Geremia 16

1 POI la parola del Signore mi fu [indirizzata], dicendo:

And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.

2 Non prenderti moglie, e non aver figliuoli, nè figliuole, in questo luogo.

Not you must take for yourself a wife and not they will belong to you sons and daughters in the place this.

3 Perciocchè, così ha detto il Signore intorno a' figliuoli, ed alle figliuole, che nasceranno in questo luogo, ed alle madri che li avranno partoriti, ed a' padri che li avranno generati in questo paese:

For thus - he says Yahweh on the sons and on the daughters born in the place this and on mothers their who bore them and on fathers their who fathered them in the land this.

4 Morranno di morti dolorose; non se ne farà cordoglio, e non saranno seppelliti; saranno per letame in su la faccia della terra, e saranno consumati per la spada, e per la fame; ed i lor corpi morti saranno per pasto agli uccelli del cielo, ed alle bestie della terra.

Deaths of diseases they will die not they will be mourned and not they will be buried dung on [the] surface of the ground they will become and by the sword and by famine they will come to an end and it will become corpse[s] their food for [the] bird[s] of the heavens and for [the] animal[s] of the earth.

5 Perciocchè, così ha detto il Signore: Non entrare in alcuna casa di convito funerale, e non andar per far cordoglio, e non condolerti con loro; perciocchè io ho ritratta la mia pace da questo popolo, dice il Signore, e la [mia] benignità, e le [mie] compassioni.

For thus - he says Yahweh may not you enter a house of mourning and may not you go to lament and may not you show sympathy to them for I have withdrawn peace my from with the people this [the] utterance of Yahweh the covenant loyalty and compassion.

6 E grandi e piccoli morranno in questo paese, senza esser seppelliti; e non si farà cordoglio per loro, e niuno si farà tagliature addosso, nè si raderà per loro;

And they will die great [people] and insignificant [people] in the land this not they will be buried and not people will mourn for them and not anyone will cut himself and not anyone will make himself bald for them.

7 e non si spartirà loro [pane] per lo duolo, per consolarli del morto; e non si darà loro a bere la coppa delle consolazioni per padre, nè per madre di alcuno.

And not people will break for them on mourning to comfort him on a dead [person] and not people will give to drink them a cup of consolations on father his and on mother his.

8 Parimente non entrare in alcuna casa di convito, per seder con loro, per mangiare e per bere.

And a house of a feast not you must go to sit with them to eat and to drink.

9 Perciocchè, così ha detto il Signor degli eserciti, l'Iddio d'Israele: Ecco, io fo cessare in questo luogo, davanti agli occhi vostri, e a' dì vostri, la voce di gioia, e la voce di allegrezza, la voce dello sposo, e la voce della sposa.

For thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to cause to cease from the place this to eyes your and in days your [the] sound of joy and [the] sound of gladness [the] sound of a bridegroom and [the] sound of a bride.

10 Or avverrà, quando tu avrai annunziate tutte queste parole a questo popolo, ch'essi ti diranno: Perchè ha il Signore pronunziato contro a noi tutto questo gran male? e quale [è] la nostra iniquità, e quale [è] il nostro peccato, che noi abbiamo commesso contro al Signore Iddio nostro?

And it will be that you will tell to the people this all the words these and they will say to you concerning what? has he spoken Yahweh on us all the calamity great this and what? [is] iniquity our and what? [is] sin our which we have sinned to Yahweh God our.

11 E tu dirai loro: Perciocchè i vostri padri mi hanno lasciato, dice il Signore; e sono iti dietro ad altrii dii, e li hanno serviti, ed adorati; ed hanno abbandonato me, e non hanno osservata la mia Legge.

And you will say to them on that they forsook ancestors your me [the] utterance of Yahweh and they walked after gods other and they served them and they bowed down to them and me they forsook and law my not they kept.

12 E voi avete fatto vie peggio che i vostri padri; ed ecco, ciascun di voi va dietro alla durezza del cuor suo malvagio, per non ascoltarmi.

And you you have done evil to act more than ancestors your and here you [are] walking everyone after [the] stubbornness of own heart his wicked to not to listen to me.

13 Perciò, io vi caccerò fuor di questo paese, in un paese che nè voi, nè i vostri padri, non avete conosciuto; e quivi servirete giorno e notte, ad altri dii; perciocchè io non vi farò grazia.

And I will throw out you from on the land this to the land which not you have known you and ancestors your and you will serve there gods other by day and night that not I will give to you favor.

14 [Ma] pure, ecco, i giorni vengono, dice il Signore, che non si dirà più: Il Signor vive, il quale ha tratti i figliuoli d'Israele fuor del paese di Egitto;

Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not it will be said again [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt.

15 ma: Il Signore vive, che ha tratti i figliuoli d'Israele fuor del paese di Settentrione, e di tutti gli [altri] paesi, ne' quali egli li avea scacciati; ed io li ricondurrò alla lor terra, che io diedi a' padri loro.

That except [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up [the] people of Israel from a land of [the] north and from all the lands where he had banished them there towards and I will bring back them to land their which I gave to ancestors their.

16 Ecco, io mando a molti pescatori, che li peschino, dice il Signore; e dopo ciò, a molti cacciatori che li caccino sopra ogni monte, e sopra ogni colle, e nelle buche de' sassi.

Here I [am] about to send (for fishermen *QK) many [the] utterance of Yahweh and they will fish out them and after thus I will send for many hunters and they will hunt them from on every mountain and from on every hill and from [the] clefts of the rocks.

17 Perciocchè gli occhi miei [son] sopra tutte le lor vie; quelle non son nascoste dal mio cospetto, e la loro iniquità non è occulta d'innanzi agli occhi miei.

For eyes my [are] on all ways their not they have been hidden from to before me and not it has been concealed iniquity their from before eyes my.

18 E imprima renderò [loro] al doppio la retribuzione della loro iniquità, e del lor peccato; perciocchè han contaminato il mio paese [ed] hanno empiuta la mia eredità dei carcami delle lor cose esecrabili, e delle loro abbominazioni.

And I will repay first [the] double of iniquity their and sin their because have profaned they land my with [the] corpse[s] of detestable things their and abominations their they have filled inheritance my.

19 O Signore, mia forza, e mia fortezza, e mio rifugio nel giorno della distretta, le genti verranno a te dalle estremità della terra, e diranno: Veramente i padri nostri hanno posseduta falsità, vanità, e [cose] nelle quali non [era] alcun giovamento.

O Yahweh strength my and stronghold my and place of escape my in a day of trouble to you nations they will come from [the] ends of [the] earth so they may say surely falsehood they possessed ancestors our futility and not [there was] in them a [thing that] profits.

20 Farebbesi l'uomo degl'iddii, i quali però non son dii?

¿ Will he make for himself anyone gods and they not [are] God.

21 Per tanto, ecco io farò lor conoscere questa volta, io farò lor conoscere la mia mano, e la mia forza; e sapranno che il mio Nome [è: ] Il Signore.

Therefore here I [am] about to make know them at the time this I will make know them hand my and might my and they will know that name my [is] Yahweh.
