Zaccaria 6
1 POI alzai di nuovo gli occhi, e riguardai; ed ecco quattro carri, che uscivano d'infra due monti; e quei monti [erano] monti di rame.
Againe, I turned and lift vp mine eyes, and looked: and beholde, there came foure charets out from betweene two mountaines, and the mountaines were mountaines of brasse.
2 Nel primo carro [vi erano] cavalli sauri, e nel secondo carro cavalli morelli;
In the first charet were red horses, and in the second charet blacke horses,
3 e nel terzo carro cavalli bianchi, e nel quarto carro cavalli sauri, faldellati di bianco.
And in the thirde charet white horses, and in the fourth charet, horses of diuers colours, and reddish.
4 Ed io presi a dire all'Angelo che parlava meco: Che [voglion dire] queste cose, signor mio?
Then I answered, and saide vnto the Angell that talked with mee, What are these, my Lord?
5 E l'Angelo rispose, e mi disse: Questi [sono] i quattro spiriti del cielo, che escono dalla presenza del Signore di tutta la terra, dove stanno.
And the Angell answered, and sayde vnto mee, These are the foure spirites of the heauen, which goe foorth from standing with the Lord of all the earth.
6 [Il carro], nel qual [sono] i cavalli morelli, esce verso il paese del Settentrione; ed i bianchi escono dietro a loro; ma i faldellati di bianco escono verso il paese del Mezzodì.
That with the blacke horse went forth into the land of the North, and the white went out after them, and they of diuers colours went forth toward the South countrey.
7 Poi uscirono i sauri, e richiesero di andare a scorrere per la terra. Ed egli disse [loro: ] Andate, scorrete per la terra. Essi adunque scorsero per la terra.
And the reddish went out, and required to go, and passe through the world, and he sayde, Goe passe through the worlde. So they went thorowout the world.
8 Poi egli mi chiamò, e mi parlò, dicendo: Vedi, quelli che escono verso il paese del Settentrione hanno acquetata l'ira mia nel paese del Settentrione.
Then cryed hee vpon me, and spake vnto me, saying, Beholde, these that goe towarde the North countrey, haue pacified my spirit in the North countrey.
9 POI la parola del Signore mi fu [indirizzata], dicendo:
And the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
10 Prendi, d'infra quelli che sono stati in cattività; da Heldai, da Tobia, e da Iedaia; vieni anche in quello stesso giorno, ed entra in casa di Giosia, figliuolo di Sefania, i quali son venuti di Babilolonia;
Take of them of ye captiuitie, euen of Heldai, and of Tobijah, and Iedaiah, which are come from Babel, and come thou the same day, and goe vnto the house of Ioshiah, the sonne of Zephaniah.
11 prendi, [dico, da loro] dell'argento, e dell'oro, e fanne delle corone; e metti[le] sopra il capo di Iosua, figliuolo di Iosadac, sommo sacerdote.
Take euen siluer, and golde, and make crownes, and set them vpon the head of Iehoshua, the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest,
12 E parla a lui, dicendo: Così ha detto il Signor degli eserciti: Ecco un uomo, il cui nome [è: ] Il Germoglio; ed egli germoglierà sotto di sè, ed edificherà il tempio del Signore.
And speake vnto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, and sayth, Behold the man whose name is the Branch, and he shall growe vp out of his place, and he shall build the Temple of the Lord.
13 Ed egli sarà quel ch'edificherà il tempio del Signore, e porterà la gloria; e sederà, e signoreggerà sopra il suo trono, e insieme sarà Sacerdote sopra il suo seggio; e consiglio di pace sarà fra questi due.
Euen hee shall build the Temple of the Lord, and he shall beare the glory, and shall sit and rule vpon his throne, and he shalbe a Priest vpon his throne, and the counsell of peace shall be betweene them both.
14 E quant'[è] alle corone, sieno per Helem, e per Tobia, e per Iedaia, e per Hen, figliuolo di Sefania; per ricordanza nel tempio del Signore.
And the crownes shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Iedaiah, and to Hen the sonne of Zephaniah, for a memoriall in the Temple of the Lord.
15 E que' che son lontani verranno, ed edificheranno nel tempio del Signore; e voi conoscerete che il Signor degli eserciti mi ha mandato a voi; e [questo] avverrà, se pure ascoltate la voce del Signore Iddio vostro.
And they that are farre off, shall come and build in the Temple of the Lord, and ye shall know, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto you. And this shall come to passe, if ye will obey the voyce of the Lord your God.
