Levitico 3
1 E SE l'offerta di alcuno [è] sacrificio da render grazie, s'egli l'offerisce del grosso bestiame, maschio o femmina [che quella bestia sia], offeriscala senza difetto, nel cospetto del Signore.
[“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.
2 E posi la mano in sul capo della sua offerta; e scannisi quella all'entrata del Tabernacolo della convenenza; e spandanne i figliuoli di Aaronne, sacerdoti, il sangue in su l'Altare, attorno attorno.
You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
3 Poi offerisca [il sacerdote], del sacrificio da render grazie, ciò che si ha da ardere al Signore, [cioè: ] il grasso che copre l'interiora, e tutto il grasso che [è] sopra l'interiora;
From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—
4 e i due arnioni, e il grasso che [è] sopra essi, e quello che [è] sopra i fianchi; e levi la rete che [è] sopra il fegato, insieme con gli arnioni.
the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
5 E i figliuoli di Aaronne faccianla bruciare in su l'Altare, sopra l'olocausto che [sarà] sopra le legne, le quali [saranno] in sul fuoco; in offerta fatta per fuoco, di soave odore al Signore.
Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.
6 E se l'offerta di alcuno, per sacrificio da render grazie al Signore, è del minuto bestiame, maschio o femmina, offeriscala senza difetto.
If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.
7 S'egli offerisce per sua offerta una pecora, offeriscala nel cospetto del Signore.
If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].
8 E posi la mano in sul capo della sua offerta; e scannisi quella all'entrata del Tabernacolo della convenenza; e spandanne i figliuoli di Aaronne il sangue in su l'Altare, attorno attorno.
Then one of the priests will sprinkle that blood against all sides of the altar.
9 E offerisca [il sacerdote] di quel sacrificio da render grazie, ciò che si ha da ardere al Signore, [cioè: ] il grasso, e la coda intiera, la quale spicchisi appresso della schiena; e il grasso che copre l'interiora, e tutto il grasso che [è] sopra l'interiora;
You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—
10 e i due arnioni, e il grasso che [è] sopra essi, che [è] sopra i fianchi; e levi la rete che [è] sopra il fegato, insieme con gli arnioni.
the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
11 E faccia il sacerdote bruciar quel grasso in su l'Altare, in cibo di offerta fatta per fuoco al Signore.
One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].
12 E se l'offerta di alcuno è capra, offeriscala nel cospetto del Signore.
‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.
13 E posi la mano sopra il capo di essa, e scannisi davanti al Tabernacolo della convenenza; e spandanne i figliuoli di Aaronne il sangue in su l'Altare, attorno attorno.
You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
14 Poi offeriscane [il sacerdote] l'offerta che deve esser fatta per fuoco al Signore, [cioè: ] il grasso che copre l'interiora, e tutto il grasso che [è] sopra l'interiora;
From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,
15 e i due arnioni, insieme col grasso che [è] sopra essi, che è sopra i fianchi; e levi la rete che è sopra il fegato, insieme con gli arnioni.
the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
16 E faccia il sacerdote bruciar queste cose in su l'Altare, in cibo di offerta fatta per fuoco, di soave odore. Ogni grasso [appartiene] al Signore.
The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.
17 Questo [sia] uno statuto perpetuo, per le vostre generazioni, in tutte le vostre abitazioni. Non mangiate alcun sangue, nè alcun grasso.
‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”
