1 人々は神の箱をかき入れて、ダビデがそのために張った幕屋のうちに置き、そして燔祭と酬恩祭を神の前にささげた。
So they brought the ark of Elohim, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before Elohim.
2 ダビデは燔祭と酬恩祭をささげ終えたとき、主の名をもって民を祝福し、
And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of YHWH.
3 イスラエルの人々に男にも女にもおのおのパン一つ、肉一切れ、干ぶどう一かたまりを分け与えた。
And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
4 ダビデはまたレビびとのうちから主の箱の前に仕える者を立てて、イスラエルの神、主をあがめ、感謝し、ほめたたえさせた。
And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of YHWH, and to record, and to thank and praise YHWH Elohim of Israel:
5 楽長はアサフ、その次はゼカリヤ、エイエル、セミラモテ、エヒエル、マッタテヤ、エリアブ、ベナヤ、オベデ・エドム、エイエルで、彼らは立琴と琴を弾じ、アサフはシンバルを打ち鳴らし、
Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;
6 祭司ベナヤとヤハジエルは神の契約の箱の前でつねにラッパを吹いた。
Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of Elohim.
7 その日ダビデは初めてアサフと彼の兄弟たちを立てて、主に感謝をささげさせた。
Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank YHWH into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
8 主に感謝し、そのみ名を呼び、そのみわざをもろもろの民の中に知らせよ。
Give thanks unto YHWH, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
9 主にむかって歌え、主をほめ歌え。そのもろもろのくすしきみわざを語れ。
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
10 その聖なるみ名を誇れ。どうか主を求める者の心が喜ぶように。
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek YHWH.
11 主とそのみ力とを求めよ。つねにそのみ顔をたずねよ。
Seek YHWH and his strength, seek his face continually.
Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
13 そのしもべアブラハムのすえよ、その選ばれたヤコブの子らよ。主のなされたくすしきみわざと、その奇跡と、そのみ口のさばきとを心にとめよ。
O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 彼はわれわれの神、主にいます。そのさばきは全地にある。
He is YHWH our Elohim; his judgments are in all the earth.
15 主はとこしえにその契約をみこころにとめられる。これはよろずよに命じられたみ言葉であって、
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
16 アブラハムと結ばれた契約、イサクに誓われた約束である。
Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
17 主はこれを堅く立ててヤコブのために定めとし、イスラエルのためにとこしえの契約として、
And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 言われた、「あなたにカナンの地を与えて、あなたがたの受ける嗣業の分け前とする」と。
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
19 その時、彼らの数は少なくて、数えるに足らず、かの国で旅びととなり、
When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
20 国から国へ行き、この国からほかの民へ行った。
And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
21 主は人の彼らをしえたげるのをゆるされず、彼らのために王たちを懲しめて、
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
22 言われた、「わが油そそがれた者たちにさわってはならない。わが預言者たちに害を加えてはならない」と。
Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
23 全地よ、主に向かって歌え。日ごとにその救を宣べ伝えよ。
Sing unto YHWH, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
24 もろもろの国の中にその栄光をあらわし、もろもろの民の中にくすしきみわざをあらわせ。
Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
25 主は大いなるかたにいまして、いとほめたたうべき者、もろもろの神にまさって、恐るべき者だからである。
For great is YHWH, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all elohim.
26 もろもろの民のすべての神はむなしい。しかし主は天を造られた。
For all the elohim of the people are idols: but YHWH made the heavens.
27 誉と威厳とはそのみ前にあり、力と喜びとはその聖所にある。
Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
28 もろもろの民のやからよ、主に帰せよ、栄光と力とを主に帰せよ。
Give unto YHWH, ye kindreds of the people, give unto YHWH glory and strength.
29 そのみ名にふさわしい栄光を主に帰せよ。供え物を携えて主のみ前にきたれ。聖なる装いをして主を拝め。
Give unto YHWH the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship YHWH in the beauty of holiness.
30 全地よ、そのみ前におののけ。世界は堅く立って、動かされることはない。
Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
31 天は喜び、地はたのしみ、もろもろの国民の中に言え、「主は王であられる」と。
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, YHWH reigneth.
32 海とその中に満つるものとは鳴りどよめき、田畑とその中のすべての物は喜べ。
Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
33 そのとき林のもろもろの木も主のみ前に喜び歌う。主は地をさばくためにこられるからである。
Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of YHWH, because he cometh to judge the earth.
34 主に感謝せよ、主は恵みふかく、そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない。
O give thanks unto YHWH; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
35 また言え、「われわれの救の神よ、われわれを救い、もろもろの国民の中からわれわれを集めてお救いください。そうすればあなたの聖なるみ名に感謝し、あなたの誉を誇るでしょう。
And say ye, Save us, O Elohim of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
36 イスラエルの神、主は、とこしえからとこしえまでほむべきかな」と。その時すべての民は「アァメン」と言って主をほめたたえた。
Blessed be YHWH Elohim of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised YHWH.
37 ダビデはアサフとその兄弟たちを主の契約の箱の前にとめおいて、常に箱の前に仕え、日々のわざを行わせた。
So he left there before the ark of the covenant of YHWH Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:
38 オベデ・エドムとその兄弟たちは合わせて六十八人である。またエドトンの子オベデ・エドムおよびホサは門守であった。
And Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:
39 祭司ザドクとその兄弟である祭司たちはギベオンにある高き所で主の幕屋の前に仕え、
And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of YHWH in the high place that was at Gibeon,
40 主がイスラエルに命じられた律法にしるされたすべてのことにしたがって燔祭の壇の上に朝夕たえず燔祭を主にささげた。
To offer burnt offerings unto YHWH upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of YHWH, which he commanded Israel;
41 また彼らとともにヘマン、エドトンおよびほかの選ばれて名をしるされた者どもがいて、主のいつくしみの世々限りなきことについて主に感謝した。
And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to YHWH, because his mercy endureth for ever;
42 すなわちヘマンおよびエドトンは彼らとともにいて、ラッパ、シンバルおよびその他の聖歌のための楽器をとって音楽を奏し、エドトンの子らは門を守った。
And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of Elohim. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.
43 こうして民は皆おのおの家に帰り、ダビデはその家族を祝福するために帰って行った。
And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
