Levitico 11
1 POI il Signore parlò a Mosè e ad Aaronne, dicendo loro:
After, the Lord spake vnto Moses and to Aaron, saying vnto them,
2 Parlate a' figliuoli d'Israele, dicendo: Questi [son] gli animali, de' quali voi potrete mangiare, d'infra tutte le bestie che [son] sopra la terra.
Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say, These are the beastes which yee shall eate, among all the beasts that are on the earth.
3 D'infra le bestie [a quattro piedi], voi potrete mangiar di tutte quelle bestie che hanno il piè forcuto, e l'unghia spartita in due, [e] che ruminano.
Whatsoeuer parteth the hoofe, and is clouen footed, and cheweth the cudde, among the beastes, that shall ye eate.
4 Ma, fra quelle che hanno il piè forcuto, o che ruminano, non mangiate di queste: del cammello; conciossiachè egli rumini, ma non abbia il piè forcuto; siavi immondo;
But of them that chewe the cud, or deuide the hoofe onely, of them yee shall not eate: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, and deuideth not ye hoofe, he shall be vncleane vnto you.
5 nè del coniglio; conciossiachè egli rumini, ma non abbia il piè forcuto; siavi immondo;
Likewise the conie, because he cheweth the cud and deuideth not the hoofe, he shall bee vncleane to you.
6 nè della lepre; conciossiachè ella rumini, ma non abbia il piè forcuto; siavi immonda;
Also the hare, because he cheweth the cud, and deuideth not the hoofe, he shalbe vncleane to you.
7 nè del porco; conciossiachè egli abbia il piè forcuto, e spartito in due, ma non rumini; siavi immondo.
And the swine, because he parteth ye hoofe and is clouen footed, but cheweth not the cud, he shalbe vncleane to you.
8 Non mangiate della carne loro, e non toccate le lor carogne; sienvi immonde.
Of their flesh shall yee not eate, and their carkeise shall yee not touch: for they shall bee vncleane to you.
9 Voi potrete mangiar di queste specie d'infra tutti gli animali acquatici, [cioè: ] di tutti quelli che hanno pennette, e scaglie, nell'acque, così ne' mari, come nei fiumi.
These shall ye eate, of all that are in the waters: whatsoeuer hath finnes and skales in ye waters, in the seas, or in the riuers, them shall ye eate.
10 Ma siavi in abbominazione tutto ciò che non ha pennette, nè scaglie, così ne' mari, come ne' fiumi, fra tutti i rettili acquatici, e fra tutti gli animali che [vivono] nelle acque.
But all that haue not finnes nor skales in the seas, or in the riuers, of all that moueth in the waters, and of al liuing things that are in the waters, they shalbe an abomination vnto you.
11 Sienvi adunque in abbominazione; non mangiate della carne loro, e abbiate in abbominio le lor carogne.
They, I say, shalbe an abomination to you: ye shall not eate of their flesh, but shall abhorre their carkeis.
12 In somma, siavi cosa abbominevole ogni [animale] che nell'acque non ha pennette, nè scaglie.
Whatsoeuer hath not fins nor skales in the waters, that shalbe abomination vnto you.
13 E fra gli uccelli abbiate questi in abbominio; non manginsi; son cosa abbominevole: l'aquila, il girifalco, l'aquila marina;
These shall ye haue also in abomination among the foules, they shall not be eaten: for they are an abomination, the eagle, and the goshauke, and the osprey:
14 ogni specie di nibbio e di avvoltoio;
Also the vultur, and the kite after his kinde,
15 ogni specie di corvo;
And all rauens after their kinde:
16 l'ulula, la civetta, la folica, e ogni specie di sparviere;
The ostrich also, and the night crowe, and the seameaw, and the hauke after his kinde:
17 il gufo, lo smergo, e l'alocco; il cigno, il pellicano, la pica;
The litle owle also, and the connorant, and the great owle.
18 la cicogna, e ogni specie di aghirone;
Also the redshanke and the pelicane, and the swanne:
19 l'upupa, e il vipistrello.
The storke also, the heron after his kinde, and the lapwing, and the backe:
20 Siavi [parimente] in abbominio ogni rettile che vola, e cammina a quattro [piedi].
Also euery foule that creepeth and goeth vpon all foure, such shalbe an abomination vnto you.
21 Ma pur d'infra tutti i rettili che volano, e camminano a quattro [piedi], voi potrete mangiar di quelli che hanno garetti disopra a' piedi, per saltar con essi in su la terra.
Yet these shall ye eate: of euery foule that creepeth, and goeth vpon all foure which haue their feete and legs all of one to leape withal vpon the earth,
22 Di tali potrete mangiar di questi; d'ogni specie di arbe, di ogni specie di soleam, d'ogni specie di argol, e d'ogni specie di agab.
Of them ye shall eate these, the grashopper after his kinde, and the solean after his kinde, the hargol after his kinde, and the hagab after his kind.
23 Ma siavi in abbominio ogni [altro] rettile che vola, ed ha quattro piedi.
But al other foules that creepe and haue foure feete, they shalbe abomination vnto you.
24 E per queste [bestie] voi vi renderete immondi; chiunque toccherà il corpo morto loro, sarà immondo infino alla sera.
For by such ye shalbe polluted: whosoeuer toucheth their carkeis, shalbe vncleane vnto the euening.
25 E chiunque avrà portato del lor corpo morto lavi i suoi vestimenti, e sia immondo infino alla sera.
Whosoeuer also beareth of their carkeis, shall wash his clothes, and be vncleane vntil euen.
26 Di tutte le bestie domestiche sienvi immonde tutte quelle che hanno l'unghia fessa, ma non spartita in due, e che non ruminano; chiunque avrà toccati tali [animali], sia immondo.
Euery beast that hath clawes deuided, and is not clouen footed, nor cheweth the cud, such shalbe vncleane vnto you: euery one that toucheth them, shalbe vncleane.
27 E di tutte le bestie che camminano a quattro [piedi] sienvi immonde tutte quelle che camminano sopra le lor branche; chiunque avrà toccato il corpo morto di tali [bestie], sia immondo infino alla sera.
And whatsoeuer goeth vpon his pawes among all maner beastes that goeth on all foure, such shalbe vncleane vnto you: who so doth touch their carkeis shalbe vncleane vntil the euen.
28 E chi avrà portato il lor corpo morto lavi i suoi vestimenti, e sia immondo infino alla sera; quelle [bestie] vi [sono] immonde.
And he that beareth their carkeis, shall wash his clothes, and be vncleane vntill the euen: for such shalbe vncleane vnto you.
29 E de' rettili che van serpendo sopra la terra, sienvi immondi questi, [cioè: ] ogni specie di donnola, e di topo, e di testuggine;
Also these shalbe vncleane to you amog the things that creepe and moue vpon the earth, the weasell, and the mouse, and the frog, after his kinde:
30 e il toporagno, e il cameleone, e la lucertola, e la tarantola, e la talpa.
Also the rat, and the lizard, and the chameleon, and the stellio, and the molle.
31 Fra tutti i rettili, sienvi questi immondi; chiunque li avrà toccati, essendo morti, sia immondo infino alla sera.
These shall be vncleane to you among all that creepe: whosoeuer doeth touch them when they be dead, shalbe vncleane vntil the euen.
32 E qualunque cosa, sopra la quale sarà caduto alcuno di que' [rettili], essendo morto, sia immonda; qualunque vasello di legno, o vestimento, o pelle, o sacco, o qualunque [altro] strumento, col quale si fa alcun servigio; e però sia posto nell'acqua, e sia immondo infino alla sera; poi sia mondo.
Also whatsoeuer any of the dead carkeises of them doth fall vpon, shalbe vncleane, whether it be vessel of wood, or rayment, or skinne, or sacke: whatsoeuer vessel it be that is occupied, it shalbe put in the water as vncleane vntil the euen, and so be purified.
33 E se [alcun] di quei [rettili] sarà caduto dentro alcun testo, tutto quello che vi [sarà] dentro sia immondo, e spezzate il testo.
But euery earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoeuer is within it shalbe vncleane, and ye shall breake it.
34 Qualunque vivanda si mangia, sopra la quale si mette dell'acqua, sia immonda; e qualunque bevanda si beve, in qualche vaso [ella si sia], sia immonda.
Al meate also that shalbe eaten, if any such water come vpon it, shalbe vncleane: and all drinke that shalbe drunke in al such vessels shalbe vncleane.
35 E ogni cosa, sopra la quale caderà del corpo morto loro, sia immonda; il forno, o il testo da cuocere, sia disfatto; essi [sono] immondi; [però] teneteli per immondi.
And euery thing that their carkeis fall vpon, shalbe vncleane: the fornais or the pot shalbe broken: for they are vncleane, and shalbe vncleane vnto you.
36 Ma pur la fonte, o il pozzo d'acqua raccolta, sia monda; ma chi avrà tocco il corpo morto loro, sia immondo.
Yet the fountaines and welles where there is plentie of water shalbe cleane: but that which toucheth their carkeises shalbe vncleane.
37 Ma, se cade del corpo morto loro sopra qualunque semenza che si semina, [sia] quella [semenza] monda.
And if there fal of their dead carkeis vpon any seede, which vseth to be sowe, it shalbe cleane.
38 Ma, se è stata messa dell'acqua sopra la semenza, e vi cade sopra del corpo morto loro, [sia]vi quella [semenza] immonda.
But if any water be powred vpon ye seede, and there fal of their dead carkeis thereon, it shall be vncleane vnto you.
39 E, quando alcuna di quelle bestie che vi son per cibo sarà morta [da sè], chi avrà tocco il corpo morto di essa, sia immondo infino alla sera.
If also any beast, whereof ye may eate, die, he that toucheth the carkeis thereof shall be vncleane vntil the euen.
40 E chi avrà mangiata della carne morta di essa lavi i suoi vestimenti, e sia immondo infino alla sera; parimente, chi avrà portato il corpo morto di essa lavi i suoi vestimenti, e sia immondo infino alla sera.
And he that eateth of the carkeis of it, shall wash his clothes and be vncleane vntil the euen: he also that beareth the carkeis of it, shall wash his clothes, and be vncleane vntil the euen.
41 Ogni rettile che serpe sopra la terra sia immondo; non mangisi.
Euery creeping thing therefore that creepeth vpon the earth shalbe an abomination, and not be eaten.
42 D'infra tutti i rettili che serpono sopra la terra non mangiate niuno di quelli che camminano in sul petto, o sia che camminino a quattro [piedi], o che abbiano più piedi; perciocchè son cosa abbominevole.
Whatsoeuer goeth vpon the breast, and whatsoeuer goeth vpon al foure, or that hath many feete among all creeping thinges that creepe vpon the earth, ye shall not eate of them, for they shalbe abomination.
43 Non rendete abbominevoli le vostre persone per niun rettile che serpe; e non vi contaminate con essi, onde siate immondi per essi.
Ye shall not pollute your selues with any thing that creepeth, neither make your selues vncleane with them, neither defile your selues thereby: ye shall not, I say, be defiled by them,
44 Perciocchè io [sono] il Signore Iddio vostro; santificatevi adunque, e siate santi; conciossiachè io [sia] santo; e non contaminate le vostre persone con alcun rettile che serpe sopra la terra.
For I am the Lord your God: be sanctified therefore, and be holy, for I am holy, and defile not your selues with any creeping thing, that creepeth vpon the earth.
45 Perciocchè io [sono] il Signore, che vi ho tratti fuor del paese di Egitto, acciocchè io vi sia Dio; siate adunque santi; imperocchè io [son] santo.
For I am the Lord that brought you out of the lande of Egypt, to be your God, and that you should be holy, for I am holy.
46 Quest'[è] la legge intorno alle bestie, e agli uccelli, e ad ogni animal vivente che guizza nelle acque, e ad ogni animale che serpe sopra la terra;
This is the law of beasts, and of foules, and of euery liuing thing that moueth in the waters, and of euery thing that creepeth vpon the earth:
47 per discernere fra l'immondo e il mondo; e fra gli animali che si posson mangiare, e quelli che non si devono mangiare.
That there may be a difference betweene the vncleane and cleane, and betweene the beast that may be eaten, and the beast that ought not to be eaten.
