ネヘミヤ 記 7
1 石垣を築き扉を設け門を守る者謳歌者およびレビ人を立るにおよびて
Now when the wall was built and I had set up the doors, and the gatekeepers and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 我わが兄弟ハナニおよび城の宰ハナニヤをしてヱルサレムを治めしむ彼は忠信なる人にして衆多の者に超りて神を畏るる者なり
I put my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the governor of the fortress, in charge of Jerusalem; for he was a faithful man and feared God above many.
3 我かれらに言ふ日の熱くなるまではヱルサレムの門を啓くべからず人々の立て守りをる間に門を閉させて汝らこれを堅うせよ汝らヱルサレムの民を番兵に立て各々にその所を守らしめ各々にその家と相對ふ處を守らしめよと
I said to them, “Don’t let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun is hot; and while they stand guard, let them shut the doors, and you bar them; and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, everyone in his watch, with everyone near his house.”
4 邑は廣くして大なりしかどもその内の民は寡くして家は未だ建ざりき
Now the city was wide and large; but the people were few therein, and the houses were not built.
5 我神はわが心に貴き人々牧伯等および民を集めてその名簿をしらぶる思念を起さしめたまへり我最先に上り來りし者等の系圖の書を得て見にその中に書しるして曰く
My God put into my heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be listed by genealogy. I found the book of the genealogy of those who came up at the first, and I found this written in it:
6 往昔バビロンの王ネブカデネザルに擄へられバビロンに遷されたる者のうち俘囚をゆるされてヱルサレムおよびユダに上りおのおの己の邑に歸りし此州の者は左の如し 是皆ゼルバベル、ヱシユア、ネヘミヤ、アザリヤ、ラアミヤ、ナハマニ、モルデカイ、ビルシヤン、ミスペレテ、ビグワイ、ネホム、バアナ等に隨ひ來れり
These are the children of the province who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and who returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, everyone to his city,
7 そのイスラエルの民の人數は是のごとし
who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, and Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
8 パロシの子孫二千百七十二人
The children of Parosh: two thousand and one hundred and seventy-two.
9 シパテヤの子孫三百七十二人
The children of Shephatiah: three hundred and seventy-two.
10 アラの子孫六百五十二人
The children of Arah: six hundred and fifty-two.
11 ヱシユアとヨアブの族たるパハテモアブの子孫二千八百十八人
The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab: two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.
12 エラムの子孫千二百五十四人
The children of Elam: one thousand and two hundred and fifty-four.
13 ザツトの子孫八百四十五人
The children of Zattu: eight hundred and forty-five.
14 ザツカイの子孫七百六十人
The children of Zaccai: seven hundred and sixty.
15 ビンヌイの子孫六百四十八人
The children of Binnui: six hundred and forty-eight.
16 ベバイの子孫六百二十八人
The children of Bebai: six hundred and twenty-eight.
17 アズガデの子孫二千三百二十二人
The children of Azgad: two thousand and three hundred and twenty-two.
18 アドニカムの子孫六百六十七人
The children of Adonikam: six hundred and sixty-seven.
19 ビグワイの子孫二千六十七人
The children of Bigvai: two thousand and sixty-seven.
20 アデンの子孫六百五十五人
The children of Adin: six hundred and fifty-five.
21 ヒゼキヤの家のアテルの子孫九十八人
The children of Ater: of Hezekiah, ninety-eight.
22 ハシユムの子孫三百二十八人
The children of Hashum: three hundred and twenty-eight.
23 ベザイの子孫三百二十四人
The children of Bezai: three hundred and twenty-four.
24 ハリフの子孫百十二人
The children of Hariph: one hundred and twelve.
25 ギベオンの子孫九十五人
The children of Gibeon: ninety-five.
26 ベテレヘムおよびネトパの人百八十八人
The men of Bethlehem and Netophah: one hundred and eighty-eight.
27 アナトテの人百二十八人
The men of Anathoth: one hundred and twenty-eight.
28 ベテアズマウテの人四十二人
The men of Beth Azmaveth: forty-two.
29 キリアテヤリム、ケピラおよびベエロテの人七百四十三人
The men of Kiriath Jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth: seven hundred and forty-three.
30 ラマおよびゲバの人六百二十一人
The men of Ramah and Geba: six hundred and twenty-one.
31 ミクマシの人百二十二人
The men of Michmas: one hundred and twenty-two.
32 ベテルおよびアイの人百二十三人
The men of Bethel and Ai: one hundred and twenty-three.
33 他のネボの人五十二人
The men of the other Nebo: fifty-two.
34 他のエラムの民千二一百五十四人
The children of the other Elam: one thousand and two hundred and fifty-four.
35 ハリムの民三百二十人
The children of Harim: three hundred and twenty.
36 ヱリコの民三百四十五人
The children of Jericho: three hundred and forty-five.
37 ロド、ハデデおよびオノの民七百二十一人
The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono: seven hundred and twenty-one.
38 セナアの子孫三千九百三十人
The children of Senaah: three thousand and nine hundred and thirty.
39 祭司はヱシユアの家のヱダヤの子孫九百七十三人
The priests: The children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua: nine hundred and seventy-three.
40 インメルの子孫千五十二人
The children of Immer: one thousand and fifty-two.
41 パシユルの子孫一千二百四十七人
The children of Pashhur: one thousand and two hundred and forty-seven.
42 ハリムの子孫一千十七人
The children of Harim: one thousand and seventeen.
43 レビ人はホデワの子等ヱシユアとカデミエルの子孫七十四人
The Levites: the children of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, of the children of Hodevah: seventy-four.
44 謳歌者はアサフの子孫百四十八人
The singers: the children of Asaph: one hundred and forty-eight.
45 門を守る者はシヤルムの子孫アテルの子孫タルモンの子孫アツクブの子孫ハテタの子孫シヨバイの子孫百三十八人
The gatekeepers: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai: one hundred and thirty-eight.
46 ネテニ人はジハの子孫ハスパの子孫タバオテの子孫
The temple servants: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth,
47 ケロスの子孫シアの子孫パドンの子孫
the children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon,
48 レバナの子孫ハガバの子孫サルマイの子孫
the children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Salmai,
49 ハナンの子孫ギデルの子孫ガハルの子孫
the children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,
50 レアヤの子孫レヂンの子孫ネコダの子孫
the children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,
51 ガザムの子孫ウザの子孫パセアの子孫
the children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Paseah,
52 ベサイの子孫メウニムの子孫ネフセシムの子孫
the children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephushesim,
53 バクブクの子孫ハクパの子孫ハルホルの子孫
the children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,
54 バヅリテの子孫メヒダの子孫ハルシヤの子孫
the children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
55 バルコスの子孫シセラの子孫テマの子孫
the children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Temah,
56 ネヂアの子孫ハテパの子孫等なり
the children of Neziah, and the children of Hatipha.
57 ソロモンの僕たりし者等の子孫は即ちソタイの子孫ソペレテの子孫ペリダの子孫
The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58 ヤアラの子孫ダルコンの子孫ギデルの子孫
the children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59 シパテヤの子孫ハツテルの子孫ポケレテハツゼバイムの子孫アモンの子孫
the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth Hazzebaim, and the children of Amon.
60 ネテニ人とソロモンの僕たりし者等の子孫とは合せて三百九十二人
All the temple servants and the children of Solomon’s servants were three hundred and ninety-two.
61 またテルメラ、テルハレサ、ケルブ、アドンおよびインメルより上り來れる者ありしがその宗家とその血統とを示してイスラエルの者なるを明かにすることを得ざりき
These were those who went up from Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer; but they could not show their fathers’ houses, nor their offspring, whether they were of Israel:
62 是すなはちデラヤの子孫トビヤの子孫ネコダの子孫にして合せて六百四十二人
The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda: six hundred and forty-two.
63 祭司の中にホバヤの子孫ハツコヅの子孫バルジライの子孫ありバルジライはギレアデ人バルジライの女を妻に娶りてその名を名りしなり
Of the priests: the children of Hobaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
64 是等の者系圖に載る者等の中にその籍を尋ねたれども在ざりき是故に汚れたる者として祭司の中より除かれたり
These searched for their genealogical records, but couldn’t find them. Therefore they were deemed disqualified and removed from the priesthood.
65 テルシヤタ即ち之に告てウリムとトンミムを帶る祭司の興るまでは至聖物を食ふべからずと言り
The governor told them not to eat of the most holy things until a priest stood up to minister with Urim and Thummim.
66 會衆あはせて四萬二千三百六十人
The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand and three hundred and sixty,
67 この外にその僕婢七千三百三十七人謳歌男女二百四十五人あり
in addition to their male servants and their female servants, of whom there were seven thousand and three hundred and thirty-seven. They had two hundred and forty-five singing men and singing women.
68 その馬七百三十六匹その騾二百四十五匹
Their horses were seven hundred and thirty-six; their mules, two hundred and forty-five;
69 駱駝四百三十五匹驢馬六千七百二十匹
their camels, four hundred and thirty-five; their donkeys, six thousand and seven hundred and twenty.
70 宗家の長の中工事のために物を納めし人々ありテルシヤタは金一千ダリク鉢五十 祭司の衣服五百三十襲を施して庫に納む
Some from amongst the heads of fathers’ households gave to the work. The governor gave to the treasury one thousand darics of gold, fifty basins, and five hundred and thirty priests’ garments.
71 また宗家の長數人は金二萬ダリク銀二千二百斤を工事のために庫に納む
Some of the heads of fathers’ households gave into the treasury of the work twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand and two hundred minas of silver.
72 その餘の民の納めし者は金二萬ダリク銀二千斤祭司の衣服六十七襲なりき
That which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand darics of gold, plus two thousand minas of silver, and sixty-seven priests’ garments.
73 かくて祭司レビ人門を守る者謳歌者民等ネテニ人およびイスラエル人すべてその邑々に住り／イスラエルの子孫かくてその邑々に住みをりて七月にいたりぬ
So the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, some of the people, the temple servants, and all Israel lived in their cities. When the seventh month had come, the children of Israel were in their cities.
