1 Re 15

1 OR l'anno diciottesimo del re Geroboamo, figliuolo di Nebat, Abiam cominciò a regnare sopra Giuda.

And in year eight-teen of the king Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat he became king Abijam over Judah.

2 Egli regnò tre anni in Gerusalemme. E il nome di sua madre [era] Maaca, figliuola di Abisalom.

Three years he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Maacah [the] daughter of Abishalom.

3 Ed egli camminò in tutti i peccati di suo padre, ch'egli avea commessi davanti a lui; e il cuor suo non fu intiero inverso il Signore Iddio suo, come [era stato] il cuore di Davide, suo padre.

And he walked in all [the] sins of father his which he had done before him and not it was heart his complete with Yahweh God his like [the] heart of David ancestor his.

4 Ma pure, per amor di Davide, il Signore Iddio suo gli diede una lampana in Gerusalemme, facendo sorgere il suo figliuolo dopo lui, e facendo sussistere Gerusalemme.

For for [the] sake of David he gave Yahweh God his to him a lamp in Jerusalem by raising up son his after him and by establishing Jerusalem.

5 Perciocchè Davide avea fatto ciò che piace al Signore, e non si era, in tutto il tempo della vita sua, rivolto da qualunque cosa egli gli avea comandata, salvo nel fatto d'Uria Hitteo.

That he had done David the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh and not he had turned aside from all that he had commanded him all [the] days of life his only in [the] matter of Uriah the Hittite.

6 Ora, [come] v'era stata guerra fra Roboamo e Geroboamo, tutto il tempo della vita di esso,

And war it was between Rehoboam and between Jeroboam all [the] days of life his.

7 così vi fu guerra fra Abiam e Geroboamo. Quant'è al rimanente de' fatti di Abiam, e tutto ciò ch'egli fece; queste cose non [sono] elleno scritte nel Libro delle Croniche dei re di Giuda?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Abijam and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah and war it was between Abijam and between Jeroboam.

8 Ed Abiam giacque co' suoi padri, e fu seppellito nella Città di Davide; ed Asa, suo figliuolo, regnò in luogo suo.

And he lay down Abijam with ancestors his and people buried him in [the] city of David and he became king Asa son his in place of him.

9 OR Asa cominciò a regnare sopra Giuda l'anno ventesimo di Geroboamo, re d'Israele.

And in year twenty of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Asa [the] king of Judah.

10 E regnò in Gerusalemme quarantun anno. E il nome di sua madre [era] Maaca, figliuola di Abisalom.

And forty and one year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Maacah [the] daughter of Abishalom.

11 Ed Asa fece ciò che piace al Signore, come Davide, suo padre;

And he did Asa the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh like David ancestor his.

12 e tolse via i cinedi dal paese; rimosse eziandio tutti gl'idoli, che i suoi padri aveano fatti;

And he made to pass away the male cult prostitutes from the land and he removed all the idols which they had made ancestors his.

13 rimosse ancora dal governo Maaca, sua madre; perciocchè ella avea fatto un idolo per un bosco. Ed Asa spezzò l'idolo di essa, e l'arse presso al torrente di Chidron.

And also - Maacah mother his and he removed her from queen-mother that she had made an abominable image to Asherah pole and he cut down Asa abominable image her and he burned [it] in [the] wadi of Kidron.

14 Tuttavolta gli alti luoghi non furono tolti via; ma pure il cuor d'Asa fu intiero inverso il Signore, tutto il tempo della vita sua.

And the high places not they were removed only [the] heart of Asa it was complete with Yahweh all days his.

15 Ed egli portò nella Casa del Signore le cose che suo padre avea consacrate, e quelle ancora ch'egli stesso avea consacrate: argento, ed oro, e vasellamenti.

And he brought [the] holy things of father his (and [the] holy things *QK) [the] house of Yahweh silver and gold and utensils.

16 Ora vi fu guerra fra Asa e Baasa, re d'Israele, tutto il tempo della vita loro.

And war it was between Asa and between Baasha [the] king of Israel all days their.

17 E Baasa, re d'Israele, salì contro a Giuda, ed edificò Rama, per non lasciare uscire, nè entrare alcuno ad Asa, re di Giuda.

And he came up Baasha [the] king of Israel on Judah and he built Ramah to not [surely] permitting [any] escaping and coming to Asa [the] king of Judah.

18 Laonde Asa prese tutto l'argento, e l'oro, ch'era rimasto nel tesori della Casa del Signore; [prese] eziandio i tesori della casa del re, e li diede in mano a' suoi servitori, e li mandò a Ben-hadad, figliuolo di Tabrimmon, figliuolo di Hesion, re di Siria, il quale abitava in Damasco, dicendo:

And he took Asa all the silver and the gold which remained - in [the] treasuries of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] treasures of [the] house of (the king *QK) and he gave them in [the] hand of servants his and he sent them the king Asa to Ben Hadad [the] son of Tabrimmon [the] son of Hezion [the] king of Aram who dwelt in Damascus saying.

19 [Siavi] lega fra me e te, [come è stata] fra mio padre e tuo padre; ecco, io ti mando un presente d'argento e d'oro; va', rompi la lega che tu hai con Baasa, re d'Israele, acciocchè egli si ritragga da me.

A covenant [be] between me and between you between father my and between father your here! I send to you a gift silver and gold come break! covenant your with Baasha [the] king of Israel so he may go up from on me.

20 E Ben-hadad prestò le orecchie al re Asa, e mandò i capitani de' suoi eserciti contro alle città d'Israele, e percosse Ion, e Dan, ed Abel-bet-maaca, e tutto Chinnerot, insieme con tutto il paese di Neftali.

And he listened Ben Hadad to the king Asa and he sent [the] commanders of the armies which [belonged] to him on [the] cities of Israel and he struck Ijon and Dan and Abel Beth Maacah and all Kinnereth with all [the] land of Naphtali.

21 E, quando Baasa ebbe [ciò] inteso, restò di edificare Rama, e dimorò in Tirsa.

And it was when heard Baasha and he ceased from building Ramah and he remained in Tirzah.

22 Allora il re Asa, con bando pubblico, adunò tutto Giuda, senza eccettuarne alcuno; ed essi portarono via le pietre, e il legname di Rama, la quale Baasa edificava; e con quelle cose il re Asa edificò Ghibea di Beniamino, e Mispa.

And the king Asa he made proclamation to all Judah there not [was] an exempt [person] and they carried off [the] stones of Ramah and wood its which he had built Baasha and he built with them the king Asa Geba of Benjamin and Mizpah.

23 Ora, quant'è al rimanente di tutti i fatti d'Asa, e tutte le sue prodezze, e tutto ciò ch'egli fece, e le città ch'egli edificò; queste cose non [son] esse scritte nel Libro delle Croniche dei re di Giuda? Sol [avenne che] nel tempo della sua vecchiezza egli infermò de' piedi.

And [the] rest of all [the] matters of Asa and all might his and all that he did and the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah only to [the] time of old age his he was sick feet his.

24 Ed Asa giacque co' suoi padri, e fu seppellito con essi nella Città di Davide, suo padre; e Giosafat, suo figliuolo, regnò in luogo suo.

And he lay down Asa with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoshaphat son his in place of him.

25 OR Nadab, figliuolo di Geroboamo, cominciò a regnare sopra Israele l'anno secondo d'Asa, re di Giuda, e regnò sopra Israele due anni.

And Nadab [the] son of Jeroboam he became king over Israel in year two of Asa [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.

26 E fece ciò che dispiace al Signore, e camminò nella via di suo padre, e nel suo peccato, col quale egli avea fatto peccare Israele.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in sin his which he caused to sin Israel.

27 E Baasa, figliuolo di Ahia, della casa d'Issacar, congiurò contro a lui, e lo percosse presso a Ghibbeton de' Filistei, mentre Nadab, e tutti gl'Israeliti, assediavano Ghibbeton.

And he conspired on him Baasha [the] son of Ahijah of [the] house of Issachar and he struck down him Baasha at Gibbethon which [belonged] to the Philistines and Nadab and all Israel [were] laying siege on Gibbethon.

28 Baasa adunque l'uccise l'anno terzo d'Asa, re di Giuda, e regnò in luogo suo.

And he killed him Baasha in year three of Asa [the] king of Judah and he became king in place of him.

29 E, quando egli fu re, percosse tutta la casa di Geroboamo; egli non lasciò in vita alcuna anima vivente [della casa] di Geroboamo, finchè l'ebbe distrutta, secondo la parola del Signore, ch'egli avea pronunziata per Ahia Silonita, suo servitore;

And it was when became king he he struck down all [the] house of Jeroboam not he left any breathing thing of Jeroboam until he had destroyed it according to [the] word of Yahweh which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Ahijah Shilonite.

30 per li peccati di Geroboamo, ch'egli avea commessi, e avea fatti commettere ad Israele, [e] per lo dispetto onde egli avea dispettato il Signore Iddio di Israele.

On [the] sins of Jeroboam which he sinned and which he caused to sin Israel by provocation his which he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

31 Ora, quant'è al rimanente de' fatti di Nadab, e tutto ciò ch'egli fece; queste cose non [son] esse scritte nel Libro delle Croniche dei re d'Israele?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Nadab and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

32 Or vi fu guerra fra Asa e Baasa re d'Israele, tutto il tempo della vita loro.

And war it was between Asa and between Baasha [the] king of Israel all days their.

33 L'anno terzo d'Asa, re di Giuda, Baasa, figliuolo d'Ahia, cominciò a regnare sopra tutto Israele, in Tirsa; [e regnò] ventiquattro anni.

In year three of Asa [the] king of Judah he became king Baasha [the] son of Ahijah over all Israel in Tirzah twenty and four year[s].

34 E fece ciò che dispiace al Signore, e camminò nella via di Geroboamo, e nel peccato di esso, col quale egli avea fatto peccare Israele.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of Jeroboam and in sin his which he caused to sin Israel.
