詩篇 24

1 ダビデの歌 地と、それに満ちるもの、世界と、そのなかに住む者とは主のものである。

[A Psalm by David.] The earth is Jehovah's, and its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it.

2 主はその基を大海のうえにすえ、大川のうえに定められた。

For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods.

3 主の山に登るべき者はだれか。その聖所に立つべき者はだれか。

Who may ascend to Jehovah's hill? Who may stand in his holy place?

4 手が清く、心のいさぎよい者、その魂がむなしい事に望みをかけない者、偽って誓わない者こそ、その人である。

He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.

5 このような人は主から祝福をうけ、その救の神から義をうける。

He shall receive a blessing from Jehovah, righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 これこそ主を慕う者のやから、ヤコブの神の、み顔を求める者のやからである。 (セラ)

This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. (Selah)

7 門よ、こうべをあげよ。とこしえの戸よ、あがれ。栄光の王がはいられる。

Lift up your heads, you gates. Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in.

8 栄光の王とはだれか。強く勇ましい主、戦いに勇ましい主である。

Who is the King of glory? Jehovah strong and mighty, Jehovah mighty in battle.

9 門よ、こうべをあげよ。とこしえの戸よ、あがれ。栄光の王がはいられる。

Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in.

10 この栄光の王とはだれか。万軍の主、これこそ栄光の王である。 (セラ)

Who is this King of glory? Jehovah of hosts is the King of glory. (Selah)
