ミカ書 3
1 わたしは言った、ヤコブのかしらたちよ、イスラエルの家のつかさたちよ、聞け、公義はあなたがたの知っておるべきことではないか。
And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
2 あなたがたは善を憎み、悪を愛し、わが民の身から皮をはぎ、その骨から肉をそぎ、
Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
3 またわが民の肉を食らい、その皮をはぎ、その骨を砕き、これを切りきざんで、なべに入れる食物のようにし、大なべに入れる肉のようにする。
Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
4 こうして彼らが主に呼ばわっても、主はお答えにならない。かえってその時には、み顔を彼らに隠される。彼らのおこないが悪いからである。
Then shall they cry unto YHWH, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
5 わが民を惑わす預言者について主はこう言われる、彼らは食べ物のある時には、「平安」を叫ぶけれども、その口に何も与えない者にむかっては、宣戦を布告する。
Thus saith YHWH concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
6 それゆえ、あなたがたには夜があっても幻がなく、暗やみがあっても占いがない。太陽はその預言者たちに没し、昼も彼らの上に暗くなる。
Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
7 先見者は恥をかき、占い師は顔をあからめ、彼らは皆そのくちびるをおおう。神の答がないからである。
Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of Elohim.
8 しかしわたしは主のみたまによって力に満ち、公義と勇気とに満たされ、ヤコブにそのとがを示し、イスラエルにその罪を示すことができる。
But truly I am full of power by the spirit of YHWH, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
9 ヤコブの家のかしらたち、イスラエルの家のつかさたちよ、すなわち公義を憎み、すべての正しい事を曲げる者よ、これを聞け。
Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.
10 あなたがたは血をもってシオンを建て、不義をもってエルサレムを建てた。
They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11 そのかしらたちは、まいないをとってさばき、その祭司たちは価をとって教え、その預言者たちは金をとって占う。しかもなお彼らは主に寄り頼んで、「主はわれわれの中におられるではないか、だから災はわれわれに臨むことがない」と言う。
The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon YHWH, and say, Is not YHWH among us? none evil can come upon us.
12 それゆえ、シオンはあなたがたのゆえに田畑となって耕され、エルサレムは石塚となり、宮の山は木のおい茂る高い所となる。
Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
