詩篇 13

1 聖歌隊の指揮者によってうたわせたダビデの歌 主よ、いつまでなのですか。とこしえにわたしをお忘れになるのですか。いつまで、み顔をわたしに隠されるのですか。

To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. Howe long wilt thou forget me, O Lord, for euer? howe long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

2 いつまで、わたしは魂に痛みを負い、ひねもす心に悲しみをいだかなければならないのですか。いつまで敵はわたしの上にあがめられるのですか。

How long shall I take counsell within my selfe, hauing wearinesse dayly in mine heart? how long shall mine enemie be exalted aboue me?

3 わが神、主よ、みそなわして、わたしに答え、わたしの目を明らかにしてください。さもないと、わたしは死の眠りに陥り、

Beholde, and heare mee, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, that I sleepe not in death:

4 わたしの敵は「わたしは敵に勝った」と言い、わたしのあだは、わたしの動かされることによって喜ぶでしょう。

Lest mine enemie say, I haue preuailed against him: and they that afflict me, reioyce when I slide.

5 しかしわたしはあなたのいつくしみに信頼し、わたしの心はあなたの救を喜びます。

But I trust in thy mercie: mine heart shall reioyce in thy saluation:

6 主は豊かにわたしをあしらわれたゆえ、わたしは主にむかって歌います。

I will sing to the Lord, because he hath delt louingly with me.
