民数記 5
1 ヱホバ、モーセに告て言たまはく
YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
2 イスラエルの子孫に命じて癩病人と流出ある者と死骸に汚されたる者とを盡く營の外に出さしめよ
"Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper, and everyone who has an issue, and whoever is unclean by the dead.
3 男女をわかたず汝等これを出して營の外に居しめ彼等をしてその營を汚さしむべからず我その諸營の中に住なり
Both you shall put male and female outside of the camp; that they not defile their camp, in the midst of which I dwell."
4 イスラエルの子孫かく爲して之を營の外に出せりすなはちヱホバのモーセに告たまひし如くにイスラエルの子孫然なしぬ
The children of Israel did so, and put them out outside of the camp; as YHWH spoke to Moses, so did the children of Israel.
5 ヱホバまたモーセに告て言たまはく
YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
6 イスラエルの子孫に告よ男または女もし人の犯す罪を犯してヱホバに悖りその身罪ある者とならば
"Speak to the children of Israel: When a man or woman commits any sin that men commit, so as to trespass against YHWH, and that soul is guilty;
7 その犯せし罪を言あらはしその物の代價にその五分の一を加へてこれを己が罪を犯せる者に付してその償を爲べし
then he shall confess his sin which he has done, and he shall make restitution for his guilt in full, and add to it the fifth part of it, and give it to him in respect of whom he has been guilty.
8 然ど若その罪の償を受べき親戚その人にあらざる時はその罪の償をヱホバになして之を祭司に歸せしむべしまた彼のために用ひて贖をなすところの贖罪の牡羊も祭司に歸す
But if the man has no kinsman to whom restitution may be made for the guilt, the restitution for guilt which is made to YHWH shall be the priest's; besides the ram of the atonement, by which atonement shall be made for him.
9 イスラエルの子孫の擧祭となして祭司に携へ來る所の聖物は皆祭司に歸す
Every heave offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they present to the priest, shall be his.
10 諸の人の聖別て献る物は祭司に歸し凡て人の祭司に付す物は祭司に歸するなり
Every man's holy things shall be his: whatever any man gives the priest, it shall be his."
11 ヱホバ、モーセに告て言たまはく
YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
12 イスラエルの子孫に告てこれに言へ人の妻道ならぬ事を爲てその夫に罪を犯すあり
"Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them: If any man's wife goes astray, and is unfaithful to him,
13 人かれと交合したるにその事夫の目にかくれて露顯ず彼その身を汚したれどこれが證人となる者なく彼またその時に執へられもせざるあり
and a man lies with her carnally, and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband, and is kept close, and she is defiled, and there is no witness against her, and she isn't taken in the act;
14 すなはち妻その身を汚したる事ありて夫猜疑の心を起してその妻を疑ふことあり又は妻その身を汚したる事なきに夫猜疑の心を起してその妻を疑ふことある時は
and the spirit of jealousy comes on him, and he is jealous of his wife, and she is defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy comes on him, and he is jealous of his wife, and she isn't defiled:
15 夫その妻を祭司の許に携へきたり大麥の粉一エパの十分の一をこれがために禮物として持きたるべしその上に油を灌べからずまた乳香を加ふべからず是は猜疑の禮物記念の禮物にして罪を誌えしむる者なればなり
then the man shall bring his wife to the priest, and shall bring her offering for her: the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal. He shall pour no oil on it, nor put frankincense on it, for it is a meal offering of jealousy, a meal offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to memory.
16 祭司はまたその婦人を近く進ませてヱホバの前に立しめ
The priest shall bring her near, and set her before YHWH;
17 瓦の器に聖水を入れ幕屋の下の地の土を取てその水に放ち
and the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water.
18 其婦人をヱホバの前に立せ婦人にその頭を露さしめて記念の禮物すなはち猜疑の禮物をその手に持すべし而して祭司は詛を來らするとこるの苦き水を手に執り
The priest shall set the woman before YHWH, and let the hair of the woman's head go loose, and put the meal offering of memorial in her hands, which is the meal offering of jealousy. The priest shall have in his hand the water of bitterness that brings a curse.
19 婦を誓せてこれに言べし人もし汝と寝たる事あらず汝また汝の夫を措て道ならぬ事を爲て汚穢に染しこと無ば詛を來する此苦水より害を受ること有ざれ
The priest shall cause her to swear, and shall tell the woman, 'If no man has lain with you, and if you haven't gone aside to uncleanness, being under your husband, be free from this water of bitterness that brings a curse.
20 然ど汝もし汝の夫を措き道ならぬ事を爲てその身を汚し汝の夫ならざる人と寝たる事あらば
But if you have gone astray, being under your husband, and if you are defiled, and some man has lain with you besides your husband:'
21 (祭司その婦人をして詛を來らする誓をなさしめて祭司その婦人に言べし)ヱホバ汝の腿を痩しめ汝の腹を脹れしめ汝をして汝の民の指て詛ふ者指て誓ふ者とならしめたまへ
then the priest shall cause the woman to swear with the oath of cursing, and the priest shall tell the woman, 'YHWH make you a curse and an oath among your people, when YHWH allows your thigh to fall away, and your body to swell;
22 また詛を來らするこの水汝の腸にいりて汝の腹を脹れさせ汝の腿を痩させんとその時婦人はアーメン、アーメンと言べし
and this water that brings a curse will go into your bowels, and make your body swell, and your thigh fall away.' The woman shall say, 'Amen, Amen.'
23 而して祭司この詛を書に筆記しその苦水にて之を洗おとし
"The priest shall write these curses on a scroll, and he shall blot them out into the water of bitterness.
24 婦人をしてその詛を來らする水を飮しむべしその詛を來らする水かれの中にいりて苦ならん
He shall make the woman drink the water of bitterness that causes the curse; and the water that causes the curse shall enter into her and become bitter.
25 祭司まづその婦人の手より猜疑の禮物を取りその禮物をヱホバの前に搖てこれを壇に持來り
The priest shall take the meal offering of jealousy out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the meal offering before YHWH, and bring it to the altar.
26 而して祭司其禮物の中より記念の分一握をとりて之を壇の上に焚き然る後婦人にその水を飮しむべし
The priest shall take a handful of the meal offering, as its memorial, and burn it on the altar, and afterward shall make the woman drink the water.
27 その水を之に飮しめたる時はもしかれその身を汚し夫に罪を犯したる事あるに於てはその詛を來らする水かれの中に入て苦くなりその腹脹れその腿痩て自己はその民の指て詛ふ者とならん
When he has made her drink the water, then it shall happen, if she is defiled, and has committed a trespass against her husband, that the water that causes the curse will enter into her and become bitter, and her body will swell, and her thigh will fall away: and the woman will be a curse among her people.
28 然ど彼もしその身を汚しし事あらずして潔からば害を受ずして能く子を生ん
If the woman isn't defiled, but is clean; then she shall be free and will conceive children.
29 是すなはち猜疑の律法なり妻たる者その夫を措き道ならぬ事を爲て身を汚しし時
"This is the law of jealousy, when a wife, being under her husband, goes astray, and is defiled;
30 また夫たる者猜疑の心を起してその妻を疑ふ時はその婦人をヱホバの前におきて祭司その律法のごとく之に行ふべきなり
or when the spirit of jealousy comes on a man, and he is jealous of his wife; then he shall set the woman before YHWH, and the priest shall execute on her all this law.
31 斯せば夫は罪なく妻はその罪を任ん
The man shall be free from iniquity, and that woman shall bear her iniquity."
