コリント人への手紙第一 2

1 第二項 分裂の第二原因即ち神の智恵を慮らざる事 兄弟等よ、我も汝等に至りし時、高尚なる談話或は智恵を齎して、神の證明を汝等に告げしに非ず。

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech (logos) or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2 蓋我汝等の中に於てイエズス、キリスト、而も十字架に釘けられ給ひたる其の外は、何をも知るを善しとせず、

For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

3 汝等の中に在りて、弱くして且懼れ、且大いに慄く者なりき。

And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

4 又我談話、我宣教は人を屈服せしむる人智の言に在らずして、聖霊及び大能を現すに在りき。

And my speech (logos) and my preaching was not with enticing words (logos) of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit (pneuma) and of power:

5 是汝等の信仰が人間の智恵に由らずして、神の大能に由らん為なり。

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

6 然れども完全なる人々の中に於ては、我等智恵の事を語る。但し此世の智恵に非ず、此世に於る亡ぶべき君主等の智恵に非ず、 (aiōn g165)

Nevertheless we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nothing: (aiōn g165)

7 語る所は神の不可思議なる智恵にして、即ち（永く）隠れたりしもの、神が代々に先ちて我等の光榮として豫定し給ひしものなり。 (aiōn g165)

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: (aiōn g165)

8 此世の君主等は一人も之を知らざりき。蓋知りたりしならば、彼等は決して光榮の主を十字架に釘けざりしならん。 (aiōn g165)

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)

9 然るに録されし如く、神が之を愛し奉る人々に備給ひし事、目も之を見ず、耳も之を聞かず、人の意にも上らざりしを、神己が霊を以て我等に顕はし給ひしなり、

But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.

10 其は霊は神の深き所に至るまで萬事を洞見し給へばなり。

But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: (pneuma) for the Spirit (pneuma) searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 蓋人の事は、其身に在る人の霊の外に、如何なる人か之を知るべき。斯の如く神の事も亦神の霊の外に之を知る者なし。

For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit (pneuma) of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit (pneuma) of God.

12 然て我等が受けしは此世の霊に非ず、神より出で給ふ霊にして、神より我等に賜はりたる事を知らん為なり。

Now we have received, not the spirit (pneuma) of the world, but the spirit (pneuma) which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 又我等が之を語るに當りて、人智の教ふる言を以てせず、霊の教へ給ふ所を以てして、霊的事物に霊的事物を引合するなり。

Which things also we speak, not in the words (logos) which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit (pneuma) teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 然るに肉的人物は神の霊の事を承容れず、是霊的に是非すべきものなれば、彼に取りては愚に見えて之を覚る事能はざるなり。

But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit (pneuma) of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 然るに霊的人物は萬事を是非して、己は誰にも是非せられず。

But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 蓋誰か主の念を知りて之に諭す者あらんや、我等はキリストの念を有し奉る。

For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
