詩篇 16
1 ダビデのミクタムの歌 神よ、わたしをお守りください。わたしはあなたに寄り頼みます。
A Precious Psalm of David. Preserve me, O GOD, for I have sought refuge in thee.
2 わたしは主に言う、「あなたはわたしの主、あなたのほかにわたしの幸はない」と。
Thou hast said unto Yahweh, My Lord, art thou! My goodness, mounteth not unto thee.
3 地にある聖徒は、すべてわたしの喜ぶすぐれた人々である。
It belongeth unto the holy ones, whom, in his own land, Yahweh, ennobleth, In whom is all his delight
4 おおよそ、ほかの神を選ぶ者は悲しみを増す。わたしは彼らのささげる血の灌祭を注がず、その名を口にとなえることをしない。
They multiply their idols—another, have they purchased! I will not pour out their drink-offerings of blood, nor will I take up their names on my lips.
5 主はわたしの嗣業、またわたしの杯にうくべきもの。あなたはわたしの分け前を守られる。
Yahweh, is mine allotted portion and my cup, Thou, art maintaining my lot.
6 測りなわは、わたしのために好ましい所に落ちた。まことにわたしは良い嗣業を得た。
The lines, have fallen unto me, in pleasant places, Verily an inheritance that delighteth me.
7 わたしにさとしをさずけられる主をほめまつる。夜はまた、わたしの心がわたしを教える。
I will bless Yahweh, who hath counselled me, —Surely, by night, shall mine impulses admonish me.
8 わたしは常に主をわたしの前に置く。主がわたしの右にいますゆえ、わたしは動かされることはない。
I have set Yahweh before me continually, because he is on my right hand, I shall not be shaken!
9 このゆえに、わたしの心は楽しみ、わたしの魂は喜ぶ。わたしの身もまた安らかである。
Therefore, hath my heart rejoiced, and mine honour exulted, Yea, my flesh, shall settle down securely;
For thou wilt not abandon my soul to hades, neither wilt thou suffer thy man of lovingkindness, to see corruption: (Sheol h7585)
11 あなたはいのちの道をわたしに示される。あなたの前には満ちあふれる喜びがあり、あなたの右には、とこしえにもろもろの楽しみがある。
Thou wilt cause me to know, the path of life, —Fulness of joys before thee, Pleasures at thy right hand evermore.
