ルカの福音書 5
1 さて，群衆が彼に押し迫って，神の言葉を聞いていたときのこと，彼はゲネサレト湖のほとりに立っていた。
And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of YHWH, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
2 湖のほとりに二そうの舟があるのを目にしたが，漁師たちはそれらの舟から下りて，自分たちの網を洗っていた。
And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
3 そのうちの一そうのシモンの舟に乗り込み，彼に陸から少しこぎ出すように頼んだ。腰を下ろして，舟から群衆を教えた。
And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
4 語り終えると，シモンに言った，「深いところにこぎ出して，漁のためにあなた方の網を下ろしなさい」 。
Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 シモンは彼に言った，「師よ，わたしたちは夜通し働いても，何も取れませんでした。でも，あなたのお言葉ですから，網を下ろしてみます」。
And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 それを行なうと，彼らは魚の大群を捕らえ，彼らの網は裂け始めた。
And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
7 彼らはほかの舟にいる仲間たちに，やって来て自分たちを手助けするようにと合図を送った。彼らが来て，両方の舟をいっぱいにしたので，それらは沈み始めた。
And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
8 それで，シモン・ペトロはこれを見て，イエスのひざもとにひれ伏し，言った，「わたしからお離れください。わたしは罪深い男なのです，主よ」。
When Simon Kepha saw it, he fell down at Yahushua ' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O master.
9 というのは，自分たちが捕った魚の多さに，彼も，彼と共にいたすべての者も，びっくりしたからである。
For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
10 また，シモンの仲間であったゼベダイの息子たち，すなわちヤコブとヨハネも同じようであった。 イエスはシモンに言った，「恐れてはいけない。今からのち，あなたは人々を生け捕るだろう」 。
And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Yahushua said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11 彼らは自分たちの舟を陸に着けると，すべてを残して彼に従った。
And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
12 彼がある町にいた間のこと，見よ，全身らい病の男がいた。イエスを見ると，顔を地に伏せて，彼に懇願して言った，「主よ，あなたは，もしそうお望みになれば，わたしを清くすることがおできになります」。
And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Yahushua fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Rabbi, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13 イエスは手を伸ばして彼に触り，こう言った，「わたしはそう望む。清くなりなさい」 。 すぐにらい病は彼から去った。
And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
14 イエスは彼に，だれにも言わないように命じた。 「ただ行って，自分の体を祭司に見せ，あなたの清めのためにモーセの命じたとおりにささげ物をしなさい。人々への証明のためだ」。
And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
15 しかし，彼についての知らせはますます広まって行き，話を聞くため，また自分たちの病弱さを彼にいやしてもらうために，大群衆がやって来た。
But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
16 しかし，彼は寂しい所に引きこもり，祈っていた。
And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
17 ある日，彼が教えていると，ファリサイ人たちと律法の教師たちとがそこに座っていた。ガリラヤとユダヤとのあらゆる村々およびエルサレムから出て来た者たちである。人々をいやすために，主の力が彼と共にあった。
And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of YHWH was present to heal them.
18 見よ，男たちが彼のもとに，体のまひした人を寝床に載せて運んで来た。そして，その人を運び込んでイエスの前に横たえようとした。
And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19 群衆のせいで彼を運び入れる方法が見つからなかったので，屋上に上ってかわらをはがし，そこを通して彼の寝床をイエスの真ん前に下ろした。
And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Yahushua.
20 イエスは彼らの信仰を見て，体のまひした人に言った。「人よ，あなたの罪は許された」。
And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
21 律法学者たちとファリサイ人は，論じ始めて言った，「冒とくを語るこの人はだれなのか。神おひとりのほか，だれが罪を許せるだろうか」。
And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but Elohim alone?
22 しかしイエスは，彼らの考えに気づき，彼らに答えた，「なぜあなた方は心の中でそのように論じているのか。
But when Yahushua perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
23 『あなたの罪は許されている』と告げるのと，『起き上がって歩きなさい』と言うのでは，どちらがたやすいか。
Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
24 だが，人の子が地上で罪を許す権威を持っていることをあなた方が知るために」 （体のまひした人に言った）， 「あなたに告げる。起き上がって，寝床を取り上げて，自分の家に帰りなさい」 。
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy, ) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
25 すぐに彼は人々の前で起き上がり，自分が横たわっていた床を取り上げて，神に栄光をささげながら，自分の家に帰って行った。
And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying YHWH.
26 驚きがすべての者をとらえ，彼らは神に栄光をささげた。彼らは恐れに満たされて言った，「今日は不思議なことを見た」。
And they were all amazed, and they glorified YHWH, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.
27 こうした事の後，イエスは出て行き，収税所に座っているレビという名の徴税人を見て，「わたしに従いなさい！」 と言った。
And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.
28 彼はすべてを残し，立ち上がってイエスに従った。
And he left all, rose up, and followed him.
29 レビは彼のために自分の家で大きな祝宴を催した。徴税人たちやほかの者たちからなる大群衆が彼らと共に横になっていた。
And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.
30 彼らの律法学者たちとファリサイ人たちは，彼の弟子たちに対して不平を言った，「なぜあなた方は，徴税人たちや罪人たちと共に食べたり飲んだりするのか」。
But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
31 イエスは彼らに答えた，「健康な人たちに医者は必要でなく，病気の人たちに必要なのだ。
And Yahushua answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
32 わたしは義人たちではなく，罪人たちを悔い改めへと呼び寄せるために来た」 。
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
33 彼らは彼に言った，「ヨハネの弟子たちはたびたび断食と祈りをし，ファリサイ人の弟子たちも同じようにしているのに，あなたの弟子たちが食べたり飲んだりしているのはなぜですか」。
And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
34 彼は彼らに言った，「あなた方は，花婿の友人たちに，花婿が共にいるのに断食させられるだろうか。
And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
35 だが，花婿が彼らから取り去られる日々が来る。それらの日々には，彼らは断食するだろう」 。
But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
36 たとえでも彼らに語った。「新しい衣から取った布切れを古い衣に当てる人はいない。そんなことをすれば，新しい衣が破けてしまうし，新しい衣から取った布切れは古い衣には合わないだろう。
And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
37 新しいブドウ酒を古い皮袋に入れる人はいない。そんなことをすれば，新しいブドウ酒は皮袋を破裂させ，ブドウ酒は流れ出て，皮はだめになるだろう。
And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
38 そうではなく，新しいブドウ酒は新しい皮袋に入れられるべきだ。そうすればどちらも長持ちするのだ。
But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
39 古いブドウ酒を飲んで，すぐに新しいブドウ酒を欲しがる者はいない。その者は，『古いのが良い』と言うからだ」。
No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
