詩篇 149

1 主をほめたたえよ。主にむかって新しい歌をうたえ。聖徒のつどいで、主の誉を歌え。

Praise ye Jehovah. Sing to Jehovah a new song, and his praise in the assembly of the sanctified.

2 イスラエルにその造り主を喜ばせ、シオンの子らにその王を喜ばせよ。

Let Israel rejoice in him who made him. Let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 彼らに踊りをもって主のみ名をほめたたえさせ、鼓と琴とをもって主をほめ歌わせよ。

Let them praise his name in the dance. Let them sing praises to him with timbrel and harp.

4 主はおのが民を喜び、へりくだる者を勝利をもって飾られるからである。

For Jehovah takes pleasure in his people. He will beautify the meek with salvation.

5 聖徒を栄光によって喜ばせ、その床の上で喜び歌わせよ。

Let the sanctified exult in glory. Let them sing for joy upon their beds.

6 そののどには神をあがめる歌があり、その手にはもろ刃のつるぎがある。

The high praises of God are in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand

7 これはもろもろの国にあだを返し、もろもろの民を懲らし、

to execute vengeance upon the nations, and punishments upon the peoples,

8 彼らの王たちを鎖で縛り、彼らの貴人たちを鉄のかせで縛りつけ、

to bind their kings with chains, and their ranking men with fetters of iron,

9 しるされたさばきを彼らに行うためである。これはそのすべての聖徒に与えられる誉である。主をほめたたえよ。

to execute upon them the judgment written. All his sanctified have this honor. Praise ye Jehovah.
