Apocalisse 16

1 Ed io udii una gran voce dal tempio, che diceva a' sette angeli; Andate, versate nella terra le coppe dell'ira di Dio.

And I heard [a] loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels; do go and (do pour out *N+kO) the (seven *NO) bowls of the wrath of God into the earth.

2 E il primo andò, e versò la sua coppa in su la terra; e venne un'ulcera maligna, e dolorosa, agli uomini che aveano il marchio della bestia, ed a quelli che adoravano la sua immagine.

And departed the first and poured out the bowl of him (into *N+kO) the earth, and came a sore harm and grievous (upon *N+kO) the men those having the mark of the beast and those worshiping the image of it.

3 Poi, il secondo angelo versò la sua coppa nel mare; ed esso divenne sangue, come di corpo morto; ed ogni anima vivente morì nel mare.

And the second (angel *K) poured out the bowl of him into the sea, and it became blood as of [one] dead, and every soul (living *N+kO) died (that was *no) in the sea.

4 Poi, il terzo angelo versò la sua coppa ne' fiumi, e nelle fonti dell'acque; e divennero sangue.

And the third (angel *K) poured out the bowl of him into the rivers and (into *k) the springs of the waters, and they became blood.

5 Ed io udii l'angelo delle acque, che diceva: Tu sei giusto, o Signore, che sei, e che eri, [che sei] il Santo, d'aver fatti questi giudicii.

And I heard the angel of the waters saying: Righteous (O Lord *K) are, you who [are] being and who was being (and *k) O holy One, because these things You have judged,

6 Poichè essi hanno sparso il sangue de' santi, e de' profeti, tu hai loro altresì dato a bere del sangue; perciocchè ben [ne] son degni.

because [the] blood of saints and of prophets they have poured out, and blood to them (You have given *N+kO) to drink; worthy (for *k) they are.

7 Ed io ne udii un altro, dal lato dell'altare, che diceva: Sì certo, Signore Iddio onnipotente, i tuoi giudicii [son] veraci, e giusti.

And I heard (other from *K) the altar saying: Yes Lord O God Almighty, true and righteous [are] the judgments of You.

8 Poi, il quarto angelo versò la sua coppa sopra il sole; e gli fu dato d'ardere gli uomini con fuoco.

And the fourth (angel *K) poured out the bowl of him upon the sun, and there was given to it to scorch men with fire.

9 E gli uomini furono arsi di grande arsura; e bestemmiarono il nome di Dio, che ha la podestà sopra queste piaghe; e non si ravvidero, per dargli gloria.

And were scorched the men with heat great and they denigrated (the people *O) the name of God who is having authority over plagues these and not did they repent to give Him glory.

10 Poi, il quinto angelo versò la sua coppa in sul trono della bestia; e il suo regno divenne tenebroso, e [gli uomini] si mordevano le lingue per l'affanno;

And the fifth (angel *K) poured out the bowl of him upon the throne of the beast, and became the kingdom of it darkened, and they were gnawing the tongues of them for the distress

11 e bestemmiarono l'Iddio del cielo, per i lor travagli, e per le loro ulcere; e non si ravvidero delle loro opere.

and they blasphemed the God of heaven on account of the distresses of them and on account of the sores of them and not they did repent of the works of them.

12 Poi, il sesto angelo versò la sua coppa in sul gran fiume Eufrate, e l'acqua di esso fu asciutta; acciocchè fosse apparecchiata la via dei re, che [vengono] dal sol levante.

And the sixth (angel *K) poured out the bowl of him upon the river great Euphrates, and was dried up the water of it so that may be prepared the way of the kings from the (rising *N+kO) of the sun.

13 Ed io vidi [uscir] della bocca del dragone, e della bocca della bestia, e della bocca del falso profeta, tre spiriti immondi, a guisa di rane;

And I saw [coming] out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet spirits three unclean (as frogs. *N+kO)

14 perciocchè sono spiriti di demoni, i quali fan segni, ed escon fuori ai re di tutto il mondo, per raunarli alla battaglia di quel gran giorno dell'Iddio onnipotente.

they are for spirits (of demons *N+kO) performing signs which (go forth *N+kO) to the kings (of the earth and *K) of the inhabited [world] whole to gather together them unto the battle of the day (that [one] *k) the great [day] of God the Almighty.

15 (Ecco, io vengo come un ladrone; beato chi veglia, e guarda i suoi vestimenti, acciocchè non cammini nudo, e non si veggano le sue vergogne).

Behold I am coming like a thief. Blessed [is] the [one] watching and keeping the garments of him, so that not naked he may walk and they may see the shame of him.

16 Ed essi li raunarono in un luogo, detto in Ebreo Armagheddon.

And he gathered together them unto the place which is being called in Hebrew Armageddon.

17 Poi, il settimo angelo versò la sua coppa nell'aria; e una gran voce uscì dal tempio del cielo, dal trono, dicendo: È fatto.

And the seventh (angel *K) poured out the bowl of him (upon *N+kO) the air, and came out a voice loud (from *N+kO) the temple (of the heaven *K) from the throne saying; It has been done!

18 E si fecero folgori, e tuoni, e suoni, e gran tremoto; tale che non ne fu giammai un simile, [nè] un così grande, da che gli uomini sono stati sopra la terra.

And there were flashes of lightning and voices and thunders and an earthquake there was great such as not had there been since when (man was *N+KO) upon the earth, so great [was the] earthquake so mighty.

19 E la gran città fu [divisa] in tre parti, e le città delle genti caddero; Dio si ricordò della gran Babilonia, per darle il calice dell'indegnazione della sua ira.

And was [split] the city great into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. and Babylon the great was remembered before God to give to her the cup of the wine of the fury the wrath of Him.

20 Ed ogni isola fuggì, e i monti non furon trovati.

And every island fled, and mountains not were to be found.

21 E cadde dal cielo, in su gli uomini, una gragnuola grossa come del peso d'un talento; e gli uomini bestemmiarono Iddio per la piaga della gragnuola; perciocchè la piaga d'essa era grandissima.

And a hail great about a talent weight comes down out of heaven upon the men. And blasphemed the men God on account of the plague of the hail, for severe is the plague of it exceedingly.
