Luca 10
1 ORA, dopo queste cose, il Signore ne ordinò ancora altri settanta, e li mandò a due a due dinanzi a sè, in ogni città, e luogo, ove egli avea da venire.
And aftir these thingis the Lord Jhesu ordeynede also othir seuenti and tweyn, and sente hem bi tweyn and tweyn bifor his face in to euery citee and place, whidir he was to come.
2 Diceva loro adunque: Bene è la ricolta grande, ma gli operai [son] pochi; pregate adunque il Signor della ricolta che spinga degli operai nella sua ricolta.
And he seide to hem, There is myche ripe corn, and fewe werke men; therfor preie ye the lord of the ripe corn, that he sende werke men in to his ripe corn.
3 Andate; ecco, io vi mando come agnelli in mezzo de' lupi.
Go ye, lo! Y sende you as lambren among wolues.
4 Non portate borsa, nè tasca, nè scarpe; e non salutate alcuno per lo cammino.
Therfor nyle ye bere a sachel, nethir scrippe, nethir schoon, and greete ye no man bi the weie.
5 Ed in qualunque casa sarete entrati, dite imprima: Pace [sia] a questa casa.
In to what hous that ye entren, first seie ye, Pees to this hous.
6 E se quivi è alcun figliuolo di pace, la vostra pace si poserà sopra esso; se no, ella ritornerà a voi.
And if a sone of pees be there, youre pees schal reste on hym; but if noon, it schal turne ayen to you.
7 Ora, dimorate in quella stessa casa, mangiando, e bevendo di quello che vi sarà; perciocchè l'operaio è degno del suo premio; non passate di casa in casa.
And dwelle ye in the same hous, etynge and drynkynge tho thingis that ben at hem; for a werk man is worthi his hire. Nyle ye passe from hous in to hous.
8 E in qualunque città sarete entrati, se vi ricevono, mangiate di ciò che vi sarà messo davanti.
And in to what euer citee ye entren, and thei resseyuen you, ete ye tho thingis that ben set to you;
9 E guarite gl'infermi, che [saranno] in essa, e dite loro: Il regno di Dio si è avvicinato a voi.
and heele ye the sijke men that ben in that citee. And seie ye to hem, The kyngdom of God schal neiye in to you.
10 Ma in qualunque città sarete entrati, se non vi ricevono, uscite nelle piazze di quella, e dite:
In to what citee ye entren, and thei resseyuen you not, go ye out in to the streetis of it,
11 Noi vi spazziamo eziandio la polvere che si è attaccata a noi dalla vostra città; ma pure sappiate questo, che il regno di Dio si è avvicinato a voi.
and seie ye, We wipen of ayens you the poudir that cleued to vs of youre citee; netheles wite ye this thing, that the rewme of God schal come nyy.
12 Or io vi dico, che in quel giorno Sodoma sarà più tollerabilmente trattata che quella città.
Y seie to you, that to Sodom it schal be esiere than to that citee in that dai.
13 Guai a te, Chorazin! guai a te, Betsaida! perciocchè, se in Tiro, ed in Sidon, fossero state fatte le potenti operazioni che sono state fatte in voi, già anticamente, giacendo in sacco, e cenere, si sarebbero pentite.
Wo to thee, Corosayn; wo to thee, Bethsaida; for if in Tyre and Sidon the vertues hadden be don, whiche han be don in you, sum tyme thei wolden haue sete in heyre and asches, and haue don penaunce.
14 Ma pure Tiro e Sidon, saranno più tollerabilmente trattate nel giudicio, che voi.
Netheles to Tire and Sidon it schal be esiere in the doom than to you.
15 E tu, Capernaum, che sei stata innalzata infino al cielo, sarai abbassata fin nell'inferno. (Hadēs g86)
And thou, Cafarnaum, art enhaunsid `til to heuene; thou schalt be drenchid `til in to helle. (Hadēs g86)
16 Chi ascolta voi ascolta me, chi sprezza voi sprezza me, e chi sprezza me sprezza colui che mi ha mandato.
He that herith you, herith me; and he that dispisith you, dispisith me; and he that dispisith me, dispisith hym that sente me.
17 Or que' settanta tornarono con allegrezza, dicendo: Signore, anche i demoni ci son sottoposti nel nome tuo.
And the two and seuenti disciplis turneden ayen with ioye, and seiden, Lord, also deuelis ben suget to vs in thi name.
18 Ed egli disse loro: Io riguardava Satana cader del cielo, a guisa di folgore.
And he seide to hem, Y saiy Sathnas fallynge doun fro heuene, as leit.
19 Ecco, io vi do la podestà di calcar serpenti, e scorpioni; [vi do] eziandio [potere] sopra ogni potenza del nemico; e nulla vi offenderà.
And lo! Y haue youun to you power to trede on serpentis, and on scorpyouns, and on al the vertu of the enemy, and nothing schal anoye you.
20 Ma pure non vi rallegrate di ciò che gli spiriti vi son sottoposti; anzi rallegratevi che i vostri nomi sono scritti ne' cieli.
Netheles nyle ye ioye on this thing, that spiritis ben suget to you; but ioye ye, that youre names ben writun in heuenes.
21 In quella stessa ora, Gesù giubilò in ispirito, e disse: Io ti rendo onore, e lode, o Padre, Signor del cielo e della terra, che tu hai nascoste queste cose ai savi, ed intendenti, e le hai rivelate ai piccoli fanciulli; sì certo, o Padre, perciocchè così ti è piaciuto.
In thilk our he gladide in the Hooli Goost, and seide, Y knouleche to thee, fadir, Lord of heuene and of erthe, for thou hast hid these thingis fro wise men and prudent, and hast schewid hem to smale children. Yhe, fadir, for so it pleside bifor thee.
22 Ogni cosa mi è stata data in mano dal Padre mio; e niuno conosce chi è il Figliuolo, se non il Padre; nè chi è il Padre, se non il Figliuolo; e colui a cui il Figliuolo avrà voluto rivelar[lo].
Alle thingis ben youun to me of my fadir, and no man woot, who is the sone, but the fadir; and who is the fadir, but the sone, and to whom the sone wole schewe.
23 E rivoltosi a' discepoli, disse [loro] in disparte: Beati gli occhi che veggono le cose che voi vedete;
And he turnede to hise disciplis, and seide, Blessid ben the iyen, that seen tho thingis that ye seen.
24 perciocchè io vi dico, che molti profeti, e re, hanno desiderato di veder le cose che voi vedete, e non le hanno vedute, e di udir le cose che voi udite, e non le hanno udite.
For Y seie to you, that many prophetis and kyngis wolden haue seie tho thingis, that ye seen, and thei sayn not; and here tho thingis, that ye heren, and thei herden not.
25 ALLORA ecco, un certo dottor della legge si levò, tentandolo, e dicendo: Maestro, facendo che, erediterò la vita eterna? (aiōnios g166)
And lo! a wise man of the lawe ros vp, temptynge hym, and seiynge, Maister, what thing schal Y do to haue euerlastynge lijf? (aiōnios g166)
26 Ed egli gli disse: Nella legge che è egli scritto? come leggi?
And he seide to hym, What is writun in the lawe? hou redist thou?
27 E colui, rispondendo, disse: Ama il Signore Iddio tuo con tutto il tuo cuore, e con tutta l'anima tua, e con tutta la forza tua, e con tutta la mente tua; e il tuo prossimo come te stesso.
He answeride, and seide, Thou schalt loue thi Lord God of al thin herte, and of al thi soule, and of alle thi strengthis, and of al thi mynde; and thi neiybore as thi silf.
28 Ed egli gli disse: Tu hai dirittamente risposto; fa' ciò, e viverai.
And Jhesus seide to hym, Thou hast answerid riytli; do this thing, and thou schalt lyue.
29 Ed egli, volendo giustificarsi, disse a Gesù: E chi è mio prossimo?
But he willynge to iustifie hym silf, seide to Jhesu, And who is my neiybore?
30 E Gesù, replicando, disse: Un uomo scendeva di Gerusalemme in Gerico, e si abbattè in ladroni; i quali, spogliatolo, ed anche dategli di molte ferite, se ne andarono, lasciandolo mezzo morto.
And Jhesu biheld, and seide, A man cam doun fro Jerusalem in to Jerico, and fel among theues, and thei robbiden hym, and woundiden hym, and wente awei, and leften the man half alyue.
31 Or a caso un sacerdote scendeva per quella stessa via; e, veduto colui, passò oltre di rincontro.
And it bifel, that a prest cam doun the same weie, and passide forth, whanne he hadde seyn hym.
32 Simigliantemente ancora, un Levita, essendo venuto presso di quel luogo, e, veduto[lo], passò oltre di rincontro.
Also a dekene, whanne he was bisidis the place, and saiy him, passide forth.
33 Ma un Samaritano, facendo viaggio, venne presso di lui; e, vedutolo, n'ebbe pietà.
But a Samaritan, goynge the weie, cam bisidis hym; and he siy hym, and hadde reuthe on hym;
34 Ed accostatosi, fasciò le sue piaghe, versandovi sopra dell'olio, e del vino; poi lo mise sopra la sua propria cavalcatura, e lo menò nell'albergo, e si prese cura di lui.
and cam to hym, and boond togidir hise woundis, and helde in oyle and wynne; and leide hym on his beest, and ledde in to an ostrie, and dide the cure of hym.
35 E il giorno appresso, partendo, trasse fuori due denari, e li diede all'oste, e gli disse: Prenditi cura di costui; e tutto ciò che spenderai di più, io tel renderò quando io ritornerò.
And another dai he brouyte forth twey pans, and yaf to the ostiler, and seide, Haue the cure of hym; and what euer thou schalt yyue ouer, Y schal yelde to thee, whanne Y come ayen.
36 Quale adunque di questi tre ti pare essere stato il prossimo di colui che si abbattè ne' ladroni?
Who of these thre, semeth to thee, was neiybore to hym, that fel among theues?
37 Ed egli disse: Colui che usò misericordia inverso lui. Gesù adunque gli disse: Va', e fa' tu il simigliante.
And he seide, He that dide merci in to hym. And Jhesus seide to hym, Go thou, and do thou on lijk maner.
38 ORA, mentre essi erano in cammino, avvenne ch'egli entrò in un castello; ed una certa donna, [chiamata] per nome Marta, lo ricevette in casa sua.
And it was don, while thei wenten, he entride in to a castel; and a womman, Martha bi name, resseyuede hym in to hir hous.
39 Or ella avea una sorella, chiamata Maria, la quale ancora, postasi a sedere a' piedi di Gesù, ascoltava la sua parola.
And to this was a sistir, Marie bi name, which also sat bisidis the feet of the Lord, and herde his word.
40 Ma Marta era occupata intorno a molti servigi. Ed ella venne, e disse: Signore, non ti cale egli che la mia sorella mi ha lasciata sola a servire? dille adunque che mi aiuti.
But Martha bisiede aboute the ofte seruyce. And sche stood, and seide, Lord, takist thou no kepe, that my sistir hath left me aloone to serue? therfor seie thou to hir, that sche helpe me.
41 Ma Gesù, rispondendo, le disse: Marta, Marta, tu sei sollecita, e ti travagli intorno a molte cose.
And the Lord answerde, and seide to hir, Martha, Martha, thou art bysi, and art troublid aboute ful many thingis;
42 Or d'una sola cosa fa bisogno. Ma Maria ha scelta la buona parte, la qual non le sarà tolta.
but o thing is necessarie. Marie hath chosun the best part, which schal not be takun awei fro hir.
