Salmi 132
1 Cantico di Maalot RICORDATI, Signore, di Davide, E di tutte le sue afflizioni.
The song of greces. Lord, haue thou mynde on Dauid; and of al his myldenesse.
2 Come egli giurò al Signore, [E] fece voto al Possente di Giacobbe, [dicendo: ]
As he swoor to the Lord; he made a vowe to God of Jacob.
3 Se io entro nel tabernacolo della mia casa, Se salgo sopra la lettiera del mio letto;
I schal not entre in to the tabernacle of myn hous; Y schal not stie in to the bed of mi restyng.
4 Se do alcun sonno agli occhi miei, [O] alcun sonnecchiare alle mie palpebre;
I schal not yyue sleep to myn iyen; and napping to myn iye liddis.
5 Infino a tanto che io abbia trovato un luogo al Signore, Degli abitacoli al Possente di Giacobbe.
And rest to my templis, til Y fynde a place to the Lord; a tabernacle to God of Jacob.
6 Ecco, noi abbiamo udito [che l'Arca era stata] nella [contrada] Efratea; [Poi] la trovammo ne' campi di Iaar.
Lo! we herden that arke of testament in Effrata, `that is, in Silo; we founden it in the feeldis of the wode.
7 Entriamo negli abitacoli del Signore; Adoriamo allo scannello de' suoi piedi.
We schulen entre in to the tabernacle of hym; we schulen worschipe in the place, where hise feet stoden.
8 Levati, Signore; Tu, e l'Arca della tua forza, [per entrar] nel tuo riposo.
Lord, rise thou in to thi reste; thou and the ark of thin halewing.
9 I tuoi sacerdoti sieno rivestiti di giustizia, E giubilino i tuoi santi.
Thi prestis be clothid with riytfulnesse; and thi seyntis make ful out ioye.
10 Per amor di Davide, tuo servitore, Non negare al tuo unto la sua richiesta.
For Dauid, thi seruaunt; turne thou not awei the face of thi crist.
11 Il Signore giurò verità a Davide, E non [la] rivocherà, [dicendo]: Io metterò sopra il tuo trono del frutto del tuo ventre.
The Lord swoor treuthe to Dauid, and he schal not make hym veyn; of the fruyt of thi wombe Y schal sette on thi seete.
12 Se i tuoi figliuoli osservano il mio patto, E la mia testimonianza, che io insegnerò loro; [Essi], e i lor figliuoli in perpetuo, Sederanno sopra il tuo trono.
If thi sones schulen kepe my testament; and my witnessingis, these whiche Y schal teche hem. And the sones of hem til in to the world; thei schulen sette on thi seete.
13 Perciocchè il Signore ha eletta Sion; Egli l'ha gradita per sua stanza, dicendo:
For the Lord chees Sion; he chees it in to dwelling to hym silf.
14 Questo [è] il mio riposo in perpetuo, Qui abiterò; perciocchè [questo è il luogo che] io ho desiderato.
This is my reste in to the world of world; Y schal dwelle here, for Y chees it.
15 Io benedirò largamente la sua vittuaglia; Io sazierò di pane i suoi poveri.
I blessynge schal blesse the widewe of it; Y schal fille with looues the pore men of it.
16 E vestirò i suoi sacerdoti [di vesti] di liberazione; E i suoi santi giubileranno in gran letizia.
I schal clothe with heelthe the preestis therof; and the hooli men therof schulen make ful out ioye in ful reioisinge.
17 Quivi farò germogliare un corno a Davide; E terrò accesa una lampana al mio unto.
Thidir Y schal bringe forth the horn of Dauid; Y made redi a lanterne to my crist.
18 Io vestirò i suoi nemici di vergogna; E la sua benda reale fiorirà sopra lui.
I schal clothe hise enemyes with schame; but myn halewing schal floure out on hym.
