Michea 3
1 OR io ho detto: Deh! ascoltate, capi di Giacobbe, e voi conduttori della casa d'Israele: Non vi [si appartiene] egli di conoscer la dirittura?
And I sayd, Heare, I pray you, O heads of Iaakob, and yee princes of the house of Israel: should not ye knowe iudgement?
2 Essi odiano il bene, ed amano il male; scorticano il mio popolo, e gli strappano la carne d'in su le ossa.
But they hate the good, and loue the euill: they plucke off their skinnes from them, and their flesh from their bones.
3 E ciò che mangiano [è] la carne del mio popolo, e gli traggono la pelle d'addosso, e gli fiaccano le ossa; e tagliano quella a pezzi, come [per metterla] in una pignatta; ed a guisa di carne, [che si mette] in mezzo d'una pentola.
And they eate also the flesh of my people, and flay off their skinne from them, and they breake their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
4 Allora grideranno al Signore, ma egli non risponderà loro; anzi, in quel tempo egli nasconderà la sua faccia da loro, secondo che hanno malvagiamente operato.
Then shall they crye vnto the Lord, but he will not heare them: he wil euen hide his face from them at that time, because they haue done wickedly in their workes.
5 Così ha detto il Signore contro a' profeti, che traviano il mio popolo; che predicando pace, mordono co' lor denti; e se alcuno non dà loro nulla in bocca, bandiscono contro a lui la guerra;
Thus saith the Lord, Concerning the prophets that deceiue my people, and bite them with their teeth, and cry peace, but if a man put not into their mouthes, they prepare warre against him,
6 perciò, [ei] vi [si farà] notte e non [vedrete più] alcuna visione; e vi si farà scuro, e non potrete [più] indovinare; e il sole tramonterà a questi profeti, e il giorno scurerà loro.
Therefore night shalbe vnto you for a vision, and darkenesse shalbe vnto you for a diuination, and the sunne shall goe downe ouer the prophets, and the day shalbe darke ouer them.
7 E i vedenti saranno svergognati, e gl'indovini confusi; e tutti quanti si veleranno il labbro di sopra; perciocchè non [vi sarà] risposta alcuna di Dio.
Then shall the Seers bee ashamed, and the southsayers confounded: yea, they shall all couer their lippes, for they haue none answere of God.
8 Ma quant'è a me, io son ripieno di forza, per lo Spirito del Signore; e di dirittura, e di prodezza, per dichiarare a Giacobbe il suo misfatto, e ad Israele il suo peccato.
Yet notwithstanding I am full of power by the Spirite of the Lord, and of iudgement, and of strength to declare vnto Iaakob his transgression, and to Israel his sinne.
9 Deh! udite questo, capi della casa di Giacobbe, e rettori della casa d'Israele, che abbominate la ragione, e pervertite ogni dirittura;
Heare this, I pray you, ye heades of the house of Iaakob, and princes of the house of Israel: they abhorre iudgement, and peruert all equitie.
10 che edificate Sion di sangue, e Gerusalemme d'iniquità:
They build vp Zion with blood, and Ierusalem with iniquitie.
11 I capi d'essa giudicano per presenti, e i suoi sacerdoti insegnano per prezzo, e i suoi profeti indovinano per danari; e pure [ancora] si appoggiano in sul Signore, dicendo: Non [è] il Signore nel mezzo di noi? male alcuno non ci sopraggiungerà.
The heads thereof iudge for rewardes, and the Priestes thereof teache for hyre, and the prophets thereof prophecie for money: yet wil they leane vpon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among vs? no euill can come vpon vs.
12 Perciò, per cagion vostra Sion sarà arata [come] un campo, e Gerusalemme sarà ridotta in mucchi [di ruine], e il monte del tempio in alti luoghi di selva.
Therefore shall Zion for your sake bee plowed as a field, and Ierusalem shalbe an heape, and the mountaine of the house, as the hye places of the forest.
