創世記 5
1 アダムの系図は次のとおりである。神が人を創造された時、神をかたどって造り、
This is the book of the generations of Adam [Human, Red earth]. In the day that God created man, he made him in God’s likeness.
2 彼らを男と女とに創造された。彼らが創造された時、神は彼らを祝福して、その名をアダムと名づけられた。
He created them male and female, and blessed them. On the day they were created, he named them “Adam [Human, Red earth]”.
3 アダムは百三十歳になって、自分にかたどり、自分のかたちのような男の子を生み、その名をセツと名づけた。
Adam [Human, Red earth] lived one hundred thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth [Appointed].
4 アダムがセツを生んで後、生きた年は八百年であって、ほかに男子と女子を生んだ。
The days of Adam [Human, Red earth] after he became the father of Seth [Appointed] were eight hundred years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.
5 アダムの生きた年は合わせて九百三十歳であった。そして彼は死んだ。
All the days that Adam [Human, Red earth] lived were nine hundred thirty years, then he died.
6 セツは百五歳になって、エノスを生んだ。
Seth [Appointed] lived one hundred five years, then became the father of Enosh.
7 セツはエノスを生んだ後、八百七年生きて、男子と女子を生んだ。
Seth [Appointed] lived after he became the father of Enosh eight hundred seven years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
8 セツの年は合わせて九百十二歳であった。そして彼は死んだ。
All of the days of Seth [Appointed] were nine hundred twelve years, then he died.
9 エノスは九十歳になって、カイナンを生んだ。
Enosh lived ninety years, and became the father of Kenan.
10 エノスはカイナンを生んだ後、八百十五年生きて、男子と女子を生んだ。
Enosh lived after he became the father of Kenan, eight hundred fifteen years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
11 エノスの年は合わせて九百五歳であった。そして彼は死んだ。
All of the days of Enosh were nine hundred five years, then he died.
12 カイナンは七十歳になって、マハラレルを生んだ。
Kenan lived seventy years, then became the father of Mahalalel.
13 カイナンはマハラレルを生んだ後、八百四十年生きて、男子と女子を生んだ。
Kenan lived after he became the father of Mahalalel eight hundred forty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters
14 カイナンの年は合わせて九百十歳であった。そして彼は死んだ。
and all of the days of Kenan were nine hundred ten years, then he died.
15 マハラレルは六十五歳になって、ヤレドを生んだ。
Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Jared.
16 マハラレルはヤレドを生んだ後、八百三十年生きて、男子と女子を生んだ。
Mahalalel lived after he became the father of Jared eight hundred thirty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
17 マハラレルの年は合わせて八百九十五歳であった。そして彼は死んだ。
All of the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety-five years, then he died.
18 ヤレドは百六十二歳になって、エノクを生んだ。
Jared lived one hundred sixty-two years, then became the father of Enoch.
19 ヤレドはエノクを生んだ後、八百年生きて、男子と女子を生んだ。
Jared lived after he became the father of Enoch eight hundred years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
20 ヤレドの年は合わせて九百六十二歳であった。そして彼は死んだ。
All of the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty-two years, then he died.
21 エノクは六十五歳になって、メトセラを生んだ。
Enoch lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Methuselah.
22 エノクはメトセラを生んだ後、三百年、神とともに歩み、男子と女子を生んだ。
After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters.
23 エノクの年は合わせて三百六十五歳であった。
All the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years.
24 エノクは神とともに歩み、神が彼を取られたので、いなくなった。
Enoch walked with God, and he was not found, for God took him.
25 メトセラは百八十七歳になって、レメクを生んだ。
Methuselah lived one hundred eighty-seven years, then became the father of Lamech.
26 メトセラはレメクを生んだ後、七百八十二年生きて、男子と女子を生んだ。
Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
27 メトセラの年は合わせて九百六十九歳であった。そして彼は死んだ。
All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty-nine years, then he died.
28 レメクは百八十二歳になって、男の子を生み、
Lamech lived one hundred eighty-two years, then became the father of a son.
29 「この子こそ、主が地をのろわれたため、骨折り働くわれわれを慰めるもの」と言って、その名をノアと名づけた。
He named him Noah [Rest], saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which Adonai has cursed.”
30 レメクはノアを生んだ後、五百九十五年生きて、男子と女子を生んだ。
Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah [Rest] five hundred ninety-five years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
31 レメクの年は合わせて七百七十七歳であった。そして彼は死んだ。
All the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy-seven years, then he died.
32 ノアは五百歳になって、セム、ハム、ヤペテを生んだ。
Noah [Rest] was five hundred years old, then Noah [Rest] became the father of Shem [Name], Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion], and Japheth [Enlargement, Spreading wide].
