テモテへの手紙第二 4
1 我神の御前、又生者と死者とを審判し給べきイエズス、キリストの御前に於て、其公顕と御國とに對して希ふ、
I testify before God and Christ Jesus, who is about to judge living and dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom,
2 汝御言を宣傳へて、時なるも時ならざるも、切に勧め、忍耐を盡し、教理を盡して、且戒め且希ひ且威せ。
proclaim the word; be urgent in season [and] out of season, convict, rebuke, encourage, with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 蓋時至らば、人々健全なる教に堪へず、耳痒くして、私欲のまにまに己が為に教師を蓄へ、
For the time shall be when they will not bear sound teaching; but according to their own lusts will heap up to themselves teachers, having an itching ear;
4 耳を眞理に背け、身を寓言に委ぬるに至らん。
and they will turn away their ear from the truth, and will have turned aside to fables.
5 然れど汝は慎みて萬事を凌ぎ、福音師の業を為して己が[聖]役を盡せ。
But thou, be sober in all things, bear evils, do [the] work of an evangelist, fill up the full measure of thy ministry.
6 蓋我は最早供物に濯がれ、去るべき時期切迫せり。
For I am already being poured out, and the time of my release is come.
7 我善き戰を戰ひ、走るべき道を果たし、信仰を保てり。
I have combated the good combat, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
8 殘る所は、正義の冠我為に備はれるのみ、正しき審判者にて在す主は、彼日に於て之を我に賜ふべく、而も獨り我のみならずして、其降臨を愛する人々にも賜ふべきなり。
Henceforth the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will render to me in that day; but not only to me, but also to all who love his appearing.
9 結末 急ぎて我許に來れ、
Use diligence to come to me quickly;
for Demas has forsaken me, having loved the present age, and is gone to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
11 ルカ一人我と共に在り。汝マルコを誘ひて共に來れ、其は彼は[聖]役の為に我に益あればなり。
Luke alone is with me. Take Mark, and bring [him] with thyself, for he is serviceable to me for ministry.
12 チキコは我之をエフェゾに遣はせり。
But Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.
13 汝來る時、我がトロアデにてカルポの家に遺置きたる上衣と書物と、特に羊皮紙とを持來れ。
The cloak which I left behind [me] in Troas at Carpus's, bring when thou comest, and the books, especially the parchments.
14 鍛冶屋アレキサンデル大いに我を悩せり、主は其業に應じて報い給ふべし、
Alexander the smith did many evil things against me. The Lord will render to him according to his works.
15 彼は甚しく我言に逆らひし者なれば、汝も之に遠ざかれ。
Against whom be thou also on thy guard, for he has greatly withstood our words.
16 我初の弁護の時、我に立會ふ者一人もなく、皆我を棄てたり、願はくは其罪を彼等に歸せられざらん事を。
At my first defence no man stood with me, but all deserted me. May it not be imputed to them.
17 然れど宣教が我を以て全うせられ、凡ての異邦人の聴かん為に、主は我と共に立ちて我を堅固ならしめ給へり、斯て我は獅の口より救はれたるなり。
But the Lord stood with [me], and gave me power, that through me the proclamation might be fully made, and all [those of] the nations should hear; and I was delivered out of the lion's mouth.
The Lord shall deliver me from every wicked work, and shall preserve [me] for his heavenly kingdom; to whom [be] glory for the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
19 プリスカとアクィラとオネジフォロの家とに宜しく傳へよ。
Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.
20 エラストはコリントに留りしが、トロフィモは病ありて、我之をミレトに遺せり。
Erastus remained in Corinth, but Trophimus I left behind in Miletus sick.
21 冬に先ちて急ぎ來れ、ユウプロとプデンスとリノとクロオディアと凡ての兄弟と、汝に宜しくと言へり。
Use diligence to come before winter. Eubulus salutes thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and the brethren all.
22 願はくは主イエズス、キリスト汝の霊と共に在し、恩寵汝等と共に在らん事を、アメン。
The Lord Jesus Christ [be] with your spirit. Grace [be] with you.
