詩篇 128

1 都もうでの歌 すべて主をおそれ、主の道に歩む者はさいわいである。

A Song of Ascents. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD, that walketh in his ways.

2 あなたは自分の手の勤労の実を食べ、幸福で、かつ安らかであろう。

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

3 あなたの妻は家の奥にいて多くの実を結ぶぶどうの木のようであり、あなたの子供たちは食卓を囲んでオリブの若木のようである。

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of thine house: thy children like olive plants, round about thy table.

4 見よ、主をおそれる人は、このように祝福を得る。

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

5 主はシオンからあなたを祝福されるように。あなたは世にあるかぎりエルサレムの繁栄を見、

The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6 またあなたの子らの子を見るであろう。どうぞ、イスラエルの上に平安があるように。

Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children. Peace be upon Israel.
