詩篇 90
1 主よなんぢは往古より世々われらの居所にてましませり
Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.
2 山いまだ生いでず汝いまだ地と世界とをつくりたまはざりしとき 永遠よりとこしへまでなんぢは神なり
Before the mountains were brought forth, before even you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.
3 なんぢ人を塵にかへらしめて宣はく 人の子よなんぢら歸れと
You turn man to destruction; and say, Return, all of you children of men.
4 なんぢの目前には千年もすでにすぐる昨日のごとく また夜間のひとときにおなじ
For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
5 なんぢこれらを大水のごとく流去らしめたまふ かれらは一夜の寝のごとく朝にはえいづる靑草のごとし
You carry them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which grows up.
6 朝にはえいでてさかえ夕にはかられて枯るなり
In the morning it flourishes, and grows up; in the evening it is cut down, and withers.
7 われらはなんぢの怒によりて消うせ 汝のいきどほりによりて怖まどふ
For we are consumed by your anger, and by your wrath are we troubled.
8 汝われらの不義をみまへに置 われらの隠れたるつみを聖顔のひかりのなかにおきたまへり
You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your countenance.
9 われらのもろもろの日はなんぢの怒によりて過去り われらがすべての年のつくるは一息のごとし
For all our days are passed away in your wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
10 われらが年をふる日は七十歳にすぎず あるひは壯やかにして八十歳にいたらん されどその誇るところはただ勤勞とかなしみとのみ その去ゆくこと速かにしてわれらもまた飛去れり
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
11 誰かなんぢの怒のちからを知らんや たれか汝をおそるる畏にたくらべて汝のいきどほりをしらんや
Who knows the power of your anger? even according to your fear, so is your wrath.
12 願くはわれらにおのが日をかぞふることををしへて智慧のこころを得しめたまへ
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
13 ヱホバよ歸りたまへ斯ていくそのときを歴たまふや ねがはくは汝のしもべらに係れるみこころを變へたまへ
Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent you concerning your servants.
14 ねがはくは朝にわれらを汝のあはれみにてあきたらしめ 世をはるまで喜びたのしませたまへ
O satisfy us early with your mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 汝がわれらを苦しめたまへるもろもろの日と われらが禍害にかかれるもろもろの年とにたくらべて我儕をたのしませたまへ
Make us glad according to the days wherein you have afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
16 なんぢの作爲をなんぢの僕等に なんぢの榮光をその子等にあらはしたまへ
Let your work appear unto your servants, and your glory unto their children.
17 斯てわれらの神ヱホバの佳美をわれらのうへにのぞましめ われらの手のわざをわれらのうへに確からしめたまへ 願くはわれらの手のわざを確からしめたまへ
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish you the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish you it.
