詩篇 57
1 聖歌隊の指揮者によって、「滅ぼすな」というしらべにあわせてうたわせたダビデのミクタムの歌。これはダビデが洞にはいってサウルの手をのがれたときによんだもの 神よ、わたしをあわれんでください。わたしをあわれんでください。わたしの魂はあなたに寄り頼みます。滅びのあらしの過ぎ去るまではあなたの翼の陰をわたしの避け所とします。
Be merciful to me, God, show favor to me, for my soul takes refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, until disaster has passed.
2 わたしはいと高き神に呼ばわります。わたしのためにすべての事をなしとげられる神に呼ばわります。
I cry out to El 'Elyon [God Most High], to God who accomplishes my requests for me.
3 神は天から送ってわたしを救い、わたしを踏みつける者をはずかしめられます。[セラすなわち神はそのいつくしみとまこととを送られるのです。
He will send from heaven, and save me, he rebukes the one who is pursuing me. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·. God will send out his cheshed ·loving-kindness· and his truth.
4 わたしは人の子らをむさぼり食らうししの中に横たわっています。彼らの歯はほこ、また矢、彼らの舌は鋭いつるぎです。
My soul is among lions. I lie among those who are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
5 神よ、みずからを天よりも高くし、みさかえを全地の上にあげてください。
Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your kavod ·weighty glory· be above all the earth!
6 彼らはわたしの足を捕えようと網を設けました。わたしの魂はうなだれました。彼らはわたしの前に穴を掘りました。しかし彼らはみずからその中に陥ったのです。 (セラ)
They have prepared a net for my steps. My soul is bowed down. They dig a pit before me. They fall into the middle of it themselves. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
7 神よ、わたしの心は定まりました。わたしの心は定まりました。わたしは歌い、かつほめたたえます。
My heart is steadfast, God, my heart is steadfast. I will sing, yes, I will sing zahmar ·musical praise·.
8 わが魂よ、さめよ。立琴よ、琴よ、さめよ。わたしはしののめを呼びさまします。
Wake up, my glory! Wake up, lute and harp! I will wake up the dawn.
9 主よ、わたしはもろもろの民の中であなたに感謝し、もろもろの国の中であなたをほめたたえます。
I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you, Lord, among the peoples. I will sing zahmar ·musical praise· to you among the nations.
10 あなたのいつくしみは大きく、天にまで及び、あなたのまことは雲にまで及びます。
For your great cheshed ·loving-kindness· reaches to the heavens, and your truth to the skies.
11 神よ、みずからを天よりも高くし、みさかえを全地の上にあげてください。
Be exalted, God, above the heavens. Let your kavod ·weighty glory· be over all the earth.
