Geremia 27

1 NEL principio del regno di Gioiachim, figliuolo di Giosia, re di Giuda, questa parola fu dal Signore [indirizzata] a Geremia, dicendo:

In the bigynnyng of the rewme of Joachym, the sone of Josie, kyng of Juda, this word was maad of the Lord to Jeremye, and seide,

2 Così mi ha detto il Signore: Fatti dei legami, e de' gioghi; e mettiti gli [uni] in sul collo.

The Lord seith these thingis to me, Make thou to thee boondis and chaynes, and thou schalt putte tho in thi necke;

3 E manda gli [altri] al re di Edom, ed al re di Moab, ed al re de' figliuoli di Ammon, ed al re di Tiro, ed al re di Sidon, per gli ambasciatori che verranno in Gerusalemme, a Sedechia, re di Giuda.

and thou schalt sende tho to the kyng of Edom, and to the kyng of Moab, and to the kyng of the sones of Amon, and to the kyng of Tyre, and to the kyng of Sidon, bi the hond of messangeris that camen to Jerusalem, and to Sedechie, kyng of Juda.

4 E ingiungi loro che dicano a' lor signori: Così ha detto il Signor degli eserciti, l'Iddio d'Israele: Dite così a' vostri signori:

And thou schalt comaunde to hem, that thei speke to her lordis, The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Ye schulen seie these thingis to youre lordis,

5 Io ho fatta la terra, gli uomini, e le bestie che [sono] sopra la faccia della terra, con la mia gran potenza, e col mio braccio disteso; e do quella a cui mi piace.

Y made erthe, and man, and beestis that ben on the face of al erthe, in my greet strengthe, and in myn arm holdun forth; and Y yaf it to hym that plesyde bifore myn iyen.

6 Ed ora io ho dati tutti questi paesi in man di Nebucadnesar, re di Babilonia, mio servitore; e gli ho dato eziandio fino alle bestie delle campagna, acciocchè gli servano.

And now therfor Y yaf alle these londis in the hond of Nabugodonosor, my seruaunt, the kyng of Babiloyne; ferthermore and Y yaf to hym the beestis of the feeld, that thei serue hym.

7 E tutte le nazioni serviranno a lui, ed al suo figliuolo, ed al figliuolo del suo figliuolo, finchè venga ancora il tempo del suo paese; ed [allora] nazioni possenti, e re grandi, ridurranno ancora lui in servitù.

And alle folkis schulen serue hym, and his sone, and the sone of his sone, til the tyme of his lond and of hym come; and many folkis and grete kyngis schulen serue hym.

8 E se alcuna gente, o regno, non vuol servirgli, [cioè], a Nebucadnesar, re di Babilonia, e non vuol sottoporre il collo al giogo del re di Babilonia; io farò punizione di quella gente, dice il Signore, con la spada, e con la fame, e con la pestilenza, finchè io li abbia consumati per mano di esso.

Forsothe the folk and rewme that serueth not Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, and whoeuer bowith not his necke vndur the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne, Y schal visite on that folk in swerd, and hungur, and pestilence, seith the Lord, til Y waaste hem in his hond.

9 Voi adunque non ascoltate i vostri profeti, nè i vostri indovini, nè i vostri sognatori, nè i vostri pronosticatori, nè i vostri incantatori, che vi dicono: Voi non servirete al re di Babilonia;

Therfor nyle ye here youre profetis, and false dyuynouris, and dremeris, and dyuyneris bi chiteryng and fleyng of briddis, and witchis, that seien to you, Ye schulen not serue the kyng of Babiloyne;

10 perciocchè essi vi profetizzano menzogna, per dilungarvi d'in su la vostra terra; e acciocchè io vi scacci, e periate.

for thei profesien a lessyng to you, that thei make you fer fro youre lond, and caste out you, and ye perische.

11 Ma la gente, che sottoporrà il collo al giogo del re di Babilonia, e gli servirà, io la lascerò sopra la sua terra, dice il Signore; ed ella la lavorerà, ed abiterà in essa.

Certis the folk that makith suget her nol vndur the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne, and serueth hym, Y schal dismytte it in his lond, seith the Lord; and it schal tile that lond, and schal dwelle therynne.

12 Io parlai ancora a Sedechia, re di Giuda, secondo tutte quelle parole, dicendo: Sottoponete il vostro collo al giogo del re di Babilonia, e servite a lui, ed al suo popolo, e voi viverete.

And Y spak bi alle these wordis to Sedechie, kyng of Juda, and Y seide, Make ye suget youre neckis vndur the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne, and serue ye hym, and his puple, and ye schulen lyue.

13 Perchè morreste, tu e il tuo popolo, per la spada, per la fame, e per la pestilenza, come il Signore ha pronunziato contro alla gente che non servirà al re di Babilonia?

Whi schulen ye die, thou and thi puple, bi swerd, and hungur, and pestilence, as the Lord spak to the folk, that nolde serue to the kyng of Babiloyne?

14 E non ascoltate le parole de' profeti che vi dicono: Voi non servirete al re di Babilonia; perciocchè essi vi profetizzano menzogna.

Nyle ye here the wordis of profetis seiynge to you, Ye schulen not serue the kyng of Babiloyne; for thei speken leesyng to you, for Y sente not hem, seith the Lord;

15 Conciossiachè io non li abbia mandati, dice il Signore; ma profetizzano in Nome mio falsamente; acciocchè io vi scacci, e periate, voi e i profeti che vi profetizzano.

and thei profesien falsly in my name, that thei caste out you, and that ye perische, bothe ye and the profetis that profesien to you.

16 Io parlai eziandio a' sacerdoti, ed a tutto questo popolo, dicendo: Così ha detto il Signore: Non attendete alle parole de' vostri profeti che vi profetizzano, dicendo: Ecco, ora prestamente saranno riportati di Babilonia gli arredi della Casa del Signore; perciocchè essi vi profetizzano menzogna.

And Y spak to the preestis, and to this puple, and Y seide, The Lord God seith these thingis, Nyle ye here the wordis of youre profetis, that profesien to you, and seien, Lo! the vessels of the Lord schulen turne ayen now soone fro Babiloyne; for thei profesien a leesyng to you.

17 Non li ascoltate; servite al re di Babilonia, e voi viverete; perchè sarebbe questa città messa in desolazione?

Therfor nyle ye here hem, but serue ye to the kyng of Babiloyne, that ye lyue; whi is this citee youun in to wildirnesse?

18 Che se pure eglino [son] profeti, e se la parola del Signore è appo loro, intercedano ora appo il Signor degli eserciti, che quegli arredi che son rimasti nella Casa del Signore, e nella casa del re di Giuda, e in Gerusalemme, non vadano in Babilonia.

And if thei ben profetis, and if the word of God is in hem, renne thei to the Lord of oostis, that the vessels whiche weren left in the hous of the Lord, and in the hous of the kyng of Juda, and in Jerusalem, come not in to Babiloyne.

19 Perciocchè il Signor degli eserciti ha detto così delle colonne, del mare, e de' basamenti, e del rimanente degli arredi, che son restati in questa città;

For the Lord of oostis seith these thingis to the pilers, and to the see, that is, a greet waischyng vessel, and to the foundementis, and to the remenauntis of vessels, that weren left in this citee,

20 i quali Nebucadnesar, re di Babilonia, non prese, quando menò in cattività Geconia, figliuolo di Gioiachim, re di Giuda, di Gerusalemme in Babilonia, insieme con tutti i nobili di Giuda, e di Gerusalemme;

whiche Nabugodonosor, king of Babiloyne, took not, whanne he translatide Jeconye, the sone of Joachim, king of Juda, fro Jerusalem in to Babiloyne, and alle the principal men of Juda and of Jerusalem.

21 così, dico, ha detto il Signor degli eserciti, l'Iddio d'Israele, degli arredi, che son rimasti nella Casa del Signore, e nella casa del re di Giuda, ed in Gerusalemme:

For the Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis to the vessels that ben left in the hous of the Lord, and in the hous of the king of Juda, and in Jerusalem, Tho schulen be translatid in to Babiloyne,

22 Saranno portati in Babilonia, e quivi resteranno, infino al giorno che io li visiterò, dice il Signore; poi li trarrò di là, e li farò riportare in questo luogo.

and schulen be there `til to the dai of her visitacioun, seith the Lord; and Y schal make tho to be brouyt, and to be restorid in this place.
