Marco 15
1 E SUBITO la mattina, i principali sacerdoti, con gli anziani, e gli Scribi, e tutto il concistoro, tenuto consiglio, legarono Gesù, e lo menarono, e lo misero in man di Pilato.
And anon in the dawning, the hie Priestes helde a Councill with the Elders, and the Scribes, and the whole Council, and bound Iesus, and led him away, and deliuered him to Pilate.
2 E Pilato gli domandò: Sei tu il Re de' Giudei? Ed egli, rispondendo, gli disse: Tu lo dici.
Then Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Iewes? And hee answered, and sayde vnto him, Thou sayest it.
3 E i principali sacerdoti l'accusavano di molte cose; ma egli non rispondeva nulla.
And the hie Priestes accused him of many things.
4 E Pilato da capo lo domandò, dicendo: Non rispondi tu nulla? vedi quante cose [costoro] testimoniano contro a te.
Wherefore Pilate asked him againe, saying, Answerest thou nothing? beholde howe many things they witnesse against thee.
5 Ma Gesù non rispose nulla di più, talchè Pilato se ne maravigliava.
But Iesus answered no more at all, so that Pilate marueiled.
6 Or ogni festa egli liberava loro un prigione, qualunque chiedessero.
Nowe at the feast, Pilate did deliuer a prisoner vnto them, whomesoeuer they woulde desire.
7 Or vi era colui, ch'era chiamato Barabba, ch'era prigione co' suoi compagni di sedizione, i quali avean fatto omicidio nella sedizione.
Then there was one named Barabbas, which was bounde with his fellowes, that had made insurrection, who in the insurrection had committed murder.
8 E la moltitudine, gridando, cominciò a domandare [che facesse] come sempre avea lor fatto.
And the people cried aloude, and began to desire that he woulde doe as he had euer done vnto them.
9 E Pilato rispose loro, dicendo: Volete che io vi liberi il Re de' Giudei?
Then Pilate answered them, and said, Will ye that I let loose vnto you the King of ye Iewes?
10 (Perciocchè riconosceva bene che i principali sacerdoti glielo aveano messo nelle mani per invidia).
For he knewe that the hie Priestes had deliuered him of enuie.
11 Ma i principali sacerdoti incitarono la moltitudine [a chieder] che più tosto liberasse loro Barabba.
But the high Priestes had moued the people to desire that he would rather deliuer Barabbas vnto them.
12 E Pilato, rispondendo, da capo disse loro: Che volete adunque che io faccia di colui che voi chiamate Re de' Giudei?
And Pilate answered, and said againe vnto them, What will ye then that I doe with him, whom ye call the King of the Iewes?
13 Ed essi di nuovo gridarono: Crocifiggilo.
And they cried againe, Crucifie him.
14 E Pilato disse loro: Ma pure, che male ha egli fatto? Ed essi vie più gridavano: Crocifiggilo.
Then Pilate said vnto them, But what euill hath he done? And they cryed the more feruently, Crucifie him.
15 Pilato adunque, volendo soddisfare alla moltitudine, liberò loro Barabba. E dopo aver flagellato Gesù, lo diede [loro] in mano, per esser crocifisso.
So Pilate willing to content the people, loosed them Barabbas, and deliuered Iesus, when he had scourged him, that he might be crucified.
16 Allora i soldati lo menarono dentro alla corte, che è il Pretorio, e raunarono tutta la schiera.
Then the souldiers led him away into the hall, which is the common hall, and called together the whole band,
17 E lo vestirono di porpora; e contesta una corona di spine, gliela misero intorno [al capo].
And clad him with purple, and platted a crowne of thornes, and put it about his head,
18 Poi presero a salutarlo, e a dire: Ben ti sia, Re de' Giudei.
And began to salute him, saying, Haile, King of the Iewes.
19 E gli percotevano il capo con una canna, e gli sputavano addosso; e postisi inginocchioni, l'adoravano.
And they smote him on the head with a reede, and spat vpon him, and bowed the knees, and did him reuerence.
20 E dopo che l'ebbero schernito, lo spogliarono della porpora, e lo rivestirono de' suoi propri vestimenti, e lo menarono fuori, per crocifiggerlo.
And whe they had mocked him, they tooke the purple off him, and put his owne clothes on him, and led him out to crucifie him.
21 ED angariarono a portar la croce di esso, un certo passante, [detto] Simon Cireneo, padre di Alessandro e di Rufo, il qual tornava da' campi.
And they compelled one that passed by, called Simon of Cyrene (which came out of the countrey, and was father of Alexander and Rufus) to beare his crosse.
22 E menarono Gesù al luogo [detto] Golgota; il che, interpretato, vuol dire: Il luogo del teschio.
And they brought him to a place named Golgotha, which is by interpretation, the place of dead mens skulles.
23 E gli dieder da bere del vino condito con mirra; ma egli non [lo] prese.
And they gaue him to drinke wine mingled with myrrhe: but he receiued it not.
24 E dopo averlo crocifisso, spartirono i suoi vestimenti, tirando la sorte sopra essi, [per saper] ciò che ne torrebbe ciascuno.
And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots for them, what euery man should haue.
25 Or era l'ora di terza, quando lo crocifissero.
And it was the third houre, when they crucified him.
26 E la soprascritta del maleficio che gli era apposto era scritta di sopra [a lui, in questa maniera: ] IL RE DE' GIUDEI.
And ye title of his cause was written aboue, THAT KING OF THE JEWES.
27 Crocifissero ancora con lui due ladroni, l'un dalla sua destra, e l'altro dalla sinistra.
They crucified also with him two theeues, the one on ye right hand, and the other on his left.
28 E si adempiè la scrittura che dice: Ed egli è stato annoverato fra i malfattori.
Thus the Scripture was fulfilled, which sayth, And he was counted among the wicked.
29 E coloro che passavano ivi presso l'ingiuriavano, scotendo il capo, e dicendo: Eia! tu che disfai il tempio, ed in tre giorni lo riedifichi,
And they that went by, railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Hey, thou that destroyest the Temple, and buildest it in three dayes,
30 salva te stesso, e scendi giù di croce.
Saue thy selfe, and come downe from the crosse.
31 Simigliantemente ancora i principali sacerdoti, con gli Scribi, beffandosi, dicevano l'uno all'altro: Egli ha salvati gli altri, e non può salvar sè stesso.
Likewise also euen the hie Priests mocking, said among themselues with the Scribes, He saued other men, himselfe he cannot saue.
32 Scenda ora giù di croce il Cristo, il Re d'Israele; acciocchè noi [lo] vediamo, e crediamo. Coloro ancora ch'erano stati crocifissi con lui l'ingiuriavano.
Let Christ the King of Israel nowe come downe from the crosse, that we may see, and beleeue. They also that were crucified with him, reuiled him.
33 Poi, venuta l'ora sesta, si fecero tenebre per tutta la terra, infino all'ora di nona.
Nowe when the sixt houre was come, darkenesse arose ouer all the land vntill the ninth houre.
34 Ed all'ora di nona, Gesù gridò con gran voce, dicendo: Eloi, Eloi, lamma sabactani? il che, interpretato, vuol dire: Dio mio, Dio mio, perchè mi hai abbandonato?
And at the ninth houre Iesus cryed with a loude voyce, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lamma-sabachthani? which is by interpretation, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
35 Ed alcuni di coloro ch'eran quivi presenti, udito [ciò], dicevano: Ecco, egli chiama Elia.
And some of them that stoode by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.
36 E un di loro corse; ed empiuta una spugna d'aceto, e postala intorno ad una canna, gli diè da bere, dicendo: Lasciate; vediamo se Elia verrà, per trarlo giù.
And one ranne, and filled a spondge full of vineger, and put it on a reede, and gaue him to drinke, saying, Let him alone: let vs see if Elias will come, and take him downe.
37 E Gesù, gettato un gran grido, rendè lo spirito.
And Iesus cryed with a loude voyce, and gaue vp the ghost.
38 E la cortina del tempio si fendè in due, da cima a fondo.
And the vaile of the Temple was rent in twaine, from the toppe to the bottome.
39 E il centurione, ch'era quivi presente di rincontro a Gesù, veduto che dopo aver così gridato, egli avea reso lo spirito, disse: Veramente quest'uomo era Figliuol di Dio.
Nowe when the Centurion, which stoode ouer against him, sawe that he thus crying gaue vp the ghost, he saide, Truely this man was the Sonne of God.
40 Or [quivi] erano ancora delle donne, riguardando da lontano; fra le quali era Maria Maddalena, e Maria [madre] di Giacomo il piccolo, e di Iose, e Salome;
There were also women, which beheld afarre off, among whom was Marie Magdalene, and Marie (the mother of Iames the lesse, and of Ioses) and Salome,
41 le quali, eziandio mentre egli era nella Galilea, l'aveano seguitato, e gli aveano ministrato; e molte altre, le quali erano salite con lui in Gerusalemme.
Which also when he was in Galile, folowed him, and ministred vnto him, and many other women which came vp with him vnto Hierusalem.
42 POI, essendo già sera (perciocchè era la preparazione, cioè l'antisabato),
And nowe when the night was come (because it was the day of the preparation that is before the Sabbath)
43 Giuseppe, da Arimatea, consigliere onorato, il quale eziandio aspettava il regno di Dio, venne, e, preso ardire, entrò da Pilato, e domandò il corpo di Gesù.
Ioseph of Arimathea, an honorable counsellour, which also looked for the kingdome of God, came, and went in boldly vnto Pilate, and asked the body of Iesus.
44 E Pilato si maravigliò ch'egli fosse già morto. E chiamato a sè il centurione, gli domandò se era gran tempo ch'egli era morto;
And Pilate marueiled, if he were already dead, and called vnto him the Centurion, and asked of him whether he had bene any while dead.
45 e, saputo [il fatto] dal centurione, donò il corpo a Giuseppe.
And when he knewe the trueth of the Centurion, he gaue the body to Ioseph:
46 Ed egli, comperato un panno lino, e tratto Gesù giù di croce, l'involse nel panno, e lo pose in un monumento, che era tagliato dentro una roccia; e rotolò una pietra all'apertura del monumento.
Who bought a linnen cloth, and tooke him downe, and wrapped him in the linnen cloth, and laide him in a tombe that was hewen out of a rocke, and rolled a stone vnto the doore of the sepulchre:
47 E Maria Maddalena, e Maria [madre] di Iose, riguardavano ove egli sarebbe posto.
And Marie Magdalene, and Marie Ioses mother, behelde where he should be layed.
