詩篇 7
1 ベニヤミンびとクシのことについてダビデが主にむかってうたったシガヨンの歌 わが神、主よ、わたしはあなたに寄り頼みます。どうかすべての追い迫る者からわたしを救い、わたしをお助けください。
The psalm of David which he sung to the Lord for the words of Chusi the son of Jemini. O Lord my God, in thee have I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me.
2 さもないと彼らは、ししのように、わたしをかき裂き、助ける者の来ないうちに、引いて行くでしょう。
Lest at any time he seize upon my soul like a lion, while there is no one to redeem me, nor to save.
3 わが神、主よ、もしわたしがこの事を行ったならば、もしわたしの手によこしまな事があるならば、
O Lord my God, if I have done this thing, if there be iniquity in my hands:
4 もしわたしの友に悪をもって報いたことがあり、ゆえなく、敵のものを略奪したことがあるならば、
If I have rendered to them that repaid me evils, let me deservedly fall empty before my enemies.
5 敵にわたしを追い捕えさせ、わたしの命を地に踏みにじらせ、わたしの魂をちりにゆだねさせてください。 (セラ)
Let the enemy pursue my soul, and take it, and tread down my life on the earth, and bring down my glory to the dust.
6 主よ、怒りをもって立ち、わたしの敵の憤りにむかって立ちあがり、わたしのために目をさましてください。あなたはさばきを命じられました。
Rise up, O Lord, in thy anger: and be thou exalted in the borders of my enemies. And arise, O Lord my God, in the precept which thou hast commanded:
7 もろもろの民をあなたのまわりにつどわせ、その上なる高みくらにおすわりください。
And a congregation of people shall surround thee. And for their sakes return thou on high.
8 主はもろもろの民をさばかれます。主よ、わたしの義と、わたしにある誠実とに従って、わたしをさばいてください。
The Lord judgeth the people. Judge me, O Lord, according to my justice, and according to my innocence in me.
9 どうか悪しき者の悪を断ち、正しき者を堅く立たせてください。義なる神よ、あなたは人の心と思いとを調べられます。
The wickedness of sinners shall be brought to nought: and thou shalt direct the just: the searcher of hearts and reins is God.
10 わたしを守る盾は神である。神は心の直き者を救われる。
Just is my help from the Lord: who saveth the upright of heart.
11 神は義なるさばきびと、日ごとに憤りを起される神である。
God is a just judge, strong and patient: is he angry every day?
12 もし人が悔い改めないならば、神はそのつるぎをとぎ、その弓を張って構え、
Except you will be converted, he will brandish his sword: he hath bent his bow and made it ready.
13 また死に至らせる武器を備え、その矢を火矢とされる。
And in it he hath prepared the instruments of death, he hath made ready his arrows for them that burn.
14 見よ、悪しき者は邪悪をはらみ、害毒をやどし、偽りを生む。
Behold he hath been in labour with injustice; he hath conceived sorrow, and brought forth iniquity.
15 彼は穴を掘って、それを深くし、みずから作った穴に陥る。
He hath opened a pit and dug it; and he is fallen into the hole he made.
16 その害毒は自分のかしらに帰り、その強暴は自分のこうべに下る。
His sorrow shall be turned on his own head: and his iniquity shall comedown upon his crown.
17 わたしは主にむかって、その義にふさわしい感謝をささげ、いと高き者なる主の名をほめ歌うであろう。
I will give glory to the Lord according to his justice: and will sing to the name of the Lord the most high.
