歴代誌Ⅰ 16
1 人々は神の箱をかき入れて、ダビデがそのために張った幕屋のうちに置き、そして燔祭と酬恩祭を神の前にささげた。
So they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tabernacle which David pitched for it; and they offered whole-burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.
2 ダビデは燔祭と酬恩祭をささげ終えたとき、主の名をもって民を祝福し、
And David finished offering up whole-burnt-offerings and peace-offerings, and blessed the people in the name of the Lord.
3 イスラエルの人々に男にも女にもおのおのパン一つ、肉一切れ、干ぶどう一かたまりを分け与えた。
And he divided to every man of Israel (both men and women), to [every] man one baker's loaf, and a cake.
4 ダビデはまたレビびとのうちから主の箱の前に仕える者を立てて、イスラエルの神、主をあがめ、感謝し、ほめたたえさせた。
And he appointed before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, Levites to minister [and] lift up the voice, and to give thanks and praise the Lord God of Israel:
5 楽長はアサフ、その次はゼカリヤ、エイエル、セミラモテ、エヒエル、マッタテヤ、エリアブ、ベナヤ、オベデ・エドム、エイエルで、彼らは立琴と琴を弾じ、アサフはシンバルを打ち鳴らし、
Asaph [was] the chief, and next to him Zacharias, Jeiel, Semiramoth, and Jeiel, Mattathias, Eliab, and Banaeas, and Abdedom: and Jeiel sounding with musical instruments, lutes [and] harps, and Asaph with cymbals:
6 祭司ベナヤとヤハジエルは神の契約の箱の前でつねにラッパを吹いた。
and Banaeas and Oziel the priests [sounding] continually with trumpets before the ark of the covenant of God in that day.
7 その日ダビデは初めてアサフと彼の兄弟たちを立てて、主に感謝をささげさせた。
Then David first gave orders to praise the Lord by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
8 主に感謝し、そのみ名を呼び、そのみわざをもろもろの民の中に知らせよ。
Song. Give thanks to the Lord, call upon him by his name, make known his designs among the people.
9 主にむかって歌え、主をほめ歌え。そのもろもろのくすしきみわざを語れ。
Sing [songs] to him, and sing hymns to him, relate to all [people] his wonderful deeds, which the Lord has wrought.
10 その聖なるみ名を誇れ。どうか主を求める者の心が喜ぶように。
Praise his holy name, the heart that seeks his pleasure shall rejoice.
11 主とそのみ力とを求めよ。つねにそのみ顔をたずねよ。
Seek the Lord and be strong, seek his face continually.
Remember his wonderful works which he has wrought, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
13 そのしもべアブラハムのすえよ、その選ばれたヤコブの子らよ。主のなされたくすしきみわざと、その奇跡と、そのみ口のさばきとを心にとめよ。
[ye] seed of Israel his servants, [ye] seed of Jacob his chosen ones.
14 彼はわれわれの神、主にいます。そのさばきは全地にある。
He [is] the Lord our God; his judgments [are] in all the earth.
15 主はとこしえにその契約をみこころにとめられる。これはよろずよに命じられたみ言葉であって、
Let us remember his covenant for ever, his word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
16 アブラハムと結ばれた契約、イサクに誓われた約束である。
which he covenanted with Abraham, and his oath [sworn] to Isaac.
17 主はこれを堅く立ててヤコブのために定めとし、イスラエルのためにとこしえの契約として、
He confirmed it to Jacob for an ordinance, to Israel [as] an everlasting covenant,
18 言われた、「あなたにカナンの地を与えて、あなたがたの受ける嗣業の分け前とする」と。
saying, To thee will I give the land of Chanaan, the line of your inheritance:
19 その時、彼らの数は少なくて、数えるに足らず、かの国で旅びととなり、
when they were few in number, when they were but little, and dwelt as strangers in it;
20 国から国へ行き、この国からほかの民へ行った。
and went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people.
21 主は人の彼らをしえたげるのをゆるされず、彼らのために王たちを懲しめて、
He suffered not a man to oppress them, and he reproved kings for their sakes,
22 言われた、「わが油そそがれた者たちにさわってはならない。わが預言者たちに害を加えてはならない」と。
saying, Touch not my anointed ones, and deal not wrongfully with my prophets.
23 全地よ、主に向かって歌え。日ごとにその救を宣べ伝えよ。
Sing ye to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation from day to day.
24 もろもろの国の中にその栄光をあらわし、もろもろの民の中にくすしきみわざをあらわせ。
Declare among the nations his glory, his wondrous deeds among all peoples.
25 主は大いなるかたにいまして、いとほめたたうべき者、もろもろの神にまさって、恐るべき者だからである。
For the Lord [is] great, and greatly to be praised: he [is] to be feared above all gods.
26 もろもろの民のすべての神はむなしい。しかし主は天を造られた。
For all the gods of the nations [are] idols; but our God made the heavens.
27 誉と威厳とはそのみ前にあり、力と喜びとはその聖所にある。
Glory and praise [are] in his presence; strength and rejoicing [are] in his place.
28 もろもろの民のやからよ、主に帰せよ、栄光と力とを主に帰せよ。
Give to the Lord, ye families of the nations, give to the Lord glory and strength.
29 そのみ名にふさわしい栄光を主に帰せよ。供え物を携えて主のみ前にきたれ。聖なる装いをして主を拝め。
Give to the Lord the glory [belonging] to his name: take gifts and offer [them] before him; and worship the Lord in his holy courts.
30 全地よ、そのみ前におののけ。世界は堅く立って、動かされることはない。
Let the whole earth fear before him; let the earth be established, and not be moved.
31 天は喜び、地はたのしみ、もろもろの国民の中に言え、「主は王であられる」と。
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth exult; and let them say among the nations, The Lord reigns.
32 海とその中に満つるものとは鳴りどよめき、田畑とその中のすべての物は喜べ。
The sea with its fullness shall resound and the tree of the field, and all things in it.
33 そのとき林のもろもろの木も主のみ前に喜び歌う。主は地をさばくためにこられるからである。
Then shall the trees of the wood rejoice before the Lord, for he is come to judge the earth.
34 主に感謝せよ、主は恵みふかく、そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない。
Give thanks to the Lord, for [it is] good, for his mercy [is] for ever.
35 また言え、「われわれの救の神よ、われわれを救い、もろもろの国民の中からわれわれを集めてお救いください。そうすればあなたの聖なるみ名に感謝し、あなたの誉を誇るでしょう。
And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us, and rescue us from among the heathen, that we may praise thy holy name, and glory in thy praises.
36 イスラエルの神、主は、とこしえからとこしえまでほむべきかな」と。その時すべての民は「アァメン」と言って主をほめたたえた。
Blessed [be] the Lord God of Israel from everlasting and to everlasting: And all the people shall say, Amen. So they praised the Lord.
37 ダビデはアサフとその兄弟たちを主の契約の箱の前にとめおいて、常に箱の前に仕え、日々のわざを行わせた。
And they left there Asaph and his brethren before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to minister before the ark continually, according to the service of each day: from day to day.
38 オベデ・エドムとその兄弟たちは合わせて六十八人である。またエドトンの子オベデ・エドムおよびホサは門守であった。
And Abdedom and his brethren [were] sixty and eight; and Abdedom the son of Idithun, and Osa, [were] to be door-keepers.
39 祭司ザドクとその兄弟である祭司たちはギベオンにある高き所で主の幕屋の前に仕え、
And [they appointed] Sadoc the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the Lord in the high place in Gabaon,
40 主がイスラエルに命じられた律法にしるされたすべてのことにしたがって燔祭の壇の上に朝夕たえず燔祭を主にささげた。
to offer up whole-burnt-offerings continually morning and evening, and according to all things written in the law of the Lord, which he commanded the children of Israel by Moses the servant of God.
41 また彼らとともにヘマン、エドトンおよびほかの選ばれて名をしるされた者どもがいて、主のいつくしみの世々限りなきことについて主に感謝した。
And with him [were] Aeman and Idithun, and the rest chosen out by name to praise the Lord, for his mercy [endures] for ever.
42 すなわちヘマンおよびエドトンは彼らとともにいて、ラッパ、シンバルおよびその他の聖歌のための楽器をとって音楽を奏し、エドトンの子らは門を守った。
And with them [there were] trumpets and cymbals to sound aloud, and musical instruments for the songs of God: and the sons of Idithun [were] at the gate.
43 こうして民は皆おのおの家に帰り、ダビデはその家族を祝福するために帰って行った。
And all the people went every one to his home: and David returned to bless his house.
