Proverbi 11
1 Le bilance false [sono] cosa abbominevole al Signore; Ma il peso giusto gli [è] cosa grata.
Scales of deceit [are] [the] abomination of Yahweh and a weight perfect [is] pleasure his.
2 Venuta la superbia, viene l'ignominia; Ma la sapienza [è] con gli umili.
It comes pride and it came shame and [is] with modest [people] wisdom.
3 L'integrità degli [uomini] diritti li conduce; Ma la perversità de' disleali di distrugge.
[the] integrity of Upright [people] it guides them and [the] crookedness of treacherous [people] (it destroys them. *QK)
4 Le ricchezze non gioveranno al giorno dell'indegnazione; Ma la giustizia riscoterà da morte.
Not it profits wealth in [the] day of fury and righteousness it delivers from death.
5 La giustizia dell'[uomo] intiero addirizza la via di esso; Ma l'empio caderà per la sua empietà.
[the] righteousness of A blameless [person] it makes straight way his and by wickedness his he falls a wicked [person].
6 La giustizia degli [uomini] diritti li riscoterà; Ma i disleali saranno presi per la lor propria malizia.
[the] righteousness of Upright [people] it delivers them and by [the] craving of treacherous [people] they are caught.
7 Quando l'uomo empio muore, la sua aspettazione perisce; E la speranza [ch'egli aveva concepita] delle [sue] forze è perduta.
At [the] death of a person wicked it is lost hope and [the] hope of strength it perishes.
8 Il giusto è tratto fuor di distretta; Ma l'empio viene in luogo suo.
A righteous [person] from distress [is] delivered and he came a wicked [person] in place his.
9 L'ipocrito corrompe il suo prossimo con la [sua] bocca; Ma i giusti [ne] son liberati per conoscimento.
By [the] mouth a godless [person] he ruins neighbor his and by knowledge righteous [people] they are delivered.
10 La città festeggia del bene de' giusti; Ma [vi è] giubilo quando gli empi periscono.
In [the] prosperity of righteous [people] it rejoices a town and when perish wicked [people] a shout of joy.
11 La città è innalzata per la benedizione degli [uomini] diritti; Ma è sovvertita per la bocca degli empi.
By [the] blessing of upright [people] it is exalted a town and by [the] mouth of wicked [people] it is torn down.
12 Chi sprezza il suo prossimo [è] privo di senno; Ma l'uomo prudente tace.
[one who] despises Neighbor his [is] lacking of heart and a person of understanding he keeps quiet.
13 Colui che va sparlando palesa il segreto; Ma chi è leale di spirito cela la cosa.
[one who] goes about A slanderer [is] revealing a secret and a [person] faithful of spirit [is] concealing a matter.
14 Il popolo cade in ruina dove non [son] consigli; Ma [vi è] salute in moltitudine di consiglieri.
When there not [are] wise directions it falls a people and victory [is] in a multitude of counselor[s].
15 L'uomo certamente sofferirà del male, se fa sicurtà per lo strano; Ma chi odia i mallevadori [è] sicuro.
Harm he is harmed for he stood surety for a stranger and [one who] hates those striking hands [is] secure.
16 La donna graziosa otterrà gloria, Come i possenti ottengono ricchezze.
A woman of grace she lays hold of honor and ruthless [people] they take hold of wealth.
17 L'uomo benigno fa bene a sè stesso; Ma il crudele conturba la sua [propria] carne.
[is] dealing bountifully with Self his a person of loyalty and [is] troubling body his a cruel [person].
18 L'empio fa un'opera fallace; Ma [vi è] un premio sicuro per colui che semina giustizia.
A wicked [person] [is] making wage[s] of falsehood and [one who] sows righteousness wage[s] of truth.
19 Così [è] la giustizia a vita, Come chi procaccia il male lo procaccia alla sua morte.
True righteousness [is] to life and [one who] pursues evil [is] to own death his.
20 I perversi di cuore [sono] un abbominio al Signore; Ma quelli che sono intieri di via [son] ciò che gli è grato.
[are] [the] abomination of Yahweh perverse [people] of heart and [are] pleasure his [people] blameless of way.
21 Il malvagio d'ora in ora non resterà impunito; Ma la progenie de' giusti scamperà.
Hand to hand not he will go unpunished an evil [person] and [the] offspring of righteous [people] he will be delivered.
22 Una donna bella, ma scema di senno, [È] un monile d'oro nel grifo d'un porco.
A ring of gold in [the] nose of a pig a woman beautiful and [who] turns aside from discernment.
23 Il desiderio de' giusti non [è] altro che bene; [Ma] la speranza degli empi [è] indegnazione.
[the] desire of Righteous [people] only [is] good [the] hope of wicked [people] [is] fury.
24 Vi è tale che spande, e pur vie più diventa ricco; E tale che risparmia oltre al diritto, e [pur] ne diventa sempre più povero.
There [is one who] scatters and [who is] increased still and [one who] withholds from uprightness only to poverty.
25 La persona liberale sarà ingrassata; E chi annaffia sarà anch'esso annaffiato.
A person of blessing he will be made fat and [one who] gives water also he he will be given water.
26 Il popolo maledirà chi serra il grano; Ma benedizione [sarà] sopra il capo di chi [lo] vende.
[one who] withholds Grain they curse him a people and a blessing [belongs] to [the] head of [one who] sells grain.
27 Chi cerca il bene procaccia benevolenza; Ma il male avverrà a chi lo cerca.
[one who] seeks diligently Good he seeks favor and [one who] seeks carefully evil it will come to him.
28 Chi si confida nelle sue ricchezze caderà; Ma i giusti germoglieranno a guisa di frondi.
[one who] trusts In wealth his he he will fall and like leaf righteous [people] they will bud.
29 Chi dissipa la sua casa possederà del vento; E lo stolto [sarà] servo a chi è savio di cuore.
[one who] troubles Household his he will inherit wind and [will be] a servant a fool of [the] wise of heart.
30 Il frutto del giusto [è] un albero di vita; E il savio prende le anime.
[the] fruit of [the] righteous [is] a tree of Life and [one who] takes people [is] wise.
31 Ecco, il giusto riceve la sua retribuzione in terra; Quanto più [la riceverà] l'empio e il peccatore?
There! a righteous [person] on the earth he is rewarded indeed? for a wicked [person] and a sinner.
