ルカの福音書 10
1 さて，これらの事ののち，主はほかの七十人を任命し，自分が行こうとしているすべての町と場所へ，自分の先に彼らを二人ずつ遣わした。
After these things the Lord chose seventy others also, and sent them out two by two before His face, into every place and city, where He was about to come.
2 そして彼は弟子たちに言った，「収穫は確かに多いが，働き人が少ない。だから，収穫に働き人を遣わしていただくよう，収穫の主人にお願いしなさい。
And He said to them, The harvest is indeed great, but the laborers are few: therefore pray you the Lord of the harvest, that He may send forth laborers into His harvest.
3 行きなさい。見よ，わたしはあなた方を，オオカミの間に子羊を送り込むようにして遣わす。
Go: behold, I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves.
4 財布も，袋も，サンダルも持って行ってはいけない。道中ではだれにもあいさつしてはいけない。
Take neither purse, nor valise, nor sandals: salute no one by the way.
5 どこでも家に入ったなら，まず，『この家に平安があるように』と言いなさい。
Into whatsoever house you may enter, first say, Peace be unto this house.
6 平安の子がそこにいるなら，あなた方の平安はその者の上にとどまり，いなければ，それはあなた方のもとに戻って来るだろう。
And if the son of peace may be there, your peace shall rest upon it: but if not, it shall return unto you.
7 その家にとどまり，彼らが出す物を食べたり飲んだりしなさい。働き人は自分の報酬を受けるに値するからだ。家から家に行ってはいけない。
Abide in the same house, eating and drinking those things which are with them: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 どこでも町に入って，彼らがあなた方を受け入れるなら，あなた方の前に出されるものを食べなさい。
Into whatsoever city you may enter and they may receive you, eat those things which are placed by you:
9 そこにいる病気の者たちをいやし，彼らに，『神の王国はあなた方に近づいた』と告げなさい。
and heal the sick who are in it, and say to them, The kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.
10 だが，どこでも町に入って，彼らがあなた方を受け入れないなら，その町の通りに出て，こう言いなさい。
And into whatsoever city you may enter, and they may not receive you, having come out into the streets of the same, say,
11 『あなた方の町からわたしたちの足に付いたちりさえも，わたしたちはあなた方に対してぬぐい捨てる。それでも，神の王国があなた方に近づいたというこのことは知っておきなさい』。
Even the dust from your city, that cleaveth to our feet, do we wipe off against you: but know this, that the kingdom of God is at hand.
12 あなた方に告げるが，その日には，ソドムのほうがその町よりは耐えやすいだろう。
For I say unto you, that it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.
13 「災いだ，コラジンよ！ 災いだ，ベトサイダよ！ あなた方の中でなされた強力な業がテュロスやシドンでなされていたなら，彼らはとっくの昔にあら布と灰の中に座って悔い改めていただろう。
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works which were wrought in you had been in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting down in sackcloth and ashes.
14 だが，裁きの時には，テュロスとシドンのほうがあなた方よりは耐えやすいだろう。
Moreover it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.
And thou, Capernaum, art thou not exalted up to heaven? thou shalt be cast down to Hades. (Hadēs g86)
16 あなた方に聞き従う者は，わたしに聞き従うのであり，あなた方を拒む者は，わたしを拒むのだ。わたしを拒む者は，わたしを遣わした方を拒むのだ」 。
He that heareth you heareth me; he that rejecteth you rejecteth me; and he that rejecteth me rejecteth Him that sent me.
17 七十人は喜びながら戻って来て，言った，「主よ，悪霊たちでさえ，あなたの名においてわたしたちに服するのです！」
And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subordinated to us in thy name.
18 彼は彼らに言った，「わたしは，サタンが天からいなずまのように落ちたのを見た。
And He said to them, I saw Satan having fallen as the lightning from heaven.
19 見よ，わたしはあなた方に蛇やサソリを踏みつける権威，また敵のすべての力を支配する権威を与えた。あなた方を害するものは何もない。
Behold I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall hurt you.
20 それでも，霊たちがあなた方に服することを喜ぶのではなく，あなた方の名が天において書き記されたことを喜びなさい」。
Moreover do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice that your names are written in the heavens.
21 まさにその時，イエスは聖霊において喜び，また言った，「ああ，父よ，天地の主よ，わたしはあなたに感謝します。あなたはこれらの事を賢い者や理解力のある者から隠し，それを幼子たちに明らかにされたからです。そうです，父よ，そのようにして，あなたのみ前で意にかなうことが生じたのです」 。
At the same hour He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I praise thee, O Father, Lord of the heaven and the earth, because thou hast hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and revealed them to babes: yea, Father, because it was thus pleasing in thy sight.
22 弟子たちのほうを振り向いて，言った，「すべての事が，わたしの父によってわたしに引き渡されている。子を知っている者は父のほかにはおらず，父を知っている者は子と子が明らかにしたいと望む者のほかにはいない」 。
And turning to His disciples, He said, All things have been delivered to me by my Father: and no one knoweth who the Son is, except the Father; and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whom He may wish to reveal Him.
23 弟子たちのほうを振り向いて，彼らだけに言った，「あなた方の見ているものを見るその目は幸いだ。
And turning to His disciples, privately He said, Happy are your eyes, seeing those things which you see.
24 あなた方に告げるが，多くの預言者たちと王たちは，あなた方が見ているものを見たいと願ったのにそれを見ず，あなた方が聞いていることを聞きたいと願ったのにそれを聞かなかったからだ」 。
For I say unto you, that many kings and prophets desired to see those things which you see, and saw them not; and to hear those things which you hear, and heard them not.
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up tempting Him, saying, Teacher, having done what shall I inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
26 イエスは彼に言った，「律法には何と書かれているか。あなたはそれをどう読んでいるのか」 。
He said to him, What has been written in the law? how do you read it?
27 彼は答えた，「あなたは，心を尽くし，魂を尽くし，力を尽くし，思いを尽くして，あなたの神なる主を愛さなければならない。そして，隣人を自分自身のように愛さなければならない」。
And he responding said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with divine love from all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.
28 イエスは彼に言った，「あなたは正しく答えた。それを行ないなさい。そうすれば生きるだろう」。
And He said to him, You answered correctly: do this, and you shall live.
29 しかし彼は，自分を正当化したいと思って，イエスに答えた，「わたしの隣人とはだれですか」。
But he, wishing to justify himself, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor?
30 イエスは答えた，「ある人がエルサレムからエリコに下って行く途中，強盗たちの手中に落ちた。彼らは彼の衣をはぎ，殴りつけ，半殺しにして去って行った。
Jesus responding said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho; and fell among thieves, who indeed having stripped him of his raiment, administered blows, went away, leaving him half dead.
31 たまたまある祭司がその道を下って来た。彼を見ると，反対側を通って行ってしまった。
And by chance a certain priest came down that way: and seeing him, passed by on the other side.
32 同じように一人のレビ人も，その場所に来て，彼を見ると，反対側を通って行ってしまった。
And likewise also a Levite, being at the place, coming and seeing, passed by on the other side.
33 ところが，旅行していたあるサマリア人が，彼のところにやって来た。彼を見ると，哀れみに動かされ，
And a certain Samaritan, on a journey, came near him: and seeing, had compassion on him,
34 彼に近づき，その傷に油とぶどう酒を注いで包帯をしてやった。彼を自分の家畜に乗せて，宿屋に連れて行き，世話をした。
and having come to him, he bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine: and having mounted him on his own beast, carried him to a tavern, and cared for him.
35 次の日，出発するとき，二デナリを取り出してそこの主人に渡して，言った，『この人の世話をして欲しい。何でもこれ以外の出費があれば，わたしが戻って来たときに返金するから』。
And on the morrow, taking out two denaria, gave them to the host, and said, Care for him; and whatsoever you expend in addition, on my return, I will pay you.
36 さて，あなたは，この三人のうちのだれが，強盗たちの手中に落ちた人の隣人になったと思うか」 。
Which one of these three seems to you to have been the neighbor of him who fell among the thieves?
37 彼は言った，「その人にあわれみを示した者です」。 するとイエスは彼に言った，「行って，同じようにしなさい」 。
And he said, The one having done mercy with him. And Jesus said to him, Go, thou, and do likewise.
38 彼らが進んで行くうちに，彼はある村に入り，マルタという名の女が彼を自分の家に迎えた。
And it came to pass while they were going round, He also came into a certain village: and a certain woman by name Martha received Him into her house.
39 彼女にはマリアという姉妹がいたが，イエスの足もとに座って，その言葉を聞いていた。
And there was a sister to her called Mary, who indeed sitting down at the feet of the Lord, continued to hear his word:
40 しかしマルタは，多くの給仕で取り乱していた。そこで彼女は彼のもとに上がって来て言った，「主よ，わたしの姉妹がわたしだけに給仕をさせているのを何とも思われないのですか。ですから，わたしを手伝うよう彼女におっしゃってください」。
and Martha was very busy about much serving. And standing over Him, she said, Lord, is there no care to thee that my sister has left me to serve alone? then say to her that she must assist me.
41 イエスは彼女に答えた，「マルタ，マルタ，あなたは多くのことを心配して動転している。
And the Lord responding said to her, Martha, Martha, you are solicitous and encumbered concerning many things:
42 だが，必要なのは一つだけだ。マリアは良いほうを選んだのだ。それが彼女から取り去られることはないだろう」 。
but there is need of one thing: for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken from her.
