詩篇 102

1 苦しむ者が思いくずおれてその嘆きを主のみ前に注ぎ出すときの祈 主よ、わたしの祈をお聞きください。わたしの叫びをみ前に至らせてください。

A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before Jehovah. Jehovah, hear my prayer, and let my cry come unto thee.

2 わたしの悩みの日にみ顔を隠すことなく、あなたの耳をわたしに傾け、わが呼ばわる日に、すみやかにお答えください。

Hide not thy face from me: in the day of my trouble, incline thine ear unto me; in the day I call, answer me speedily.

3 わたしの日は煙のように消え、わたしの骨は炉のように燃えるからです。

For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as a firebrand.

4 わたしの心は草のように撃たれて、しおれました。わたしはパンを食べることを忘れました。

My heart is smitten and withered like grass; yea, I have forgotten to eat my bread.

5 わが嘆きの声によってわたしの骨はわたしの肉に着きます。

By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones cleave to my flesh.

6 わたしは荒野のはげたかのごとく、荒れた跡のふくろうのようです。

I am become like the pelican of the wilderness, I am as an owl in desolate places;

7 わたしは眠らずに屋根にひとりいるすずめのようです。

I watch, and am like a sparrow alone upon the housetop.

8 わたしの敵はひねもす、わたしをそしり、わたしをあざける者はわが名によってのろいます。

Mine enemies reproach me all the day; they that are mad against me swear by me.

9 わたしは灰をパンのように食べ、わたしの飲み物に涙を交えました。

For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,

10 これはあなたの憤りと怒りのゆえです。あなたはわたしをもたげて投げすてられました。

Because of thine indignation and thy wrath; for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

11 わたしのよわいは夕暮の日影のようです。わたしは草のようにしおれました。

My days are like a lengthened-out shadow, and I, I am withered like grass.

12 しかし主よ、あなたはとこしえにみくらに座し、そのみ名はよろず代に及びます。

But thou, Jehovah, abidest for ever, and thy memorial from generation to generation.

13 あなたは立ってシオンをあわれまれるでしょう。これはシオンを恵まれる時であり、定まった時が来たからです。

Thou wilt rise up, thou wilt have mercy upon Zion: for it is the time to be gracious to her, for the set time is come.

14 あなたのしもべはシオンの石をも喜び、そのちりをさえあわれむのです。

For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour her dust.

15 もろもろの国民は主のみ名を恐れ、地のもろもろの王はあなたの栄光を恐れるでしょう。

And the nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

16 主はシオンを築き、その栄光をもって現れ、

When Jehovah shall build up Zion, he will appear in his glory.

17 乏しい者の祈をかえりみ、彼らの願いをかろしめられないからです。

He will regard the prayer of the destitute one, and not despise their prayer.

18 きたるべき代のために、この事を書きしるしましょう。そうすれば新しく造られる民は、主をほめたたえるでしょう。

This shall be written for the generation to come; and a people that shall be created shall praise Jah:

19 主はその聖なる高き所から見おろし、天から地を見られた。

For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from the heavens hath Jehovah beheld the earth,

20 これは捕われ人の嘆きを聞き、死に定められた者を解き放ち、

To hear the groaning of the prisoner, to loose those that are appointed to die;

21 人々がシオンで主のみ名をあらわし、エルサレムでその誉をあらわすためです。

That the name of Jehovah may be declared in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem,

22 その時もろもろの民、もろもろの国はともに集まって、主に仕えるでしょう。

When the peoples shall be gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve Jehovah.

23 主はわたしの力を中途でくじき、わたしのよわいを短くされました。

He weakened my strength in the way, he shortened my days.

24 わたしは言いました、「わが神よ、どうか、わたしのよわいの半ばでわたしを取り去らないでください。あなたのよわいはよろず代に及びます」と。

I said, My God, take me not away in the midst of my days! ...Thy years are from generation to generation.

25 あなたはいにしえ、地の基をすえられました。天もまたあなたのみ手のわざです。

Of old hast thou founded the earth, and the heavens are the work of thy hands:

26 これらは滅びるでしょう。しかしあなたは長らえられます。これらはみな衣のように古びるでしょう。あなたがこれらを上着のように替えられると、これらは過ぎ去ります。

They shall perish, but thou continuest; and all of them shall grow old as a garment: as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed.

27 しかしあなたは変ることなく、あなたのよわいは終ることがありません。

But thou art the Same, and thy years shall have no end.

28 あなたのしもべの子らは安らかに住み、その子孫はあなたの前に堅く立てられるでしょう。

The children of thy servants shall abide, and their seed shall be established before thee.
