墨でしたくはありません。あなたがたのところに行って、顔を合わせて語りたいと思います。私たちの喜びが全きものとなるためにです。
Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
13 選ばれたあなたの姉妹の子どもたちが、あなたによろしくと言っています。
The children of thy elect sister greet thee. amein.
