ヘブル人への手紙 10
1 抑律法は、将來の恵の影のみを有して、事物の眞の像を有せざるが故に、毎年絶えず同じ犠牲を献げて、祭壇に近づく人々を完全ならしむる事は、決して能はざるなり。
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 然らずんば、祭る人々一旦潔められては、復罪の意識なかるべければ、祭を献ぐる事止むべかりしなり。
For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 然れど彼祭に於て年々罪を紀念するは、
But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 牡牛と牡山羊との血を以てしては罪を除く事能はざるが故なり。
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 然ればキリスト世に入り給ひし時曰ひけるは、「主よ、犠牲と献物とを否みて肉體を我に備へ給へり、
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 燔祭と罪祭とは御心に適はざりしを以て、
In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 我言へらく、看給へ、巻物の初に我に就きて録したれば、神よ、我は御旨を行はん為に來れり」、と。
Then said I, Lo, I come ( in the volume of the book it is written of me, ) to do thy will, O God.
8 然て初には、「主よ、犠牲と献物と燔祭と罪祭とを否み給ひて、律法に從ひて献げらるるものは御意に適はざりき」、と曰ひて、
Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 後には「神よ、看給へ、我は御旨を行はん為に來れり」、と曰へば、是初の事を廃して其次の事を立て給ふなり、
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 此御旨の故にこそ、イエズス、キリストの御體が一度献げられしに由りて、我等は聖と為られしなれ。
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 然て司祭は、総て日々に立ちて聖役を行ひ、何時も罪を除く能はざる同じ犠牲を献ぐれども、
And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 此大司祭は罪の為に一の犠牲を献げ給て、限なく神の御右に坐し、
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 斯て敵の己が足台と為られん事を待ち給ふなり。
From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 其は聖と為られたる人々を、一の献物を以て限なく全うし給ひたればなり、
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 聖霊も亦之を我等に證し給ふ。蓋前には、
Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 「主曰はく、彼日の後我が立てんとする約は斯なり、我律法を彼等の心に與へ、之を其精神に録さん」、と曰ひて後、
This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 「我最早彼等の罪と不義とを記憶せざるべし」、と曰ひしなり。
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 是等の赦ありたる上は、罪の為の献物は絶えて之ある事なし。
Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 第一款 信仰を保ちて棄教の念に遠ざかるべし 第二編 道義的勧告 第一項 一般に渉る勧告 然れば兄弟等よ、我等はイエズスの御血により、
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 イエズスの己が肉なる幔を経て我等に開き給ひし、新にして活ける道より聖所に入るべき事を確信し、
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 且神の家を司る大司祭を有する者なれば、
And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 心を惡き料簡より濯がれ、身を清き水に洗はれて、眞心と完全なる信仰とを以て之に近づき奉り、
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 確乎として我等が希望の宣言を保つべし、約し給ひし者は眞實にて在せばなり。
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; ( for he is faithful that promised; )
24 又互に顧みて親愛と善業とを相励まし、
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 或人々の為馴れたるが如くに集を缺く事なく、寧相勧めて、日の近づくを見るに随ひて愈励むべきなり。
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 蓋我等既に眞理の知識を受けたる後、故に罪を犯さば、殘る所は最早罪を贖ふ犠牲に非ずして、
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 唯懼る懼る審判を待つ事と、敵對する者を焼盡すべき火の烈しさとのみ。
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 モイゼの律法を破りたる人すら、二三人の證言によりて容赦なく死するなれば、
He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 况て神の御子を蹂躪け、己が由りて以て聖と為られし約の血を蔑視し、恩寵を賜ふ聖霊に侮辱を加へたる人の受くべき刑罰の厳しさの、如何許なるかを思へ。
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 「復讐は我事なり、我報ゆべし」と曰ひ、又「主は其民を審判すべし」と曰ひし者の誰なるかは我等の知れる所なり。
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 恐るべき哉、活き給へる神の御手に罹る事。
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 汝等曩に照らされつつ、苦の大いなる戰を忍びたりし日を追想せよ。
But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
33 即ち或は侮辱と患難とを以て人の観物と為られ、或は斯る事に遇へる人々の侶と成りたりき。
Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
34 蓋囚人の上をも思遣り、又己が立勝りたる永存の寳を有せるを知りて、我財産を奪はるるをも喜びて忍びたるなり。
For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
35 然れば大いなる報を得べき汝等の希望を失ふ勿れ。
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 即ち神の御旨を行ひて約束のものを得ん為に、汝等に必要なるは忍耐なり。
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 蓋來らんとする者は軈て來り給ふべく、延引し給ふ事あらじ。
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38 我義人は信仰によりて活く、若自ら退かば我心に適はざるべし。
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 我等は亡に至らんとして退く者に非ず、魂を得んとして信仰する者なり。
But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
