1 IL primo [patto] adunque ebbe anche esso degli ordinamenti del servigio divino, e il santuario terreno.
Then the first Testament had also ordinances of religion, and a worldly Sanctuarie.
2 Perciocchè il primo tabernacolo fu fabbricato, nel quale [era] il candelliere, e la tavola, e la presentazione de' pani; il quale è detto: Il Luogo santo.
For the first Tabernacle was made, wherein was the candlesticke, and the table, and the shewebread, which Tabernacle is called the Holy places.
3 E dopo la seconda cortina, [v'era] il tabernacolo, detto: Il Luogo santissimo;
And after the seconde vaile was the Tabernacle, which is called the Holiest of all,
4 dov'era un turibolo d'oro, e l'arca del patto, coperta d'oro d'ogn'intorno; nel quale [era ancora] il vaso d'oro dove era la manna, e la verga d'Aaronne, ch'era germogliata, e le tavole del patto.
Which had the golden censer, and the Arke of the Testament ouerlayde rounde about with golde, wherein the golden pot, which had Manna, was, and Aarons rod that had budded, and the tables of the Testament.
5 E di sopra ad essa [arca], i cherubini della gloria, che abombravano il propiziatorio; delle quali cose non è da parlare ora a parte a parte.
And ouer the Arke were the glorious Cherubims, shadowing the mercie seat: of which things we will not nowe speake particularly.
6 Or essendo queste cose composte in questa maniera, i sacerdoti entrano bene in ogni tempo nel primo tabernacolo, facendo tutte le parti del servigio divino.
Nowe when these things were thus ordeined, the Priestes went alwayes into the first Tabernacle, and accomplished the seruice.
7 Ma il solo sommo sacerdote [entra] nel secondo una volta l'anno, non senza sangue, il quale egli offerisce per sè stesso, e per gli errori del popolo.
But into the second went the hie Priest alone, once euery yere, not without blood which hee offered for himselfe, and for the ignorances of the people.
8 Lo Spirito Santo dichiarava [con] questo: che la via del santuario non era ancora manifestata, mentre il primo tabernacolo ancora sussisteva.
Whereby the holy Ghost this signified, that the way into ye Holiest of all was not yet opened, while as yet the first tabernacle was standing,
9 Il quale [è] una figura [corrispondente] al tempo presente, durante il quale si offeriscono doni e sacrificii, che non possono appieno purificare, quanto è alla coscienza, colui che fa il servigio divino;
Which was a figure for that present time, wherein were offred gifts and sacrifices that could not make holy, concerning the conscience, him that did the seruice,
10 [essendo cose, che consistono] solo in cibi, e bevande, e in varii lavamenti, ed ordinamenti per la carne; imposte fino al tempo della riforma.
Which only stood in meates and drinkes, and diuers washings, and carnal rites, which were inioyned, vntill the time of reformation.
11 Ma Cristo, sommo sacerdote de' futuri beni, essendo venuto, per mezzo del tabernacolo che è maggiore e più perfetto, non fatto con mano, cioè non di questa creazione;
But Christ being come an high Priest of good things to come, by a greater and a more perfect Tabernacle, not made with handes, that is, not of this building,
12 e non per sangue di becchi e di vitelli; ma per lo suo proprio sangue, è entrato una volta nel santuario, avendo acquistata una redenzione eterna. (aiōnios g166)
Neither by the blood of goates and calues: but by his owne blood entred he in once vnto the holy place, and obteined eternall redemption for vs. (aiōnios g166)
13 Perciocchè, se il sangue de' tori e de' becchi, e la cenere della giovenca, sparsa sopra i contaminati, santifica alla purità della carne;
For if the blood of bulles and of goates, and the ashes of an heifer, sprinkling them that are vncleane, sanctifieth as touching the purifying of the flesh,
14 quanto più il sangue di Cristo, il quale per lo Spirito eterno ha offerto sè stesso puro d'ogni colpa a Dio, purificherà egli la vostra coscienza dalle opere morte, per servire all'Iddio vivente? (aiōnios g166)
How much more shall the blood of Christ which through the eternall Spirit offered himselfe without fault to God, purge your conscience from dead workes, to serue the liuing God? (aiōnios g166)
15 E perciò egli è mediatore del nuovo testamento; acciocchè, essendo intervenuta la morte per lo pagamento delle trasgressioni [state] sotto il primo testamento, i chiamati ricevano la promessa della eterna eredità. (aiōnios g166)
And for this cause is he the Mediatour of the newe Testament, that through death which was for the redemption of the transgressions that were in the former Testament, they which were called, might receiue the promise of eternall inheritance. (aiōnios g166)
16 Poichè, dov'è testamento, [è] necessario che intervenga la morte del testatore.
For where a Testament is, there must be the death of him that made the Testament.
17 Perciocchè il testamento [è] fermo dopo la morte; poichè non vale ancora mentre vive il testatore.
For the Testament is confirmed when men are dead: for it is yet of no force as long as he that made it, is aliue.
18 Laonde la dedicazione del primo non fu fatta senza sangue.
Wherefore neither was the first ordeined without blood.
19 Perciocchè, dopo che tutti i comandamenti, secondo la legge, furono da Mosè stati pronunziati a tutto il popolo; egli, preso il sangue de' vitelli e de' becchi, con acqua, e lana tinta in iscarlatto, ed isopo, [ne] spruzzò il libro stesso, e tutto il popolo;
For when Moses had spoken euery precept to the people, according to the Law, he tooke the blood of calues and of goates, with water and purple wooll and hyssope, and sprinckled both the booke, and all the people,
20 dicendo: Questo [è] il sangue del patto, che Iddio ha ordinato esservi presentato.
Saying, This is the blood of the Testament, which God hath appointed vnto you.
21 Parimente ancora con quel sangue spruzzò il tabernacolo, e tutti gli arredi del servigio divino.
Moreouer, he sprinkled likewise the Tabernacle with blood also, and all the ministring vessels.
22 E presso che ogni cosa si purifica con sangue, secondo la legge; e senza spargimento di sangue non si fa remissione.
And almost all things are by the Law purged with blood, and without sheading of blood is no remission.
23 [Egli era] adunque necessario, poichè le cose rappresentanti quelle [che son] ne' cieli sono purificate con queste cose; che anche le celesti stesse [lo fossero] con sacrificii più eccellenti di quelli.
It was then necessary, that the similitudes of heauenly things should be purified with such things: but the heauenly things them selues are purified with better sacrifices then are these.
24 Poichè Cristo non è entrato in un santuario fatto con mano, figura del vero; ma nel cielo stesso, per comparire ora davanti alla faccia di Dio per noi.
For Christ is not entred into ye holy places that are made with hands, which are similitudes of ye true Sanctuarie: but is entred into very heauen, to appeare now in ye sight of God for vs,
25 E non acciocchè offerisca più volte sè stesso, siccome il sommo sacerdote entra ogni anno[una volta] nel santuario con sangue che non è il suo.
Not that he should offer himselfe often, as the hie Priest entred into the Holy place euery yeere with other blood,
26 Altrimenti gli sarebbe convenuto soffrir più volte dalla fondazione del mondo; ma ora, una volta, nel compimento de' secoli, è apparito per annullare il peccato, per lo sacrificio di sè stesso. (aiōn g165)
(For then must he haue often suffred since the foundation of the world) but now in the end of the world hath he bene made manifest, once to put away sinne by the sacrifice of him selfe. (aiōn g165)
27 E come agli uomini è imposto di morire una volta, e dopo ciò [è] il giudicio;
And as it is appointed vnto men that they shall once die, and after that commeth the iudgement:
28 così ancora Cristo, essendo stato offerto una volta, per levare i peccati di molti, la seconda volta apparirà non più [per espiare] il peccato, ma a salute a coloro che l'aspettano.
So Christ was once offered to take away the sinnes of many, and vnto them that looke for him, shall he appeare the second time without sinne vnto saluation.
