1 イスラエルの人は皆名簿に記載られたり視よ是は皆イスラエルの列王紀に録さるユダはその罪のためにバビロンに擄へられてゆけり
So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and look, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel: and Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their disobedience.
2 その產業の邑々に最初に住ひし者にイスラエル人 祭司等レビ人およびネテニ人等なり
Now the first inhabitants who lived in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
3 またヱルサレムにはユダの子孫ベニヤミンの子孫およびエフライムとマナセの子孫等住り
In Jerusalem lived of the people of Judah, and of the people of Benjamin, and of the people of Ephraim and Manasseh:
4 即ちユダの子ペレヅの子孫の中にてはアミホデの子ウタイ、アミホデはオムリの子 オムリはイムリの子イムリはバニの子なり
Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the descendants of Perez the son of Judah.
5 シロ族の中にてはシロの長子アサヤおよびその他の子等
Of the Shelanites: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
6 ゼラの子孫の中にてはユエルおよびその兄弟六百九十人
Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel, and their brothers, six hundred ninety.
7 ベニヤミンの子孫の中にてけハセヌアの子ハダヤの子なるメシユラムの子サル
Of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Judah, the son of Hassenuah,
8 ヱロハムの子イブニヤ、ミクリの子なるウジの子エラおよびイブニヤの子リウエルの子なるシパテヤの子メシユラム
and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Mikri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
9 並に彼らの兄弟等その世系によれば合せて九百五十六人是みなその宗家の長たる人々なり
and their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred fifty-six. All these men were heads of ancestral houses by their fathers' houses.
10 また祭司の中にてはヱダヤ、ヨアリブ、ヤキン
Of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, Jakin,
11 およびヒルキヤの子アザリヤ、ヒルキヤはメシユラムの子 メシユラムはザドクの子 ザドクはメラヨテの子 メラヨテはアヒトブの子なり アザリヤは神の室の宰たり
and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
12 またヱロハムの子アダヤ、ヱロハムはバシユルの子 バシユルはマルキヤの子なり またアデエルの子マアセヤ、アデエルはヤゼラの子 ヤゼラはメシユラムの子 メシユラムはメシレモテの子 メシレモテはインメルの子なり
and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
13 また彼らの兄弟等是等は宗家の長たる者にして合せて一千七百六十人あり皆神の室の奉事をなすの力あるものなり
and their brothers, heads of their fathers' houses, one thousand seven hundred sixty; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 レビ人の中にてはハシユブの子シマヤ、ハシユブはアズリカムの子 アズリカムはハシヤビヤの子 是はメラリの子孫なり
Of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
15 またバクバツカル、ヘレシ、ガラルおよびアサフの子ジクリの子なるミカの子マツタニヤ
and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zikri, the son of Asaph,
16 ならびにヱドトンの子ガラルの子なるシマヤの子オバデヤおよびエルカナの子なるアサの子ベレキヤ、エルカナはネトバ人の郷里に住たる者なり
and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 門を守る者はシヤルム、アツクブ、タルモン、アヒマンおよびその兄弟等にしてシヤレムその長たり
The gatekeepers: Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brothers (Shallum was the chief),
18 彼は今日まで東の方なる王の門を守りをる是等はレビの子孫の營の門を守る者なり
who were previously stationed at the King's Gate on the east: they were the gatekeepers for the camp of the descendants of Levi.
19 コラの子エビアサフの子なるコレの子シヤルムおよびその父の家の兄弟等などのコラ人は幕屋の門々を守る職務を主どれりその先祖等はヱホバの營の傍にありてその入口を守れり
Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father's house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent: and their fathers had been over the camp of YHWH, keepers of the entry.
20 エレアザルの子ピネハス昔彼らの主宰たりきヱホバ彼とともに在せり
Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, and YHWH was with him.
21 メシレミヤの子ゼカリヤは集會の幕屋の門を守る者なりき
Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper of the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
22 是みな選ばれて門を守る者にて合せて二百十二人ありき皆その村々の名簿に記載たる者なりしがダビデと先見者サムエルこれをその職に任じたり
All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers in the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their office of trust.
23 彼等とその子孫は順番にヱホバの室すなはち幕屋の門を司どれり
So they and their descendants had the oversight of the gates of the house of YHWH, even the house of the tent, by wards.
24 門を守る者は西東北南の四方に居り
On the four sides were the gatekeepers, toward the east, west, north, and south.
25 またその村々に居る兄弟等は七日ごとに迭り來りて彼らを助けたり
Their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them:
26 門を守る者の長たるこの四人のレビ人はその職にをりて神の室の諸の室と府庫とを司どれり
for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.
27 彼らは番守をなす身なるに因て神の室の四周に舎れり而して朝ごとにこれを開くことをせり
They lodged around the house of God, because that duty was on them; and to them pertained its opening morning by morning.
28 その中に奉事の器皿を司どる者あり是はその數を按べて携へいりそり數を按べて携へいだすべき者なり
Certain of them were in charge of the vessels of service; for by count were these brought in and by count were these taken out.
29 またその他の器皿すなはち聖所の一切の器皿および麥粉 酒 油 乳香 香料を司どる者あり
Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 また祭司の徒の中に香料をもて香膏を製る者あり
Some of the sons of the priests prepared the confection of the spices.
31 コラ人シヤルムの長子なるマツタテヤといふレビ人は鍋にて製るところの物を司どれり
Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.
32 またコハテ人の子孫たるその兄弟等の中に供前のパンを司どりて安息日ごとにこれを調ふる者等あり
Some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the show bread, to prepare it every Sabbath.
33 レビ人の宗家の長たる是等の者は謳歌師にして殿の諸の室に居て他の職を爲ざりき其は日夜その職務にかかりをればなり
These are the singers, heads of ancestral houses of the Levites, who lived in the chambers and were free from other service; for they were employed in their work day and night.
34 是等はレビ人の歴代の宗家の長にして首長たる者なり是等はヱルサレムに住り
These were heads of ancestral houses of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men: these lived at Jerusalem.
35 ギベオンの祖ヱヒエルはギベオンに住りその妻の名はマアカといふ
In Gibeon there lived the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, whose wife's name was Maacah:
36 その長子はアブドン次はツル、キシ、バアル、ネル、ナダブ
and his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 ゲドル、アヒオ、ゼカリヤ、ミクロテ
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 ミクロテ、シメアムを生り彼等もその兄弟等とともにヱルサレムに住てその兄弟等と相對ひ居り
Mikloth became the father of Shimeah. They also lived with their brothers in Jerusalem, over against their brothers.
39 ネルはキシを生み キシはサウルを生み サウルはヨナタン、マルキシユア、アビナダブおよびエシバアタを生り
Ner became the father of Kish; and Kish became the father of Saul; and Saul became the father of Jonathan, and Malkishua, and Abinadab, and Ishbaal.
40 ヨナタンの子はメリバアル、メリバアル、ミカを生り
The son of Jonathan was Mippibaal; and Mippibaal became the father of Micah.
41 ミカの子等はピトン、メレク、タレアおよびアハズ
The sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, and Ahaz.
42 アハズはヤラを生み ヤラはアレメテ、アズマウテおよびジムリを生み ジムリはモザを生み
And Ahaz became the father of Jadah; and Jadah became the father of Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza;
43 モザはピネアを生り ピネアの子はレバヤ その子はエレアサ その子はアゼル
and Moza became the father of Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44 アゼルは六人の子ありきその名は左のごとしアズリカム、ボケル、イシマエル、シヤリヤ、オバデヤ、ハナン是等はアゼルの子なり
Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, his firstborn, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Azariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Azel.
